A remote paradise!

Moose Cabin is a very cozy, upscale cabin with everything you might have forgotten on hand! The scenery is gorgeous and area is peaceful. Hosts are very accommodating and helpful! We enjoyed our stay immensely!

Great vacation

Owners answered question quickly. The house made us feel at home. Will rent again for sure. Plenty of fish to catch in the pond. Nice and quite area.

Mind Blowing

This place was absolutely amazing. The pictures don't do it justice at all. This place was beautiful. The property manager was very nice and helpful. This cabin was completely stocked with everything you could think of. Very peaceful and relaxing, close to town and the lake. We will definitely be back again. Hands down 5 stars.

Awesome Getaway!

Stayed with my two boys (12 & 9) and we had a great time! Perfect secluded getaway for outdoor lovers! Public beach close by and town only about 15 minutes away. House was very nice and clean. My 9 year old was the fisher winner catching about 25 fish. We caught bass, bluegill and sunfish. All nice size fish! Shooting range was also a lot of fun! Bonfires with s’mores every night. Great time, highly recommended and hope to return again.

Fantastic

Nice remote and new property. We caught a lot of fish. The shooting range was nice and the inside of the house was very clean and well stocked. We will definitely stay again.

Mornings at the Pond, Afternoons at the Range

Large, well equipped house 'off the grid' in the center of nowhere. We watched meteors, caught near trophy-sized fish, and plinked away for hours on the rifle range. HIghly recommended.

Quiet, peaceful and secluded

This property was amazing. Plently of room in the house and outside. Easy check in. Only 20 minutes away from Lake Shelbyville. Cant wait to come back again!

Summer fun

A nice quiet off the road property. A large pond well stocked for fishing for all ages. All the amenities required for a comfortable stay. We stayed 4 nights. It was close to Shelbyville lake and Findlay marina for boat launching and rentals. Would definitely recommend.

Great place!!

We loved staying at Moose Cabin. It was set up perfectly for our family, including my parents. 4 adults and 2 kids. Great place to take some time off from the busy world and relax, fish, eat, and enjoy nature. The place was very clean and we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We will definitely be back and hoping to make it a regular vacation spot for us!

Hidden Gem

Great secluded cabin. Had everything we needed for our stay. It was very cold outside so the fireplace became our bestfriend. Warning read directions closely finding the location can be tricky but one you find this Gem it feels like a second home!

Lovely Cabin in the Woods!

My family loved our weekend at this beautiful cabin! The furnishings were fantastic. There was a pack and play available for our infant. Our older children loved the fire pit, fishing pond, and shooting range (which we used for BB guns). It was a quick trip to go hiking around Lake Shelbyville. We can't wait to go back!

Fall fun

Great time as always. House was clean and I was surprised by the festive fall decorations outside. Made us feel welcomed. Walked through the woods with the kids-make sure to bring a compass and boots. There are no trails. The property bordering on the federal ground was a real plus for us. Really cool time, wish we could have stayed longer!

Awesome getaway!

What a beautiful location and property! Very clean and enjoyable! It did rain a lot one day we were there and the pond flooded quite a bit as well as did the Lane to the property. As a result of the gloomy weather we lost power for a few hours because the solar energy ran out and the owners had turned off the generator so we were without power for a few hours one morning. This wasn’t a huge problem and they were going to rectify it when the solar power kicked back in but just something to be aware of. Overall we loved this cabin!

Built this cabin for my wife and I to have as a little getaway not too far away from home. Wanted to share this cabin with others while we aren't using it so we decided to list is as a vacation rental!
