No good for me

It's impossible to swim. The beach is rocky. There is seaweed from the shore.Major construction work for 2 days (chainsaw, drill, etc.). Impossible to relax at the pool because of the noise.

House on the beach

After a mixup on our arrival, we really enjoyed our stay. The property was as described. It was awesome to have a covered porch and the pool was fantastic.

Sandcastle

Everything was great !!! Robert was excellent and it was very smooth from arrival to departure!!! Anything we needed while we were there, he was available!!! The only thing that we could say that wasn’t that great was the couch was small and we couldn’t both lay down on it and watch tv . And there were only two beach chairs by the pool but we brought our own rafts and that worked out awesome super nice to walk down the beach to a couple bars and restaurants definitely go to the beach grill and see Wally he is the best. Lots of dogs in the neighborhood but they are cool they do like to bark though enjoyed every minute that we were there definitely a Chill place for chill people

Great location

If your looking for a quiet location steps from the beach this is the place. I went with my husband and our friends met us for the last week of our trip. We stayed 2 weeks. There was plenty of room for 4 adults.There was a couple great resturants right on the beach walking distance, even tho we had a car it was nice to just walk down the beach to dinner. We did share the property, there was another house rented in our gated space. Thankfully they were great people and we all got along wonderful as we had to share the pool. The house its self needs some love. Its was clean, but dated. We were provided plenty towels for our stay. BBQ was a nice touch, we enjoyed that a couple nights. The pool furniture was broken(2 lounge tanning chairs were cracked down the middle)so we used the outdoor furniture that was in the house in the screened in area. I asked permission to take it to the pool area. The pool area was just beautiful with all the plantation surrounding it. We enjoyed our stay,

Very Relaxing Stay

The property is located on Sandy Bay. It's a peaceful area but limited for snorkeling. Bring lots of Deet since mosquitos are always hungry for fresh tourist blood. Only a short drive to the west end which has a great assortment of shops and restaurants.

Nice stay in Sandy Bay

Our stay in Sandy Bay was good. Great to have the beach across the road in front of the house. Having a pool on the property was great. AC worked great to cool the bedrooms, ceiling fans helped too. There were two great places to eat up the beach about a 5-10 min walk. The only thing I found that could have been better was the sugar ant situation. They were everywhere in the house especially the kitchen and bathroom. Maybe having the place sprayed before guests come would be nice. My husband and would like to return to Sandy Bay. 🦎🌴🐠

Sandy Bay Bliss

We spent a month at this property. It is located near the end of the public beach and is close to two great beachfront restaurants (Sunken Fish and Blue Bahai). You have to walk or taxi to get to good snorkling spots but the view is lovely. Having the communal pool makes this an excellent place to hang out and chill after walking the beach or touring the island. Very comfortable lodging, great screened-in porch and ceiling fans are useful. Bedroom AC units available. We recommend this spot and dealing with Francisco was extremely easy and helpful for any questions that arose. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was a cute place. Communication with the coordinator was excellent. Advertisement is slightly misleading due to the fact that the cottage only has 1 bathroom, not 2. Parking, due to road conditions and complicated security gate was a bit challenging, but we were thankful to have a safe place to park. There's fantastic beach access and you can walk up the beach to several excellent places to eat. The downside, if I can be honest for a moment, is that the house was full of bugs/insects, the furniture is horribly uncomfortable, you get charged separately for electricity, and there's a dog close by that barks all night long. Other than that, and the false advertisement of a second bathroom, this place was fantastic! If you're looking for luxury, find a different place. If you're looking for affordability close to a beach, then this is a great option.

Short Gettaway

Perfect place for a 5 day stay. Walking distance to beach restaurants and dive charters. Francisco was very accommodating and patient. It took a long while to get out of the airport! He was really understanding and waited for us to arrive. The place is clean and well organized. Everything in the kitchen was in good working order. He let us follow him to the grocery store so that we could pick up essentials. The pool was a great amenity. The kayak and paddle boards rental place was just a short walk down the beach. Then you can paddle out and snorkel directly out from the property. Really enjoyed our stay!

