This is a great find. The unit is as advertised in the description and pics. It's in a great area, and feels very safe. Everything for eating, shopping and touring is very walkable. The hosts are very responsive. We would definitely book there again.

Everything about this rental was great! The decor is bright and lovely - and the place was immaculate. Our host was very responsive. Would definitely go back! Only one consideration for those that have mobility issues - there are two flights of stairs to get to the apartment.

The Place was very clean and in a great location, and easy to walk to everywhere. However it was a little small and it only had 1 bathroom which was difficult for a family of 4. Also the apartment was on the 3rd floor and carrying our French bulldog up and down the stairs 3-4x a day was a challenge. Also the locks on the front door and apartment door was very tricky to open and lock. The host Matt was very nice.

Great 50th Birthday!

There were four of us that stayed the night to celebrate a 50th birthday. The place was away from the loud, crazy downtown but very near to shops, cafes and restaurants. It was the perfect size for the four of us. Clean and cute and comfortable! We would highly recommend a stay here!

Great stay

Had a wonderful stay at this 2-bedroom apartment for a birthday trip with my siblings! The location was perfect—close to great restaurants and the spa. Plenty of beds so everyone had their own, and the space was comfortable and well-equipped. Would definitely stay again!

This place was perfect for our mom’s away stay. Plenty of space. Perfect location - walking distance to shops, restaurants and spas. Easy communication. Super clean. Super comfy. Nicely stocked kitchen. Will definitely come again!

Holiday getaway

My young adult daughters and I spent a few days at this lovely place to catch up and spend time together. Once we parked the car we didn’t need it for our entire stay. We enjoyed the cliff walk, area restaurants, and shopping. The location of this place was perfect. There was plenty of room for all three of us. It was well stocked with keurig pods for the mornings. Plenty of towels. Comfy beds with super soft cozy blankets. We would totally stay there again. Thank you Matt and Ryan.

Birthday weekend

Awesome location! Walkable to shopping and restaurants. Nice big open floorplan - lots of natural light! Perfect set up for our stay! Prior to check in we received a very detailed welcome book w/ all the information we needed during our stay; check-in/check-out instructions, etc. We had trouble w/ the code getting into the unit (our fault) and Matt responded within minutes. We had a great weekend and worked perfectly! Highly recommend!!

We loved this place for a quick Newport getaway midweek. Walkable to great shopping and restaurants. Matt was super responsive and answered all our questions quickly. The place was very clean and neat. The bathroom is super cool!! Thanks for your hospitality, Matt!

The Penthouse on Thames Street is a cozy place close to shops, eateries, and local historic sites. The hosts are great and responded quickly. We would recommend this getaway spot.

Did not disappoint!

Impromptu getaway to the Newport area and this ‘Penthouse on Thames’ was perfect! It was our 2nd time staying in a Yachting Village rental. It’s a great location for enjoying all that Newport has to offer. It was exactly as described. It was bright, clean, well stocked and a good space for our family of 4. Hope to come back for a longer stay next time!

Loved it. Great location, clean, well equipped kitchen, owner communication was excellent, comfortable bed, enough pillows, good TV station selection.
