Great House

Big, beautiful home with large gathering areas. Bedrooms all good size and master on top floor is huge. Top of line appliances and kitchen has everything anyone would need. Pool was cleaned twice in a week and access to beach was easy. Chairs and umbrellas set up each day we were there. Location is convenient to shops and restaurants. Will be back.

Annual Family Beach trip

The house was very nice and very well supplied. The only property issue that occurred (one A/C unit not operating properly) was rectified immediately. Unfortunately, it was not always an enjoyable experience because each day required someone to establish a place at the beach by 7:00 am or there would be no direct access to the water (I didn't get out there until 7:30 on the 4th and had to set up chairs four houses down the beach - 1st world problem). I understand that it is a public beach during the week of July 4th, but for this price it was not worth it. If you like wall-to-wall tents, umbrellas, and chairs, you will enjoy the beach experience. 30-A has changed through the years and is not the beach experience I once enjoyed. Still a beautiful beach and house but just not for me.

The inclusion of beach chairs and umbrellas along with the beach box that included beach towels, water and trash bag was very accommodating. The young men were hard working, polite and courteous.

Great Vacation

Loved our time at this property! The management company was great to work with - had some issues with the pool/hottub at first but they worked hard to fix and then we had no issues the rest of the week! A ton of space for everyone in our family and can't say enough about the views :)

Amazing house!

We’ve stayed on 30A for Fall Break for 7 years and this was our favorite house, by far! Incredible location and the house was spectacular! We had 14 people in this house and the layout was perfect. We never felt cramped! The beach chair service was with its weight in gold! We’ll be back!

Amazing stay and house

We loved the house. It is beautiful! We lives the location. All the extras, ping pong, pool table, arcade were great for the teenagers on the rainy days. We would stay there again!!

Sea Star is a 5 Star

Communication for this home was very prompt. The home is very beautiful and in a great location. Barrett Square is right down the street with lots of restaurants. The Hub is in walking distance and a fun hang out. Seaside has lots to offer as well. The buzzing alarm on the back door to the pool area was annoying but we got used to it over time. I understand the reasoning for it, so you are alarmed if a child should open the door knowing there is a pool/hot tub out there. It would be nice if it can be turned off when the guests are all adults. All in all, we would rent this home again.

Beautiful home; property management needs improvement

Lovely home - clean, well equipped, lovely pool, beautifully decorated, incredible beach! Our family checked in on Christmas Day. Originally we were told 3pm check in. Three days prior to arrival, I received a text stating check in was 4:00 pm, but if the house was ready, they would send entry code earlier. We arrived at 3:00 pm. House was ready. We sat in the driveway with 2 babies until 4:15 pm. 30A Escapes did not answer office number, after hours emergency number, email or text number. I finally contacted VRBO who reached them to send us the entry code. Our check in day was a Saturday, so I waited until Monday to contact them. Their response was that Saturday was a holiday and no one was in the office to respond to us upon arrival. I shared with them that we had a VRBO rental property for years, and that the reasons owners pay a management company include having someone on call for the property 24/7. They did offer is a late check out, which was very helpful. I would be very careful if I rented from 30A Escapes in the future - really need to verify check in and check out times prior to arrival. We had questions on a couple of things - Miele coffee make had an out of order sign on it, had trouble figuring out the pool/hot tub heating - and they never responded to the voicemail I left. There was a regular coffee maker - so no big deal, and we figured out the pool/hot tub.

Best house on 30a

This was the best house we have ever stayed in on 30a. The pictures are beautiful, but this house is actually better than the pictures. The view is spectacular and the pool to the beach access is amazing. The owners thought of every detail to make it nicer for their guests. The property managers are the best- they are super responsive and bent over backwards to answer questions and help make our stay perfect. The location is perfect - private but so close to great restaurants and markets. Such a fun and relaxing vacation in the most amazing house!!

Beach retreat

This house did not disappoint. The views, the beach, the open late out and enough rooms for everyone. The close proximity to town and the ease of renting bikes for the week was wonderful and an easy ride for little kids to make it to town. The beach and water was so perfect. We plan to come back again!

Perfection

Having been to the 30A area for 30 years, I can easily say (and my 12 family members agreed) this was the best house we have ever stayed in. The pictures are exactly what the house looks like. The layout is perfect and we always felt we had plenty of room. The extras - pool table, ping pong, arcade game, puzzles - all made it easy for people to entertain themselves. The kitchen is well stocked and we cooked every night. Aesthetically, the house is beautiful and not kitschy at all. Every room is serene and it was easy to keep picked up and clean. Of note, we have often found that there A/C is inadequate in houses we have rented. That is not the case here. The house stayed perfectly cool And comfortable the entire week Ceiling fans in the bedrooms were so nice as well. The pool and hot tub are amazing. And the beach chair service was perfect as well. We are hoping to rent the house again next year. I cannot say enough about how much we needed this escape from our day to day reality, and are so thankful we were able to restore ourselves at Sea Star.

Enjoyed beach, beds, kitchen and pool after we cleaned it ourselves. Exterior landscape was done while we were there. For what we paid, would have appreciated that being done before we came. Also railing going to Beach was very uneven and filthy. Some in our group would not go for fear of falling. Interior of house was decorated beautifully. Enjoy the family time together. At this price we expected a better maintained home.
