Beautiful house! We had a great vacation.

This house was beautiful and offered everything we needed including gorgeous views of the beach and ocean. We highly recommend and would rent again.

Beautiful home on a quiet beach

We enjoyed our time at this Jewell. Our large group slept comfortably with room to spare. Loved the quiet beach, soft sand, and having one of the only houses in the area with a pool. Great stay!

Awesome House for a Big Family Getaway!

This property was perfect for our annual family beach vacation! The house was clean and the perfect size for our group. The pool was bigger than other houses on the beach that we have rented in the past, the kitchen was well equipped, and the bedrooms were roomy. Best of all, the beach was beautiful and not crowded a bit, even in June! Overall a wonderful trip! We will definitely book this property again!

Beverly Family Vacation

This property was perfect for our family—this is our first time in a beachfront home with a pool. We’re probably spoiled now! Loved lounging in the pool here, especially since the ocean had a jellyfish infestation. We were finally able to get in the ocean on our last day. The pool was a lifesaver!

Family Get Together

There were 20 adults and 10 Grandchildren, all age 5 and under. Nice house with plenty of room. Having a pool was wonderful, and being right on the beach, was a plus. The elevator came in very handy too. We had some initial issues, but Prickett Management was timely. The stove and oven tend to overheat and there was a musty smell throughout the house, but overall, it was a very nice place to stay. We would defintely consider a return trip.

Yearly Beach Trip

Our family greatly enjoyed our stay at The Jewell of the Gulf. The entrance walkway from house to the beach was perfect for my 80 year old mother who was recovering from knee surgery. The condo has 3 refrigerators which was key for our large family and a large dining table for nightly dinners. The fact that it had an ice machine was also ultra helpful. The oven needs some TLC though. The bedrooms instead of chairs need dressers , so you are not living out of your suitcase all week, but again a lovely place and a lovely time were had by all!

Perfect

This home was beautiful and meet our needs for our large family. We wanted a house with a large great room , kitchen area. This house had that. So many houses I looked at were very narrow across the front. We loved the pool for our little ones and the easy access to the beach. We rented beach chairs and umbrellas. Ike’s beach rentals were also great in taking care of that. Our week was delightful...

Decent place

The location of the property and the house itself were beautiful. The only issues we ran into is having to buy more cup towels (property only provides 2 and house sleeps 28) and that the oven does not work properly. The oven was a big issue as we made meal plans weeks before coming and half of our meals were ruined because we needed the oven. We will return and hope the issue is fixed before then. Overall would recommend and stay again.

Great place for family and friends

This was our second time to stay at Jewell of the Gulf so it felt like home to us.. It’s a beautiful house and was perfect for our group of 16. We enjoyed the heated pool after a day on the beach. The kitchen was large enough for several of us to be in and cook meals. Thanks for renting your amazing home!

This Jewel is truly a jewel

We had an entire family ranging in age from 18 months to grandparents. Everything was perfect. The layout could not have been bettter. Individual privacy when we wanted it and the most wonderful floor plan for gathering. The pool was situated right outside the sliding glass doors just a few steps from the kitchen so kids came and went all day with no problems. The beach was gorgeous with a surprise shipwreck buried right next door. We had a little hiccup upon arrival which the management company addressed and repaired immediately. We had a fantastic vacation. We will definitely book this perfect vacation spot again.

Annual Family Vacation!

My husband and I treat our kids and grandkids to an annual end of the summer beach vacation. This year my extended family joined us. We recently lost our mother and decided we needed to make more of an effort to spend quality time together. There were 12 adults and two kids, ranging in age from 1yr to 94yrs. We had a blast! The first two days were a little sketchy as hurricane Ida visited. We had some associated property issues that were to be expected but the management team was on it! They sent people out multiple times to make sure we were safe and comfortable. The Jewel of the Gulf property is fantastic and accomodating for a very large group, even larger than ours. It has everything you need. It is decorated beautifully but best of all you are directly on the beach and you have your own private pool. We hope to make this our annual Family Vacation getaway. We have some siblings that couldn't make it and now we know there's plenty of room for them, there kids and grandkids as well. Just no more hurricaines please! Amazing!!!

This home is amazing. Our family is very LARGE and it accomodated us all. The pool was a life saver. Double red flag days the pool let the kids still be in the water. The decor is beautiful. Every room is very large and comfortable. Thank you to the home owner and the property managers. They answered all of our questions.

Great beach house location

The house was in a great location. Right on the beach with our own wooden boardwalk directly to the beach. That was really great with all the kids and all of our beach chairs and toys. There were 24 of us staying in the house and all had a great week. There were a few wrinkles in our otherwise great week. The wi-fi didn’t work the entire week! The house sleeps 28 people but the living area is comfortable for about 6 or maybe 7 people. Not great. Also the whole back of on side of the sectional was broken! The bedrooms were extra big but no furniture with drawers to put clothes in and only one nightstand per bedroom. The oven smells awful the entire time it is on and we cooked a bunch so real stinky. It was great having a pool but it was filthy. I’m not talking about the amount of sand in the bottom when we got there but the thick scum around the entire waterline of the pool. It was very nice having an elevator! It was very nice having two refrigerators and a large gas stove. Overall we had a great vacation but don’t let the pictures fool you. This house needs some work.
