Great little house, just right for us. Peaceful location but near to facilities. Spotlessly clean, well equipped and plenty of towels and sheets. The host Liliane was most attentive and gave us good suggestions for an outing.

Our stay in Les Eyzies

The accommodation was situated on the river, near all the shops and the excellent museum of prehistory.. It was very calm and peaceful. Communication with the hostess was clear and easy.

Fantastically located house in middle of Les Eyzies. Next to river with east access to restaurants. House is simple but comfortable enough. Note no internet.

Wonderful experience

Amazing location; on one side the beautiful Vezere River with a grassy promenade, on the other a short walk past two restaurants up to the main street, with a bakery on one side and the prehistory museum across the street. The house is charming; it is small but the rooms are spacious. We loved the private courtyard. The kitchen was small but had everything we needed. Plenty of hot water, plenty of towels. The hosts were extremely responsive to my questions. We felt fortunate to stay there. It was perfect for the two of us, a mother and adult daughter. We thought it beautiful and had a wonderful and comfortable stay.

A really great property in a perfect setting. Right in the middle of the village, with a beautiful view of the river. The house was perfect for our family’s week long visit, with our daughter loving her time in the attic. The only thing that was slightly frustrating were some missing items for the kitchen. There was not kettle for making tea/coffee, no potholders, and no dish towels for drying dishes (which was necessary in the small kitchen). There also was no handsoap available in the bathroom. Still, a really great place and very nice owners. (Also take note, that Les Eyzies has no grocery shopping options, so be sure to purchase supplies before arriving in town!)

Decouverte de la Dordogne

Excellente situation pour rayonner dans la region. Endroit calme. La maison typique de la region est tres bien décorée. Petit hic : la très petite cuisine et l'agencement de la vaisselle si on aime cuisiner. Par ces fortes chaleurs, nous avons pu apprécier la fraicheur de la maison.

Nous avons adorer habiter dans cette maison, qui est vraiment sympa et où on profite d'une location parfaite! Rien à dire. En plus Lilliane et Gilles sont adorables.

Sehr gut , die Lage der Wohnung könnte nicht besser Sein. Es fehlte am fast nichts, Außer eine große Tasse für Kaffee wäre nicht schlecht. Die Beschreibung der Wohnung war exakt der kleine Vorgarten hervorragend. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Lieben Dank fertig

Maison idéalement située au cœur du village. Permettant de pouvoir limiter les trajets en voiture. Seul bémol, chambre difficile d’accès si l’un des occupants est très grand.

Inmitten der Menschheitsgeschichte

Das kleine Haus ist ein Anbau an ein größeres Gebäude, das heute ein Hotel ist. Liegt direkt an der Vezere, daher ruhig und naturnah. Eignet sich als Ausgangspunkt für einen Urlaub in inmitten der Menschheitsgeschichte um prähistorische Höhlen zu besichtigen, das Museum vor Ort, aber auch um die Natur zu genießen. Das Haus wirkt auch im Inneren wie aus der ersten Hälfte des letzten Jahrhunderts, verfügt aber moderne Geräte. Klimaanlage ist auch bei Außentemperaturen von über 35 nicht nötig. Wir fanden es gut, unser Hund hatte sich auch schnell eingelebt. Danke für die freundliche Kommunikation mit Lilliane. Ingo und Claudia

Très agréable !

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine aux Eyzies dans une adorable petite maison. Au cœur des animations estivales, nous avons pu participer aux vendredis gourmands, au bal, au marché et passer des nuits calmes et reposantes. Énormément de choses à découvrir sur place et à proximité (grottes, gouffres, baignades et canoë, châteaux… Nous avons adoré !
