We are a Christian homeschool family of five that loves to experience education and not just read it from a text book. This home has blessed us with the ability to travel more often and give our children experiences we could otherwise not afford. Born and raised right here in Williamsburg, I am the lucky father of this great family. After graduating from James Madison University and spending time in Atlanta, Georgia, Branson, Missouri, Fort Smith, Arkansas and Springfield, Missouri to name a few, my wife and I realized growing and raising our family in my beautiful hometown of Williamsburg, Virginia among grandparents and childhood friends couldn't be beat. A 25 year veteran of the restaurant industry, I am finally in the second and most fulfilling chapter of my life, due in large part to the success of this rental, but most importantly due to my faith in our Lord and Savior. After years and countless hours in the restaurant business filled with long work weeks, missed birthdays and holidays and time spent away from my growing family, The Lord put it on my heart to put that aside and focus on what should have been my primary mission, being a true father to my children and the spiritual leader of my household.
I am blessed with a family that has a heart for God and is active in spreading the Gospel. My beautiful wife over the years has served on Outreach and Mission Teams and lead numerous groups of missionaries into Mexico to spread the Gospel while building houses for families in need. Her current mission field is homeschooling our two daughters with the addition of two of their friends. She has an unwavering passion for pouring into young girls both educationally and spiritually!

Our forever home and slice of heaven is located on 6 acres that backs to 800 acres of additional farmland. The only immediate structure nearby is the caretaker's house which is located adjacent to ours on the 6 acres. My wife and I carefully designed our home with the help of a local architect and then proceeded the custom build with my wife overseeing the process from start to finish. This open concept floor plan makes great use of all available space. Whether your preparing a gourmet meal, sitting down to a holiday feast or entertaining in the living room, you're never out of the conversation!

Need to relax after a long day at Busch Gardens, Water Country USA or Colonial Williamsburg then just retire to the enormous covered back deck that overlooks the woods and crops in the field. The huge deck is equipped with dual ceiling fans, speakers, an oversized 7 burner Jenn-Air stainless steel gas grill, seating for all guests, a fire table for your enjoyment on those cool nights and yet still room to spare! The covered back deck has been a VRBO's fan favorite for morning coffee, family reunions, wedding anniversaries, birthday celebrations and even Yoga Class.
Kids and grownups a like have also thoroughly enjoyed gathering and consuming the fresh eggs the chickens on the property provide. Help yourself!
We are located in close proximity to Busch Gardens, Water Country USA, Colonial Williamsburg and numerous golf courses and wedding venues.
