Inside The Trailhead, our team of professional designers and landscape architects has created an open and inviting atmosphere, rare in Santa Fe rentals. Enter through your private terrace into the light-filled living area, featuring a comfortable sofa, additional seating, and a smart TV with streaming.

The full kitchen is equipped with an oven, four-burner range, dishwasher, and range hood – perfect for preparing meals. A dining table for four provides a comfortable space for dining, working, or gathering.

Step through a sliding door to the serene bedroom, complete with a king-size bed and luxurious linens. The full bathroom features a shower/tub combo and ample counter space. We absolutely loved our stay! The home was super cute, modern, and spotless — with tons of natural light and every amenity we could possibly need. It was the perfect place for our trip, and we’d absolutely stay here again. Plus, Cafecito next door was such a great spot for breakfast or brunch! Highly recommend.

Andres and Solange have created the perfect oasis in Santa Fe. We recently had the good fortune to spend a couple of nights in one of their properties and had the most zen-like experience. The bubbling fountain and landscape in our courtyard was the perfect location to relax and Cafecito, located on the property, was a great setting to enjoy a yummy breakfast or lunch. Easy access to the walkway leading to the Railyard and the Plaza made it the perfection location to explore Santa Fe. Thanks so much for an amazing couple of days!

We had a very enjoyable stay. The location was fantastic, and the amenities were excellent—everything was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped.If I could give 4.5 stars, I would, but I’m rounding up to 5 because overall, it really was a great place. The natural lighting was ok, though I wouldn’t describe the space as especially light and bright. The one area that could really use improvement was the artificial lighting, particularly in the living room and kitchen. The living room had some decorative lighting that created nice ambience, and there was a small reading lamp, but it wasn’t really functional for general use. The bigger issue was the kitchen: at night, there was virtually no lighting over the main prep areas. The stove light and the dining table light helped a bit, but task lighting—especially over the counters—was noticeably missing.That said, the experience overall was positive, and we really did enjoy our time there. With a few lighting upgrades, this place would be close to perfect.

Home away from home! The best place to stay in Santa Fe!

The apartment was super clean, very modern, and great location! Take the trail to the farmer’s market on Saturday morning or go a little farther and you are at the plaza downtown! Only two rentals available in the entire building so no need to worry about loud neighbors. There is a restaurant attached if you want to dine in. We had a great experience. Had a chance to visit with the owner/architect and she genuinely cares about her guests. They have thought of everything with this place! We will definitely stay here again!

Experience the vibrant heart of Santa Fe at the Trailhead Compound, a thoughtfully designed community blending offices, shops, homes, and our beloved Cafecito. Our location in the Baca Railyard District puts you in the center of it all.  

Enjoy the unique flavors of Cafecito, our family-owned gem serving a delicious and healthy menu inspired by Argentinian, Armenian, and Italian cuisine. Savor authentic Buenos Aires-style coffee, mate (a traditional Argentine tea), and a variety of empanadas with chimichurri sauce, along with other cultural favorites. It's the perfect spot to grab a cup of tea, work remotely, or simply soak in the Santa Fe vibe.  

Our apartment is located in a new industrial-style building within the Trailhead Compound. Step outside and you're directly on the rail trail, offering easy access to the Railyard (via an underpass), the historic Plaza, and the rest of Santa Fe. Cerrillos Road, the freeway, medical facilities, and all other Santa Fe conveniences are also just minutes away.  

Please note: As the Baca Railyard District is still developing, there may be some construction activity in the area which is scheduled to end April 2025. While most days are quiet, occasional daytime noise from machinery is possible.
