This private, unique property is minutes from (RTB) airport. Casita Verde is the ground level of a home located on the beach with a large, screened lanai to maximize the comfort of outdoor living. Wake up to breathtaking sea views from the master bedroom and enjoy a private entrance onto the lanai. This 2-bedroom casita sleeps 4 and has everything to make your stay enjoyable and relaxing. The kitchen is fully equipped including an outdoor BBQ grill, 45" Smart TV, free high-speed internet, A/C, and washer/dryer.
The beach is maintained daily, and the sea is part of the Roatan Marine Park preserve, which offers a safe, calm area to explore an underwater ecological paradise. This quiet location includes a private pier available to the Sundancer/Casa Maya community. The pier has an entrance to deeper water, a shaded palapa, and an upper level for watching amazing sunsets.
Explore the Mesoamerican reef where you will enjoy some of the best snorkeling and diving on the island.
The Sundancer pool is a short walk through the lush jungle and is inviting year around. The neighborhood is safe, private and has 24-hour security. Our property manager can arrange airport pick up and drop off if needed for a low fee. She can also suggest or help with itineraries of your choice and can arrange for a private chef.
Located in Sandy Bay, Casita Verde is approximately a 15-minute drive to West Bay and hosts ample tourist shops, restaurants, and bars. We have made arrangements with the Mayan Princess Beach Resort (mayanprincess.com) for you to receive a guest pass to use their magnificent pool and beach area, parking, etc. West Bay is one of the top 10 beaches of the world and is about a 10-minute beach walk from Mayan where you will find upscale restaurants along with beachfront bars and a wide variety of water activity rentals.
Casita Verde is a 5 minute drive to the grocery store, and a short walk along the beach to the Blue Island dive shop or the Lawson Rock cafe.
The island offers endless activities for the adventurous or take advantage of the peaceful, Caribbean Island getaway.

Check-in was easy, we rented a car from Avis which was a smooth process. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to make meals. The blender was poor quality, which was frustrating just because we used it daily to make protein shakes. It was nice to have laundry machines, to be right on the beach and be able to relax on the dock. The mosquitos and sand flies were pretty bad so make sure to wear bug spray. Within 15 min to many good restaurants, a local gym, recreational activities and shopping. The location was great.

Very nice condo right on the beach

Casita Verde is a very nice condo located directly on the beach. The condo seems quit new and is very well equipped. It has everything you need for a great vacation.The area is quiet and secluded. Most of the time we were the only people. T

Perfect location away from the crowds yet close to conveniences

We loved our stay. We wanted to be outside of the West Bay/West End chaos but close enough if we wanted to visit - and this location was ideal. We could go grocery shopping in Coxen Hole 10 minutes away and West End 15 minutes away. Having a home literally on the beach was such a delight. The home and furnishings were in great condition. When there were issues, the property manager promptly provided a solution. The reef was close enough to reach with a vigorous swim to go snorkeling, and a quick walk to Blue Island Divers to go snorkeling or scuba off a boat. The dock was great for a quick swim, snorkel, and enjoying the breeze. The one thing that caught us by surprise was a home being constructed next door. At least the porch setup provided full privacy from the builders, but noise from angle grinders cutting rebar or dust from cutting concrete was a nuisance that often chased us indoors. I imagine the building will continue for some time, and the level of noise/dust may vary considerably depending on the stage of construction. It was unfortunate that another home we wanted to rent the owner specifically informed us about construction next door and we declined to rent that home. Overall, we loved our stay and would choose this property again.

I loved that you are on your own beach. The free passes to the resort was nice. And Vanessa was on point everytime i had a question. Even showed up In person to show us how to use a few things would stay again

A lovely setting for a week of snorkeling. The reef was only 3-400 swimming yards from a great screened porch. The property manager and owners were immediately responsive to questions. It is a place that I would use again in the future.

Relaxation at its best!!

We loved our stay! The screened-in porch looking out over the ocean is amazing. A rental car is convenient but taxis are extremely inexpensive.

Hidden paradise

Stayed at this property for 11 days and it was wonderful. The screened in porch was our favorite place to be. Even though it rained a lot during our stay, we were able to sit on the porch and enjoy looking out at the ocean and playing cards. The kitchen is well stocked with new pots and pans and mostly anything you need to cook, even a rack of spices! There was a power outage during our stay, but there was a flash light on the counter to help locate things. Also, the stove top is gas, so even with the power outage, you could use the gas lighter to cook if needed. The outage only lasted a few hours. Vanessa, the property manager is fantastic and her response time was almost immediate. My only suggesstion is that more storage and more places to hang things is needed in the main bedroom. I would also recommend renting a car to get around the island.

It didn't take us long to fall in love with Roatan. This home has everything we wanted--gorgeous views, plenty of privacy, and a shady beach with excellent snorkeling; all in our front yard! Roatan is very affordable, the people are so friendly and the temperature is perfect year-round.

A shorth walk down the beach is Blue Island Divers where you can dive, snorkel, or deep sea fish. Enjoy a relaxing afternoon with free mimosa's at Serenity Day Spa. Anthony's Key offers a dolphin encounter, snorkeling and diving. Roatan Island Brewing Co. has great craft island beer, excellent food, and fun vibe. Experience the islands beauty at Carambola Botanical Gardens. Hold monkeys and snuggle a sloth at the Mayan Jungle. All these activities and more are within a few miles of Casita Verde.
