Cabana ON THE BEACH - Sandy Bay

Great comfortable home close to everything on the island. Just off the main road, this private beach area is in a resort setting without the crowds. This unit is the closest to the beach in the Sundancer community.
The island style cabana is nestled in a beautifully landscaped jungle canopy setting to keep the home cool and breezy. The beach front includes a private 300 ft pier accessible only by Sundancer guests. The has an upper deck for sunning, and shaded palapa over the water.
Just off the pier to the right is a natural deep water channel that allows larger sea life to come and go., Often seen are eagle rays, turtles, grouper, and large parrot fish. This natural opening is easy for boats to pick you up for fishing, scuba diving, snorkeling and touring.

We are conveniently located in upper Sandy Bay, with grocery stores 5 minutes away. West End is about a 6 minute taxi ride headed west. The airport is 10 - 15 minutes away.
The Salty Mango restaurant is right next door to the east, along with the Blue Island Dive shop on the same property. Lawson's Rock is next door to the west, with a morning cafe, and restaurant. Conrad and Joanna were awesome. Very welcoming, accommodating and quick to respond to any questions we had. Loved the double decker dock. A favorite thing of mine was using the provided hammock to lounge at the end of the super long dock! They also offered snorkeling gear which allowed me to get to the reef and view the amazing water world out there.

Great communication with the owner! This was our first time in Roatan. This was a perfect location to stay on the Island for getting around. Bungalow was within a 100' from the beach! Directions from the airport were spot on. I would definitely stay here again if and when we go back. I want thank Conrad for everything! The host Venessa reached out to us a couple times asking if we needed anything, which is very thoughtful!

Wonderful Stay!

This was our first time visiting Roatan, we had no idea what to expect but were absolutely blown away by how awesome this little island is! The house itself is in a quieter area and there are not many dining options, but taxis were readily available and we had no problems getting around! Wpuld absolutely stay in this home again!

We loved that this was so close to the beach and that we could swim (or rent kayaks) to get out to the reef. The entire team there to support kept the place comfortable. We definitely want to go back!

We really enjoyed our stay in Sandy Beach. The apartment was clean and worked great for our needs. The area is very quiet and peaceful. We really enjoyed watching the sunsets out on the dock.

Another amazing time at Sundancer!

SunDancer is a friendly little community where fellow travelers become friends, and everyone can enjoy fantastic snorkeling off the dock, lounging by the crystal clear pool, and incredible sunsets from the upper deck of the dock! We are repeat visitors, and our host, as always, was attentive to our every need. SunDancer is a tranquil little piece of paradise where you are surrounded by the true flora and fauna of the island.

Title: Perfect Stay Near the Beach & Dive Shop!I recently stayed at this Vrbo in Roatan, and it was an amazing experience! We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was nice and exactly what we needed for our stay. We are active people, so we were only there for sleeping and showering. A little bit further away from west end than we wanted, but was fine. We spent a lot of money in cab fare. The pool was awesome.

Beautiful, quiet little casita.

Perfect little casita for a quiet stay in Roatán. The location is perfect, easy to get to all areas and be away from them when a little rest and relaxation is needed. Diving (Blue Island Divers) is easily accesible from this location. Conrad was extremely helpful with all aspects of our vacation there. He's quick to reply to all questions and provides helpful insight to the planning and coordination. Highly recommend!

Great homebase

The cabana offers the right combination of comfort and convenience. You will be close to some of the island's nicest beaches while benefiting from the property's privacy. We really appreciated that the owner supplied purified water so that was a great amenity. The owner and property manager were extremely attentive and we highly recommend booking with them.

Before arriving on the island, Conrad reached out to give us clear directions, not only to the property we were staying in, but also the grocery store before hand. When we arrived at the property, Maritza, the property manager, met us in the parking area, and showed us all around the property, from the cabana itself, to the pool, laundry room, beach, and dock. Maritza was absolutely fantastic our entire stay!

The experience of staying in the Sundance beach house was nice and comfortable.

The experience was quite good and we will love to come back It would be nice if u have more than one TV in the house and that the TV has more channels than it have now Beside that every was quite good for the experience

Peaceful and relaxing stay

We had a great week long stay at the cabana. Conrad and Vanessa were very responsive and helpful if we had any questions. We traveled with a 12 and 14 year old boy and they had a blast snorkeling the reef that was a short swim from the end of the pier. I recommend buying an inflatable snorkeling buoy from Amazon to bring with you. We bought groceries from Eldon’s on the way to the rental from the airport and cooked in the kitchen. Blue Island Divers is a short walk down the beach and was our main hangout. The cabana was clean, quiet and perfect for our needs. The pool was a bonus! We chose not to rent a car and do not regret it. We were happy to stay in our piece of heaven.

The small community of Sundancer has 16 units. This unit is the closest to the beach. It caters to people who desire privacy and quiet, in a lush tropical garden setting that is well maintained. This unit is newly renovated, with cool ocean breezes, great A/C and internet. This home is close to the pool, and even closer to the beach. Everything is a short cab ride away. But if you want for anything, our property manager is close by.

The locals boast this area as the best snorkeling on the island. The 300 foot dock has 2 levels, and is a popular gathering spot to watch sunsets. Use the steps to dip into the calm waters to swim, or paddle board. You can swim out the reef, where you often see dive boats taking guests out to scuba and snorkel. I also have 2 other units in Sundancer #3B and 11B.
