Perfect spot for a Mammoth get-away

Fantastic stay right in the heart of town!

We had the best time at this property. It's just a few minutes away from the ski resort, and many of the amenities and restaurants Mammoth Lakes offers. The wall heaters are very efficient but the wood stove really rocks, with a TON of wood supplied and ready for keeping things toasty. The in-unit hot tub is spectacular. We loved sitting in the tub and cracking the window to let some fresh air in in the evening after a long day skiing.The kitchen is well appointed and coffee, sugar, filters are provided, which is great for this coffee drinker. There were plenty of board games for entertainment and a comfy living room setup to spend time together as a family. I found both beds comfortable and well-stocked with pillows and blankets, and everything was nice and clean, without feeling dated or too lived-in. The photos were accurate and I think they depict the actual condition of the home very well.Check in was easy, with the unit accessed via lockbox. And our host Barbara and property manager Joe were both friendly and helpful in making sure we had everything we needed. A great place to stay and highly recommended! In fact, we're planning to go back to Mammoth in a month and if the dates were available we were planning to book the same place again.

Cozy condo perfect for family

The photos and descriptions were a perfect match. The kitchen was fabulous for cooking family meals and all the firewood you'd need for a cozy atmosphere. We loved it and would definitely return for another stay!

Easy Peasy

The property is in a good location, easy access to Village and lodges, and within a few miles of all the restaurants and markets. It was clean, well maintained (only issue was a light in one of the bathrooms wasn't working and the WiFi was spotty, but not sure if that was the property or just ISP issues during our stay), the fireplace was great and kept the upstairs pretty warm and cozy. All the appliances were new and no issues. I highly recommend it.

Quiet Mammoth Getaway

Our unit was as advertised. It was clean and had all of the amenities we needed. It was situated in a quiet neighborhood and close to everything Mammoth has to offer. Above all else, our host Barbara was very responsive to all of our needs, including extending our stay be three nights.

Comfortable, clean, quiet and a nice location.

Great condo to rent! Very relaxed setting with a wonderful heated spa. Beds and bedrooms were clean and comfortable. Kitchen was very nice and modern. Easy parking and a nice location close to Vons market and other stores in Minaret Village. Would love to rent again in the future.

Delightful stay at Forest Creek

This is my second stay (last year) at a Forest Creek condo. There is a similar floor plan with the two bedrooms at entry level and living space and kitchen on second floor. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and there is an addition bathroom on the second level. The kitchen was modern and well appointed. The furniture was comfortable and well maintained. My only major criticism is that the wire mesh of the floor to ceiling screen in the living room needs to be repaired/replaced. The weather was hot this past week and a cross draft with open window was needed. Also, the parking passes for our two vehicles was missing from the folder. In summary, this condo is an excellent base for a stay in Mammoth Lakes.

Good value, good location, nice views

As indicated in other reviews, the interiors are a bit dated. But the condo is spacious, very comfortable and functional, and has the added benefit of the private jacuzzi. Also very nice views over meadow from the second floor. We raised some minor maintenance issues with the host, which I’m sure will be addressed.

Great location!

Overall our stay was good! Parking right in front. Spa was a plus. A few things added up, which resulted in a 4. The couch is desperately in need of replacing. There were stains all over it and the throw pillows were pretty gross. No padding in couch as you sat. There was no hand soap in any of the bathroom's. Had to use out shampoo to clean hands. Linens are also in need of replacing in the master.

Great location, excellent amenities.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and everything was as described. Plenty of firewood available to use and we were warm our entire trip. The location was excellent as it was not too far from Eagle Lodge, and not too far from the market. The shuttle stop is a short less than 5 min walk away. We will definitely consider staying again in the future.

Wonderful Stay in Mammoth

We had a great time staying at this condo. It is located in town and near the bus lines. The condo is very close to Vons & Grocery Outlet as well as the Village. The jacazzi is a great feature especially after a day of skiing. We had a lovely stay over the holidays and will definitely stay in this condo again in the future.

we love this property, it is clean and comfortable. a great location, close to everything. Only one thing-it might be time to change out the bath towels, they were fine but starting to show ware and bleach spotting.

Being a world traveler, I never thought I'd go to the same place twice but it happened and then happened again and again for over 5 years. One casual conversation about how much I enjoyed Mammoth with a realtor friend led me to making an offer on my second home that wasn't even listed. Several of our renters have now also bought their own places after enjoying my place for years. I now have an established community of friends in Mammoth.

Mammoth offers so much! Fishing, hiking, photography, concerts, biking, skiing, gathering with friends, dinners out and more! I love the outdoors from the blazing sunny summers to the seemingly endless winter storms that can last into July skiing. Over the years, there's been a steady increase in the quality of services and events that continues to draw me back to partake in new adventures. I love, love, love the privacy of our indoor Jacuzzi after a heart throbbing day of skiing or hiking and large open floor layout upstairs to be able to be together with others or even have your own space. It's also cool that you can choose to sleep in or take an afternoon nap or turn in early without being disturbed with others who might choose to stay up late upstairs. I really like cooking and eating in my place because it has everything I need and can avoid overpriced, crowded restaurants especially during busy times. It's so close to everything and easy and fun to walk to the village and town. Lastly, the Forest Creek complex is well managed and maintained (especially during heavy snowfall) by onsite long term experienced friendly couple that make sure to keep to keep pace with exceptional quality.
