The Mulberry Trees Apartment at Neofronos Street

The apartment was small and cosy and the presence of museum related framed banners and a bookshelf of books, gave the environment of the apartment an artistic and museology feel. It was equipped with everything that a traveller could use and it was located close to the centre of Athens. Although there were two Metro stations nearby e.g. Megaro Musikis and Evangelismos, for travellers of an advanced age, we found it difficult to walk to these stations. However taxi fares are reasonable and for 4EU you can travel to Syntagma Square. Georgia was very helpful especially in quickly addressing the plumbing issue we experienced. For the business part of my stay, it was very practical, as it was a walking distance to the Australian Embassy.

I love this appartment as it was the very first place I lived as a student, when I moved from Lesvos island to Athens. From September 2017, I decided to manage it as a host through VRBO. Located in Ilissia, a great central Athenian neighborhood in the Hilton area, on a nice, green, safe street, near a big park, the place is ideal for young travelers, couples, businessmen and families with kids.

This cozy sunny apartment, recently renovated and furnished in a mix and match style with contemporary and vintage items, will offer you all the comfort you need. Being an amateur collector I have decorated my new place with stylish objects and works of art that I am sure that will make you feel at home. The apartment has one master bedroom equipped with a king-size bed, a new anatomical mattress and spacious closets. The living room is a pleasant open space that can be completely isolated from the rest of the house with a sliding door. The big sofa easily becomes a king size bed (200x180) that accommodates two more guests, while the vintage secretaire can be a nice work space for you and your laptop... The kitchen is fully equipped so you can prepare and enjoy your breakfast or dinner.
The apartment is a mezzanine in a very safe street (the police headquarters is nearby!). Both rooms have small balconies. Looking through them as well as through the kitchen window, you'll feel being in a park, as there are big mulberry trees alongside the street (in case you wondered why the apartment is called "The mulberry trees"....).
