The apartment is situated in a pleasant residential complex featuring modern holiday homes—arranged as semi-detached units and small clusters of houses—just a stone's throw from the water. The surrounding area offers opportunities for saltwater swims, forest walks, and a coastal landscape that invites both relaxation and exploration. Built in 1993 and renovated in recent years, the apartment is bright, fresh, and has a modern feel. The hallway offers space for outerwear, and right next to it is the bathroom, equipped with a toilet, washbasin, and shower. The kitchen and living room feature an open, sociable layout with a dining area and a seating area, where a beautiful sea view accompanies you throughout your stay. The apartment has two bedrooms. One is furnished with a double bed (two 80 cm mattresses) and a large mattress topper. The second bedroom contains a full-sized single bed (90 cm) and a practical, simple fold-down upper bunk (80 cm) that can easily be lowered when needed. Bjällansås offers an excellent base for exploring some of Bohuslän’s most cherished attractions. Meet the animals at Nordens Ark, go swimming and crab fishing in one of the many bays, or take the ferry to charming Fiskebäckskil and Lysekil. There, you’ll find Havets Hus (the oceanarium), cozy ice cream parlors, and pleasant settings perfect for a stroll. For those seeking more activity, there are opportunities to rent a kayak, hit the hiking trails, or join a boat tour through the archipelago. You might also want to take a day trip to Smögen—famous for its iconic wooden pier—or visit Tjörn and the Pilane Sculpture Park. At the same time, there is every reason to simply stay put and enjoy the local area. Take a morning dip from the rocks, spend the day at the beach, or gather the family at one of the barbecue areas for an open-air dinner. The sea-facing patio makes it easy to switch between lazy hours by the water and comfortable breaks inside the apartment. Perhaps a homemade lunch before your next swim, or a moment of rest in the shade before the day’s adventures continue. Families with children particularly appreciate having accommodation so close to the beach; the little ones can easily pop inside for a rest or a snack without the whole family having to pack up the car. There is also a playground on the premises. The area is hilly and features some stairs, but the reward is the constant proximity to the sea view.
