Wonderful Week in Seaside

Wonderful!

Had such a wonderful time in such a beautiful home and location. Everything was perfect. Welcome package super helpful and appreciated. I couldn’t have asked for a better overall experience. Our children (6 and 8) never wanted to leave. Balcony, surrounding landscape and proximity to center / beach was perfect and serene. Loved it!

Relaxing Family Vacation

Our large family recently stayed at Saratoga and we had an amazing time. The house is very spacious and seemed to be newly painted. It was immaculate, and I'm a picky visitor. The beds are comfortable and inviting. The kitchen is large and felt updated and well-equipped. The house is extremely close to the beach and to town. We really enjoyed using the provided bikes to easily get around. The porches are large and the access from the master bedroom was a true pleasure. We loved our stay and can't wait to go back!

Amazing time at the beach!

My family and I spent the week at this amazing house. It was a great location, only a short distance from the beach, pool, and town square. The house was beautiful and well situated for our family of 5, with 3 kids under 5 years old. The house was newly renovated and we loved the clean feel, bright space, and the great porches. My wife was also very happy with the management company, as they were extremely helpful and even left us a goodie bag on our arrival. Seaside is a great destination made even better when you have such a great place to stay. We look forward to staying here again the next time we get down to the beach!

Comfortable and Roomy House

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house layout was perfect for our group of six, with two to a room and each room having its own bathroom. The living area/kitchen is open and airy and easy for everyone to hang out in. Air conditioner worked great. Everything was clean and well-maintained. Newly remodeled bathrooms were very nice. Very short walk to town square and restaurants or beaches. Even on a hot day, the walk was short and easy. Check in/out was seamless as management company was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect house for our family

Vacationed in Seaside in late summer 2017 with our family of 5 (3 kids between 5-10 yrs old) and the grandparents. The house worked well for our needs and was super clean. The grandparents appreciated the downstairs master and the rest of us had plenty of room upstairs. The bedrooms and living area is very spacious and we never felt cramped. Kitchen was well stocked which allowed us to eat-in often as our kids are picky eaters. Loved the overall location... steps away from the central square and a few houses from the family pool, where we spent a lot of time. The beach was just a less than 5 min walk too.. Will stay here again next time we are in Seaside.

Memorial Day at 30A

Our family spent Memorial Day weekend in Seaside at the Saratoga house. We could not have been happier and definitely had everything we needed and more! The location was perfect…a short walk to the West Ruskin Pavilion for beach access and to Seaside Town Center. We enjoyed days on the beach with beautiful weather and all that 30A has to offer. Some of our favorites were early morning bike rides, breakfast at Black Bear Bread Co, Modica Market, shopping, dinner on the rooftop at Bud and Alleys, FOOW, Blue Mountain Creamery, and the Seaside food trucks. We loved spending time on Saratoga’s large front porches and relaxing inside with its gorgeous decor. Another perfect 30A getaway for our family…we highly recommend Saratoga for your next Seaside beach vacation!

Great Location!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We usually stay closer to town but this house was such a great location (Just cut through the school) that we decided to try it. Very happy with the location itself and the home was very clean and beautiful. The porches were lovely and each bedroom had its own bath which was nice. The only cons to the property was a lack of privacy being right next to the walking path (Don't walk to the coffee maker in your skivvies), and the dryer doesn't have an effective lint trap so you end up with lint everywhere, and one of the upstairs rooms has little air flow. Other than that, this was an amazing stay!

Final trip to Seaside

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We are previous visitors to the community...we hosted family/friends for a week and were disappointed that the beach was not cleaner/groomed as in previous stays. The cottage while in a convenient location ( and we are repeat visitors) was not in the condition we had hoped. Showing age, not well kept up, housekeeping marginal ( dirty floors etc.). Furniture covers were filthy according to my wife. We felt badly as our guests were first time visitors - bottom line - not good value for the $$$$ - certainly not in June.

Furniture and home on older side.. dirty couch, creaky upstairs king bed, older outdoor pillows, broken trim and cabinet. Property not cleaned well.. no ‘smell’ of being recently cleaned. Hair in shower, rings around faucets, sticky pulls, dirty floor, dusty trim, dirty glassware, cobwebs on lamps and such. These factors should not be found in a rental property of this price.

Cozy trip with friends & kids

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love Seaside and come every summer! I was looking forward to our stay at Saratoga but was a little disappointed. The floors upon arrival were still dirty, crumbs and sand etc ... They were quick to come back out and clean them which was much appreciated! The furniture and rugs are showing wear and tear and their appears to be mold growing on the walls and ceiling in the upstairs bath. The AC does not keep up enough to cool the upstairs - we had to turn it WAY low to get the upstairs comfortable. Bathrooms are newly remodeled but not enough counter space in the upstairs front bathroom, and the shelf in the shower leans so all your toiletries fall to the floor. We used a towel to help hold them in place! Great location, cute home! Just needs a little TLC and its own upstairs AC unit.

Won’t Be Back Again

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was not good. There were no manuals on usage of very complicated TV sets. Management was called and didn’t have a clue either. There was no written material on restaurants in the area... no info on anything, and management was not helpful at all. There were no air vents in upstairs bedrooms, and complicated fans instead. For the money charged it is all inexcusable.

Great house

Hidden Fees

The property was beautiful but we were disappointed with the hidden fees. The bait and switch I should say. The fees equated to 100% or more of the nightly rental. We were looking for a short get away for our son who is leaving for bootcamp. He is leaving soon so we had to act quickly to rent something. He wanted seaside, so we chose something which fell within our budget. Once the owner fees and the VRBO fees were added our cost was double. We will not use VRBO again. The owners should be paying VRBO for renting their property. The renters should not have to pay a fee. That is ridiculous and a scam if you ask me. I will tell everyone I know not to use VRBO.
