We've rented quite a few properties over the years, and April is one of the most responsive hosts we've had. The home and yard are well-maintained, great place to stay. This is our 2nd time booking this home and we'll certainly be back soon.

This was a lovely, quiet, relaxing escape. We barely left the property. Our dog enjoyed the yard and being able to swim. We hated to leave but would love to stay again!

The whole property was a perfect spot for us. Clean quiet, all the amenities we needed, most of all I accomplished what i needed, and that was rest.

From the moment we opened the gate, we were transported into instant relaxation. This rental isn't just pet friendly, it's pet welcoming! We were delighted to see doggie food and water bowls available for our Labrador Retriever. Our doggo LOVED swimming in the lake. She had the time of her life! Food Lion is about 10mins away to stock up on supplies. Once you do, you do not need to leave the rental. Since there is no dishwasher, pick up dish sponges if you prefer over the available dishcloths. Also, the two propone tanks for the grill were mostly empty, with only enough fuel for one meal, so bring your own if you have it. There was also a small camp stove for charcoal grilling if you bring charcoal. Extremely relaxed for our entire stay. We were in town for a wedding and appreciated closet space for hanging fancy clothes as well as the full size mirror in the master bedroom closet. What was intended as a place to sleep to attend a wedding turned out to be our Oasis! We would love to return!

The home and property was better than described. Primarily went for a fishing getaway, found the dock to be in deep water with great access. House was very clean upon arrival, and great communication with property manager. I will note, nothing to do with the house whatsoever, but if you're planning on doing a lot of fishing with live bait bring plenty, there's only 1 store anywhere near here that sells bait and it's very limited.Ill definitely return soon.

The place and the view were amazing but the cleaning was NOT. The hot tub DEFINITELY needed to be drained and scrubbed! The living room, dining room and kitchen have very low ceilings and the light fixtures were covered in spider webs and spiders. I am 6ft 2 and was extremely close to having spiders and webs close to my hair and eyes. The back porch was covered spider webs. The ice maker doesn't work and fills up with water. I spilt some water on the floor shortly after arriving and wiped it up with paper towels and the floor had not been moped. Paper towel extremely dirty. Again this place could be amazing just needs a better cleaning crew.

Our welcome message says we are stand by to immediately take of anything not perfect and these issues would have taken 20 minutes or less to cure. Instead, this guest told me after the fact with the threat of a bad review if I did not refund the cleaning fee after I thanked him for his suggestions. Bad actor.

We had a wonderful stay in Chesney and truly enjoyed our time there. The cabin itself was basic, but it had everything we needed and more. There were so many thoughtful extras available, including fishing gear, kayaks, badminton equipment, and other outdoor items that made our stay even more enjoyable. The cabin also had all the essentials for a comfortable visit.The location was absolutely beautiful, right by the lake, peaceful, quiet, and very relaxing. It was the perfect place to unwind and enjoy nature. Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish, and we had absolutely no complaints whatsoever.She definitely deserves five stars all around, and we would happily stay here again if we are ever back in the area.
