Clean, close to the beach, close to the action. Had everything that we needed to enjoy our stay. Easy to book and access. Only recommendation is to upgrade your mattresses but that is just a personal opinion.

The property was A — just as described! It was super close to the beach and restaurants, making it the perfect location. We really enjoyed our stay, and it was ideal for my large family. Would definitely stay again!

Great proximity to the beach.

Steve was very responsive to communication and prior to our arrival. There are quite a few activities, beach access, and restaurants within walking distance. We enjoyed talking to the next door neighbor who also offered great insight into the community.

Perfect Getaway

Stayed here for the week with my employees for a work event and was the perfect location for us! Close to local coffee shops, the convention center and could walk to the beach at night. House was plenty big and cleaned. Would stay there again!

A++ for Convenience

This place was adorably decorated with all kinds of summer vacation beach vibes. It was full of conveniences: a couple of blocks from Atlantic Avenue and the beach; fully stocked with linens, towels, dishes, utensils and cookware; plenty of closets and drawer space; AC that you could control; full size washer and dryer; outdoor table & chairs with a propane grill for entertaining outdoors. There were a few boogie boards, styrofoam cooler and a fold up canopy available for borrowing in one of the closets. The host has a digital "welcome book" full of information about the house and nearby restaurants and activities. Overall the place was very clean. The neighborhood was fairly quiet although you may hear banging from the parking garage construction and near constant flying of military jets during the day. However, I'm a detail oriented person and I could see that the place had taken a beating from clients of past stays. The top railing and ladder of the bunk bed were broken; the window next to the bunk bed had water damage and the blind was broken; the ceiling fans in the bedrooms didn't work; several window screens had tears in them; the bathrooms had moisture damage to the walls and base of bathtubs. No major issues observed. I think with some painting, caulking and sprucing up, the place can be its adorable self for family vacations to come.

Advertised/post picture should be adjusted to reflect property reality. construction is currently being done nearby. Lots of street noise from traffic, etc and light polution with no curtains in bedrooms. The beach access is close to weed dispensary so the marijuana smoke smell was quite strong on walk to beach. Good location (other than pot dispensary)close to beach and convention center with parking. We did have ants and a visit from ‘palmetto bug’ which strongly resembles a roach. Other than dispensary and bugs stay was satisfactory at best. Not much attention to detail regarding guest accomodations. Literally 1 beach towel for small child provided.

Location and Ease

We had a great time. The property was easy to get to despite the construction in the city. It was perfect for our group easy to get to the venue and the boardwalk from the home. It has a nice back yard area for lounging. We are looking into booking it for next year.

Great Location

Such a great location! Easy access to the beach and shops but also amazing location for those with events at the convention center. Host was very quick to respond and very helpful with all questions. Kitchen was well equipped with pots, pans, baking sheets, etc.

Definitely pick this spot!

Pick here. It is only a few short blocks to the beach. The house is much bigger than the pictures show. There are three rooms with one bed and then a room with a bunk bed. There is everything you need - even a grill! We had a blast here. The weather was rainy but we still had a ton of fun being able to gather around the dining table and hangout with friends who came from all over. Check in an check out were a breeze.

Great location, home and host

We took our daughter and granddaughter on a family trip for their high school graduation. The home was clean and the location ideal for walking to the beach and restaurants. The house layout was ideal, as the 2 separate living areas gave us the ability to spread out. When we traveled by car, the location was just off the interstate which made getting around easy. Also, the host was very accommodating and responded quickly when I reached out to him. I would definitely book again and recommend.

Great Time

I spent 5 days in this house while on vacation with my family friends. Steve was very helpful and informative when communicating with me, despite having to deal with issues through Vrbo. The house is wonderful, clean, and spacious, and even includes a little statue of what looks like a pizza man in the kitchen. I'm not sure if he has a name or not, but my friends and I named him Phil for the days we spent with him. The house is very close to the boardwalk and is within a 10 minute drive of literally everything one could do at Virginia Beach. The owner and the house were very nice and made our vacation one to remember!

Great location and price!

My family came up from Atlanta to visit my husband and myself. We live in Chesapeake but they all stayed in the house. Although it rained most of the weekend, they all enjoyed. Home was clean. Amenities were nice. Linen clean. Proximity to beach, shopping and stores was super convenient. Home manager was very receptive to request and communication was constant.

Close to old Beach area with Coffee shops to walk to .

Overall we had a good time. The home was spacious with two living rooms for our team to spread out. Bathrooms are a bit small but besides that we enjoyed our stay.

Great location

Close enough to beach to walk. Great hot water heater. Fridge made noises. Tv upstairs had issues. Communication was tough. Carpet that was replaced was great. Other carpet not so much. Backyard unusable. Old jacuzzi is an eyesore. Cigarette ashtray outside never cleaned.

The house wasn’t bad it served it purpose. Would I rent it again no. The owner was nice and responsive. My problem the carpet had stains on it which I feel is really not to sanitized. Because it stormed all weekend cable didn’t work but for a couple of hours. Also had to constantly take trash out because if not there was ants everywhere in the kitchen which I’m not to fond of anytime of bugs. But overall again it served its purpose.

Never again

House was honestly terrible, ants all through the house, grass was super high, grill is broke, hot tub was nasty, AC sucked since it’s old, toilet runs continuously, upstairs hand rail made me nervous my son was gonna fall, ice machine didn’t work and fridge wasn’t very cold, broken glass on the stairs, and I just honestly would not recommend it to anyone nor will I be coming back to this house.
