Island Winds East 505 invites you to indulge in a serene Gulf-front experience. This exquisite 1 bedroom, 1 bath condo offers the perfect getaway for relaxation with the soothing sound of the waves as your backdrop.

Perched on the 5th floor, this Gulf Shores condo rental is conveniently situated by The Hangout and all that downtown Gulf Shores has to offer!

In the Primary suite, find solace with a comfortable King bed and entertainment from a flat-screen TV. The living room, not to be outdone, also features a flat-screen TV, plus a sofa sleeper, accommodating up to 4 guests comfortably.

The condo's interior boasts tile floors and a fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, ensuring a delightful cooking experience. Step out onto your private balcony to take in the breathtaking views, or make use of convenient amenities like the in-unit washer and dryer and WiFi access.

CLEAN BED PROMISE
Every Linen, Every Time: Liquid Life washes every linen for every guest. Every linen means every towel, every sheet, every quilt, and every pillow sham – every time. Inside our commercial laundry care facility, all linens are washed in our high-heat (150 degrees) commercial washers with our select, EPA-approved detergents to ensure complete sanitation. Liquid Life also follows specialized procedures to contain soiled linens and protect clean linens for every guest.

PARKING
Your parking pass(es) must be purchased at the front counter of Island Winds East upon arrival. It's important to keep in mind that during holidays, special event dates, and the prime season, only one parking pass is available per unit.

MONTHLY RENTALS

This property needs a face lift. Wall patching is poorly done, the ceiling has numerous areas of missing covering where it has fallen off. The painting is sloppy and the stovetop looks like someone attacked it with a file. The couch is very uncomfortable. We haven’t used Liquid Life before and we won’t again. We will be going back to our previous rental company.

Beautiful View, Condo Needs Attention

Cons: Cleanliness of condo wasn’t up to standards upon arrival. Promptly contacted the property management company and reported the issues. However, it took 48 hours to receive a resolution after having to contact them a second time. Concerning that there was no urgency on their part. Closet doors are warped, walls need fresh paint, living room furnishings are worn, blinds leading to balcony do not open. Not enough linens and kitchen did not have basic things like salt/pepper. We had to run out and buy a bottle of hand soap! Pros:Check in/check out process was easy. Quiet condo although it’s next to the elevators.Location is prime. Alvin’s Surf Shop, Lauria’s Italian, High Tides Daiquiri's are across the street and less than a 5 minute walk. Only a 15 minute walk to The Hangout and a 20 minute walk to Sea N Suds.Balcony is the best part of the condo. View is unobstructed. If you’re here for July 4th, the city doesn’t disappoint with their firework show from the pier. Overall:Great potential - Condo should be stocked better and presentation should be improved significantly. I would not stay at this condo again specifically, but I would stay in a different condo at Island Winds East or West. I feel as though there are other rentals within the same price range offering better hospitality.

GREAT VIEW BUT NO PRIVACY

Great property...Needs some small upgrades. Unfortunately I would not stay here again due to the lack of pricacy on the balcony. You can literaly hear your neighbors and see into the adjacent condo.

It was perfect for what we needed!!! I loved how close it was to everything. It is just my husband and I and we are very low maintenance. As long as there’s a bath tub and a TV in the bedroom we are happy. But this had so much more! 100/10 will stay again!!! Oh and the water pressure in the shower was PHENOMENAL. I miss it now that I’m home. lol.

This was a great condo with an amazing view and good location within walking distance of many restaurants and shops. The unit worked well for my husband and I and our 2 small kids.

Convenient, clean

Property was very clean. Ample towels. Kitchen was well equipped. Unit is smaller than it appears in the pictures. I wish there was a door to separate the sleeping area from the rest of the condo as i tend to be up earlier than my husband. But overall, very nice. Close to Gulf shores Pkwy. Lovely pool. Do feel parking should be included, not be an extra $50. Loved the balcony facing the gulf.

Great view from unit.

All in all, we had a good experience. There were a couple of minor issues that were not completed during our stay; however, we did have 2 issues that were corrected.

Perfect Location on the Beach

The beach was nice, but the weather was a little cool. We ate at some excellent restaurants and enjoyed the views. The condo is perfect for a couple, but really not for a family. The staff was friendly and communicated with us before during and after our stay.

Great Stay

It was right on the beach with a great view. We were also very close to a lot of restaurants, shopping, mini golf etc. We loved that it was like a little apartment to stay in with a washer and dryer and full kitchen. It was very easy to find, and the employees kept in contact with you and answered you back very fast. We just went to a local Walgreens to grab detergent and toilet paper for the week. The pool was always cleaned every morning and security was on sight as well.

Summer 2024 - Beach

The check-in process and communication was excellent. The condo included all the essentials and was tidy. The property grounds were well maintained and located within a short walking distance to restaurants, souvenir shops and liquor stores. We enjoyed our stay and looking forward to returning next year.

Great for the Price!

The property was super clean, but had a few things that could use maintenance. There was a closet door not properly hung, a cabinet door in the bathroom that doesn’t hang quite right, and a light above the sink out. All were minor things that didn’t really affect our stay. This property is located right across from the elevator which was super convenient. Unfortunately, the bedroom window is right there as well so you could hear everything in the hallway. Aside from the loud garbage truck that woke us up at 4 AM each morning, this was a great place for our Momcation

1st family beach vaca

This was the 1st vacation we have gone on that we stayed more than just a weekend. This was my son’s 1st time to the beach (actually his 1st time out of our state!) and my husbands 2nd time to the beach (he was so little he doesn’t remember it). We had a blast! My husband and I enjoyed just sitting out on the balcony, watching the ocean. It was so relaxing. My son loved the pool and the sand! We were able to walk almost everywhere we wanted to go, which was perfect! We had a blast!

Room was by elevators. Loud in hallway. Police action at 2am. from intoxicated residents. Building location to things was great! Security was very good. It was a college Spring Break timeline.
