Is a great location, unheated pool & non working hottub, lot of steps inside. Roomy livingroom & dining area. Big bedrooms bathroom is really small. Beds could use new mattress or at least flipped. We had fun & liked location

Somethings need updating. Bathrooms are great! It’s a perfect serviceable place!

We had a lovely time celebrating my FIL 75th bday. We had some meals at our rental, kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans. Be sure to bring seasoning, cooking oil etc. Towels are provided, limited shampoo and conditioner so pack your own. Furniture is outdated as well as decor. For us it was fine because we spent the majority of our time outdoors. Overall we had an amazing experience and would stay there again!

Pros and Cons Review

Pros: Price compared to other places on the island was reasonable. Pool was nice (you do share with other side of duplex). Location was great - 1 block from beach access, across main strip from Whataburger, pretty central location on strip. Beds were super comfortable! Showers were nicely updated. Parking - they tell you 2 spots are available but we fit 2 large trucks, and mid size truck, and a small car in the driveway. Cons: Layout was a bit unexpected - this is a 3 level duplex with 2 bedrooms at the top, kitchen and living in the middle, and 1 bedroom at the bottom that you access through the garage or sliding glass door by the pool. The downstairs bedroom was VERY HOT, possibly because it attached to the garage? Plugs in bathrooms did not work (yes, we tried switches), Furniture in bedrooms had a strong musty smell. Dryer was missing lint screen and took a long time to finish drying. House didn't feel very clean overall. Pics need to be updated.

Amazing!

This place has enough space and was very beautiful! The only issues we had was the dryer it wouldn’t dry out clothes, but this place is close to Everything and within walking distance of the beach.

Great stay!

Great place to stay. The family had a great time. It was very spacious and accommodating. The only thing was the pool not being clean since it was Dec it was not a big deal. Looking forward to renting it in the summer!!

Definitely would recommend.

Our stay with our kiddos was all so great in this house. Clean house, kids loved the pool, especially the walking distance to the beach access.

It's a ok place but I won't stay there again

The place is ok close walk to the beach but when I first got there it was hot the air was off and the place smell a lot like humid and it took more than 1 day for the smell to go away the manager came by and install a machine to clean the air also the bedroom downstairs has a second it's own air unit and it takes a while to cool down also the shower in that room doesn't have hot water it's just warm the place is kind a old house with old TVs and no variety on the cable some things for the owner to fix

We are disappointed to see our guest would not return to this rental. The property took an ozone machine out to the property, and the air conditioning was found to be working perfectly during its last service check. Thank you!

Disappointed

While it was close to the beach, the pictures where deceiving it was a 5 minute walk to the beach. The boardwalk in the pictures was nowhere to be found. The house was clean but there were a multitude of problems. The beds need new mattresses. We did not expected perfect mattresses but the ones we had were creaky, and had an obvious dip in the middle. The AC stopped working and the dryer didn’t work. The shower door in one of the bathrooms was not on the rail, and could not be opened or closed. The sheets had very suspicious stains. The freezer would pop open every time you closed the fridge. Other than that, the pool was great and the house was ok.

Great place

our stay was very enjoyable. the house was big and our group of 10 had more than enough space. The house was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. The pool was nice and big, with a balcony on the second floor overlooking it. They had the garage full of toys for us to use in the pool or to take to the beach, which we really enjoyed using. The only down sides was that the first floor bedroom has its own separate a/c so when you get there its pretty hot and you have to turn it on and wait for it to cool down, but it really wasn't that big of a deal. Definitely going to book this place again in the future
