Perfect spot overlooking Sunday River ski mountain!

Julie’s place was absolutely stunning. It has everything one would need for a getaway with friends or family. Julie was extremely communicative, friendly, and very accommodating. My beautiful bride and I will definitely be back! This place has my highest recommendation.

Beautiful, but beware

This is a very difficult review to write. In ways, five star. In other ways, one star. We stayed in the apartment above the lodge. In certain ways it was definitely one of the nicest places we've ever rented. Very comfortable and well equipped with an outstanding view of Sunday River. Convenient for skiing, hiking, and Bethel. Anyone renting this apartment must be aware of the fact, however, that directly below is a "lodge" capable of housing 8 people. The first night we were there the group renting the lodge returned at approximately 10:00. It was pretty loud below us and I contacted the owner to see if the group knew there were people in the apartment above. She indicated that they did know we were there. It didn't matter. The yelling and music began and didn't end until between 7:00 -8:00 am the next morning. Yes, all night. The only thing separating us from the party was a single interior door at the top of the stairs leading down to the lodge. No effort toward sound proofing at all. Anyone renting the apartment should know that they are at the mercy of the group below in terms of noise. Thankfully the party group left the next day (and lodge was unrented for the week) and we enjoyed a beautiful week in the apartment.

Perfect home base for a ski trip

This was the perfect home base for a ski trip. Property is just as described, close to everything and very cozy. The only drawback was that strong wind on the metal roof is very loud and can be a bit frightening for a child at night but we only experienced that one night of our trip. I would still stay here again despite that fact!

Cozy, beautiful view, everything we needed!

We enjoyed this beautiful mountain apartment, waking up to the view of Sunday River to plan our day! The place was nicely furnished, very clean, and it was equipped with everything we needed to cook & relax after a day on the slopes. The owner was very responsive & helpful. We look forward to staying there again!

Great location, amazing views

Cozy, clean, affordable alternative to a hotel room for a family of three spending the weekend at Sunday River. Just a few minutes drive to Sunday River's South Ridge Lodge and amazing views of the mountain from this property. We'd definitely stay here again. WiFi was a little spotty but I guess that's to be expected in the mountains. Bring your own kleenex, hair dryer, extra toilet paper, paper towels, and a non-stick skillet (if you plan to cook eggs for breakfast). No TV but fun board games provided for family entertainment.

Beautiful view of Sunday River

Less then 5 minute drive to ski lifts, plenty of parking, adequately equipped kitchen, very clean and cozy. I would stay there again.

Sunday River Gem!

Cozy and clean with phenomenal views! Extremely comfortable beds, full kitchen with just the right amenities. A "must go to" for couples and small families. It only took a few minutes to get to the lifts.

Fantastic 10 Day Ski Rental!

We are a large family of 9. The Lodge was perfect in every way, giving us all plenty of room for meals and just hanging out. Proximity to Sunday river for skiing was fantastic. It took us less than 5 minutes to get to the hill every day. Coming 'home' to the Lodge every day great and very relaxing. Everything was exactly as expected and advertised.

Our love of the outdoors has been a main staple in our lives, so we decided to offer our houses and property to extend our happiness to other fun couples' and families. Our property and the entire Newry / Bethel area has become an extremely popular destination for people of all ages and from all walks of life.

When you see the spectacular views, you will understand. It is a true escape away from all of the hub-bub at the resort, and an outdoor paradise all its own. We are a short 2-3 minute drive to the resort. You never have to drive another steep and windy road to get the great views again!
