I want to start by explaining a few of my rating points that were lest than 5 stars.
First, the check in. We gave it a 3 because when we arrived we had not received the information necessary to check in. (codes, etc...) We sent texts, message, and emails, but to avail. This WAS NOT the owner's fault. For some reason, the normally generated message from VRBO didn't go out. We finally found a way to reach out to VRBO directly, and they helped us out. Upon realizing what had happened, the owner responded generously, and immediately, with a gift card to offset our jumbled dinner plans for the evening. For that, we would like to say, "Thank you! That was VERY kind!"
Thus the reason for the 4 star communication with the manager. To be honest...I think I'm going to change to a 5 star right now.
Okay, I'm back. Like I said, once she realized that there had been communication glitches, she went out of her way to make sure that we could stay directly in contact with her.
We had a WONDERFUL time, and we would definitely stay there again. We do think that there are a few more utensils that are necessary to have a fully capable kitchen, and we do have a few thoughts regarding the entryway that we'd like to discuss with the owner, but it was quaint, clean, had a great view, was a short, short walk to a big and roomy beach, and was just beautiful!