Gettin' better

I stayed at the sand castle at Christmas and commented on the need for a little post covid TLC. Well, they have made some nice improvements including new windows! The house is always clean and comfortable! Nice place to stay. Good job guys!

The Sandcastle was a really great place to stay! The property is beautiful and there is a pool. There are a couple places to walk too close by for drinks and food. The people of Raton are so nice, including the property management of this place!

Awesome home, location, and service

The house was beautiful, clean, fully stocked with necessary supplies, and the pool was amazing! Francisco responded immediately to every question and was very helpful throughout our stay. The beach is right across the street and it was a lovely place to walk with friendly neighbors. Tranquil seas and Blue Bahia are just a short walk, about a city block, up the beach with multiple dive shops as well. Peaceful quiet location with a great breeze/ natural ventilation! It’s only a short walk to the main road to catch a taxi and I really appreciated having a washer and dryer on site. Having a propane bbq grill was an added perk as well as pool toys for the kids. I’m definitely returning on future trips!

Great Vacation Rental!

This is our second year staying at this rental. We stayed a month in 2019 and this year we stayed 5 weeks. The home is comfortable and feels like home to us. You have a great view of the ocean and a beautiful pool that is only shared with one additional rental. 2 restaurants with bars just a short walk down the beach. It felt secure and all the people were so friendly. We had a couple of issues with one of the air conditioners, but management sent someone immediately and resolved the issue. Thank you Francisco for all your assistance. Must appreciated.

Relaxing vacation

We had a great stay, there are 4 restaurants/bars within walking distance. You can easily catch a taxi and go to West Bay/End. The pool is fantastic and the beach is right across the sand road. Also great snorkeling from the beach. Had a great time!

Nice stay

Needed better lighting and and air flow in living area -seating wasn’t to comfortable. It was very humid, there was AC in the bedrooms. We spent our evenings in the bedroom where there was light and cool Air. Pool was nice when it was clean. Beach is not swim worthy. Beautiful sunsets water is very shallow and grassy with coral . Would not recommend in Sept-Nov which is the rainy season -just way to humid and very little breeze

Muy buena ubicación pero cero confort

La casa esta localización entre west end y coxen hole además cuenta con una muy linda vista y una piscina excepcional además de estar a unos pasos de la playa pero el mobiliario dentro de la casa se nota que es de hace 20 años ya que la sala solo cuenta con un sillón muy deteriorado y 2 sillas de madera nada confortables y no digamos el porche no insita a descansar, al contrario. Por otra parte los dos dormitorios cuentan con aire acondicionado pero es más el ruido que hacen que lo que funcionan porque igual se nota que no le dan mantenimiento, las ventanas de celosillas no funcionaban, la poca ropa de cama ya tan gastada por el uso. El servicio sanitario con una fuga de agua y con un recipiente para que no se bote el agua. Como conclusión la casa necesita renovación de su mobiliario para ser confortable y llegar a ser 5 estrellas y así poder realmente disfrutar las vacaciones.

Totally awesome relaxing fun

OMG Francisco, you did an amazing job. You was there at the airport picking us up and started making us feel like we belonged in your country. Taking us to Eldon's market for our food. Telling us about the taxis how they worked the buses and water taxis. Taking time to answer all our questions and showing us things. Francisco we had no complaints at all the home was very clean and you made sure we had enough linens. You explained things very good and was very easy to communicate with from the time we booked our VRBO all the way to the end on our sad day is having to leave. We will be coming back and staying with you Francisco. Even asking what could be done to make our experience better or stay better and like we said only thing was getting a barbecuer. That still didn't make things bad at all. Again Francisco you did a fabulous job. We recommend this home Indago Sands. The only thing that was bad was the sand fleas. OMG they are bad so bring bug spray and of course sun screen. If we could rest this experience higher we would but 5 stars is as high but it's a 10. We will be back 😊

Perfect Vacation Location!

Beautiful view of the pool, beach and water from deck. Ceiling fans in all rooms and air conditioning in both bedrooms. Beautiful Pool which we enjoyed daily. We stayed for a month and are planning on returning next year. Two restaurants with bars on beach are within 5 minute walking from house. The food was great and the people were so friendly. We felt totally safe. The house is about 3 miles from West End. The only thing that could have been better was the pillows.
