Super stay!

We loved our time at Froso's place. The pool was amazing, 15 minute walk to the beach which was big enough to have activities but still felt quiet relative to Corfu. Horseriding around the corner and amazing views over the countryiside. The apartment was comfortable and excellent value for money.views from

Good value for money with a good location.

This apartment is good value for money. It is well situated, with a 7min walk to local supermarket and 10 min to beach and restaurants. The apartments are managed by a lovely couple who are very friendly and accommodating. For instance I requested to use their washing machine (was happy to pay) and they did my wash at no cost. We also asked to stay until our taxi arrived at 11am on day of departure, which was no problem. The apartment is basic but clean and perfectly adequate with air conditioning and a safe. The swimming pool is cleaned every day and there are plenty of sun beds and chairs with shade if needed. Towels are changed twice a week (no beach, pool towels provided). Bedding changed weekly. Its a quiet resort so if your looking for late nights lots of restaurants shops etc this is not for you. However if like us you want a traditional resort with friendly people, relatively quiet then it is!!

Wirklich tollen pool,

The property has a really great pool which our kids loved and a good base for exploring the north of the island. Supermarket is just around the corner. Mosquitoes can be a nuisance in the summer, but we managed to keep them under control with a variety of means. The kitchen is very functional, not for people who cook a lot ☺️ There are many nice taverns in the area. The small balcony is very nice and absolutely sufficient for cozy evening moments, but rather not well suited for extensive meals for 4. The hosts were friendly and unobtrusive. Unfortunately (and that was really a minus point) we didn't get a mattress for the baby bed. The hostess offered us blankets, however, it wasn't really comfortable. This should be changed urgently. Apart from that we had a very nice stay.

Quiet peaceful all you need . Not too many tavernas but a few . Supermarket nearby and beach a little further on . Great for a get away from it all . Wouldn’t recommend if your looking for busy / nightlife

Wonderful clean apartment with a beautifully kept garden

Wonderful clean apartment with a beautifully kept garden of flowers, Olive and lemon trees. Lovely pool in the garden and sandy beaches and restaurants a short walk away. Fantastic place to stay and also to explore the rest of the area from.

Fantastic view, great owners....

You don't get a sea view but the view of the greenery and mountains. Very quiet and pieceful area. The owners were friendly, nice local beach. Pool is clean apartments are spacious. Aircon and safe included in price. It pains me to write potentially bad things about these apartments. A positive if any is more to do with the area than the apartment. I believe Corfu is going through a bad patch much like the rest of Greece such as taxes, poor pay etc,i will attempt to write the following comments with some positive spins on them as we a great time but some people maybe put off -There was a lack of sunbeds, if you get the typical people that wake up and claim the your sitting on chairs or on the grass. There is a bar on the property which is reasonably priced, but it only opens at certain times and if the whole apartment doesn't use it, they close it. The shower doesn't have a holder, and there isn't a TV, I feel the apartments need a little uplift. The apartment and towels are only cleaned once a week (I think this is due to the current staff situation etc.).The local beach is nice, the restaurants and supermarkets are a walk away. Come here for a peaceful place to change and sleep. Hire a car and enjoy what the island has to offer.I would say possible don't bring any children that can't entertain themselves. I would still urge you to stay and not be put off, tourism is still currently the life blood of the island and Greece. Fran apartments is a catch 22 place that needs us to help it along. We had a great stay here.

Kind owners and a good location.

The husband and wife team of owners were kind, with the male owner even chatty in a charming mix of languages. A sweet, sandy beach was within comfortable walking distance for us adults (toddler legs required some assistance) "Ice Dream", a gelateria just up the hill towards Acharavi, served delicious ice cream- with a little playground for the kids The small kitchen had a full-sized stove and some decent pans Eating dinner on the balcony with a lovely view. The bedrooms were a bit dark The only places inside to sit down were the chairs at the kitchen table (or on the beds). This is fine when the weather is nice enough to sit on the balcony, but we had four days of rain during our stay and would have loved some comfortable chairs or even a couch The furniture and decorations were a bit run-down. Things didn't quite feel shabby, but not pretty either. It would have been nice if the shower head could have been hung (we were soaping up with one hand while the other held the shower head up)
