Great location, loved the pool and the front porch! Could use some minor updating on stairs outside and furniture but nothing major. Would recommend a covering over the door in one of the back bedrooms. Overall, great property!

Re-connect with old friends.

The weekend was perfect. We sat on the deck, drank wine and coffee while catching up on lost time. There is a nice view of the Gulf from there. We walked to the beach the next day which was a short walk. The beach was not crowded due to the fact that there are no high rises near. Numerous restaurants are very close and we spent one day at Gulf Shores State Park on e-bikes. Great accommodations, location and the entire booking process was super easy.

Really enjoyed our stay at 50 shades of blue. Great vacation rental. House was well equipped even with beach toys/chairs etc. Staff was very friendly and easy to contact with quick return calls. Handled any issue/needs almost immediately. Only need we had was having pool heater cut on. We loved the pool and a great fit for family of 8. However a handrail and/or some type anti slip surface on top step would be beneficial as we did have 2 that slipped off the top step. Otherwise extremely impressed with house and rental agency.

Great location; Short walk to beach

Would suggest adding TV's to other 2 bedrooms for kids, only other issue was getting locked out of unit and having to wait over 2 hours for someone to let us in. Was made to feel as if it was our fault the keypad malfunctioned on the last night of our stay by Myron; guy finally came with a key and stated that he never seen one do this before.Had to miss a show we planned to see.

Family time

We had a fantastic time. Wish we could have stayed longer. We came down to spend the week before school starts back up to relax & unwind before everyone’s schedule gets crazy. Thank you so much for such a beautiful property & great time. Suggestion- maybe keep some board games handy in case of rain. It only rained for about 40 minutes during our trip but everyone was searching for things to do.

Perfect home, beautifully decorated and convenient to all things!

50 Shades of Blue was the perfect home for us in Sept 2023. From the initial reservation through the checkout process, we were provided top communication. The home is comfortable and convenient. It was peaceful and comfy and right across the beach! Beautifully decorated, ample parking and walkable to all the sites of Gulf Shores. Within minutes of grocery, ice cream and restaurants. Every amenity: coffee makers, ice makers, great WIFI, TV, amazing front and back porches and even floats and a board for the ocean! To improve on future guests stays, I would recommend blackout curtains in bedrooms. With particular attention to the back right side bedroom which the door had no coverings on...we could not use at all due to the bright lights even at night. Two other suggestions: improve the cookware for guests as the pans are very worn and tired...and hard to clean. Additionally there is a safety issue with the lighting on the stairs at night. Not sure how to rectify this but one light is not enough when going down the numerous stairs.

Great Location for Gulf Shores

Place was perfect for our family of 4. Pool was nice when couldn’t swim in the ocean or during the hot afternoons. Everything worked good in the house and we enjoyed our stay. We would stay in this location again. This was our second trip to Gulf Shores and this location was great. Easy walk to the beach.

Just a short distance from the beach

This house was great for my family of four and my mom who also made the trip with us. I was hesitant about staying across the street from the beach at first, but the walk was very doable, even with a toddler and infant. We’d definitely stay again.

Fifty shades of blue .

Property was just as described . Very clean and well stocked with needed items. Location to beach was a very short walk. Love the pool and front porch. You can see and hear the ocean from the porch . The only thing I would say to improve would be a shade/blinds on door of room with the 2 queen beds. We had to take a towel and cover this . We enjoyed our stay and will certainly book this property again ! I have also recommended it to other friends .

Cute house close to beach

We normally like to stay right on the beach, but this house was all one level and perfect size with a private pool. Beach access was a short walk.

Perfect getaway

Overall, my family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Location was great and heated pool worked out perfectly. Cool front came through and going to the beach really wasn’t in the cards. We loved the location and will definitely look into going again.

Perfect Spring Break Getaway!

We loved this property and all it has to offer! The proximity to the beach and local shops and restaurants is perfect for quick trips and easy access. The house was well maintained and setup for families who want to relax in the pool in between beach days. The description and instructions for property user were very well laid out and easy to understand which made checking and out very quick. We will be back soon for sure!

Great Location!

We loved the house! It was just the right amount of space for 4 adults and 1 toddler. We really loved the pool, although small, it was great to dip in after a day on the beach. The walk to the beach was way shorter than I expected and you could even see a little bit of the beach from the front porch. We spent a lot of time out on the porch so the only negative thing I have to say is the condition the deck was in. The deck and stairs really need some work. There were some rusted nails and a lot of wear and tear on the paint. So the outside of the house was a lot more run down than the pictures. But overall, we would definitely stay here again!

Great for family time

The house was very cozy, and was in a great location. The beach access is within 200 yards which is tremendously convenient. The surrounding area has a small town community feel. Highly recommended by me!

Great place, good quiet location

Nicely appointed, clean home with a good restaurant and beach access nearby. The AC was broken when we arrived but the management team was fairly efficient in getting it fixed - but most importantly they were kind and understanding and easy to get in touch with.

Porch Views with a great location

The porch is the shining star of the house. Our whole family enjoyed relaxing on the porch and looking out at the views. With two grade-school aged children, we also spent hours in the pool and loved being able to have it heated. The walk to the beach is simple and easy. Kitchen is basic but functional. I would pack a few extra things next time as we do tend to cook at least twice a day. Everything was clean and worked well. I especially liked the text message communication as it was easy and fast.

The deck!! Clean and Cute! Great management company!

First - the property management company was great to work with. Before our trip, they answered every email - any question I had about the property. Once we arrived, any issues we had, they were a phone call or a text away. When our flight got delayed significantly, they were accommodating with our check out time. When we accidently got locked out of the property, they talked us through the key code. They were genuinely nice and understanding. The property is very clean, updated fixtures and furnishings. We have 4 teens, and there was plenty of kitchen, living, and hangout space. The deck was perfect to gather morning, day and night. It truly was a great space to connect as a family. There was enough beds for 6 people/teens, and two baths. The pool is cute and private, would be great for young kids too (who maybe didn't want to be in the ocean.) The kitchen is large enough to cook a full meal if you wanted, however the house is close enough to restaurants if you don't want to cook. Would recommend to family and friends, and would definitely stay here again!
