Pass on this outdated house

9/23/2022 The refrigerator and freezer shelves and oven door were held together with tape (which did not hold), the dishwasher broke while there, the 2-burner stove top was slow to heat, the coffee maker was broken, bbq was out of gas and filthy, the carpets were heavily stained and disgusting, no bedside lamp in the down stairs bedroom, no napkins, facial tissues, washcloths or dish soap. The blankets smelled and did not seem clean. Compared to other houses available we paid top dollar for this house and did not receive top value! We are very disappointed and would not recommend this house!!!

GREAT location

This property was great for what we needed as a family. The location was the best part. You walk out of the house follow a 100ft grass trail over a bank and you are at the beach. The house could use some minor upgrades. The refrigerator was duct taped inside, not a huge deal but it came loose many times over the 5 days we were there. There were 8 of us on property that would have loved to enjoy the balcony but there are only 2 Adirondack chairs. This is an inexpensive amenity that could make a big difference. The appliances overall in the house are very outdated as well as the bedding. These are just cosmetic things. The house was great overall for what we were looking for.

beach getaway

This was a great location and house, the pictures represent it well- for us the master bedroom bed was very uncomfortable, as it was a complete Foam mattress, so squishy, so if you prefer a hard mattress this house is not a good choice, also there are only two burners on the stove and the grill side did not work very well

Great except

Great place and very nice. 2 problems. Upon arrival and unpacking my 11 month old son picked up a pill off the floor that had been missed by the cleaning crew. 2 more of these were found during the stay leading us to believe that the house was not cleaned properly. He had put the pill in his mouth and we spent an hour nervous and on the phone with poison control to find out what the pills was. Luckily he was fine and we caught him before he could try to swallow or ingest the pill. We are seeking our cleaning deposit back from the rental company. The other item was that halfway through the trip the fire place cease to operate which was a bummer.

perfect beach getaway

We were able to stay for the long weekend. House was very very clean. The kitchenware was spotless. The house has easy beach access by a path and you even get a bit of a water view from the deck.

Kiwanda Beach stay

This was a perfect 3 bedroom home, within a couple blocks of the beach. The home was clean and bright with a very well stocked kitchen. We would definitely stay here again!

Great value.

My family stayed at this home for a long weekend and we enjoyed our stay very much. We had issues with the Wifi, but considering that it wasn't even supposed to have Wifi, I can't complain. It would be nice if it had reliable Wifi, not so we could stay inside and play on electronics, but the cell reception is so bad that Wifi is needed to be able to communicate with the outside world. It is an easy 1-2 minute walk to the beach and it is close enough to the town that it is an easy walk along the beach to get there. The house was clean and comfortable. Thanks for letting us stay at your home!

Great house for 2 families with kids!

We really enjoyed our stay at this house, particularly because it was SO CLOSE to the beach! Great for 2 families. The BBQ worked but was very unpredictable. It was quite an ordeal to fire it up ( 1 burner wasn't working), plus the BBQ was in the garage which was a little odd. The "fun" back patio was nice and big, but it would have been nice to have furniture out there so we could actually enjoy it - table and chairs. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed for cooking and there were lots of toys, puzzles, and books for the kiddos (ages 1-3). The king bed in the master was SO comfortable! It was a bummer not to have wi-fi, but it does create a "phone free" weekend, which was nice.
