Description
Kas Popchi is a beautiful ocean front villa consisting of two buildings, a mature tropical garden with private pool area and a private beach area, located on the southern part of the island. The design of this beach home offers not only a great deal of privacy, but also great views over the Caribbean sea, which makes this a lovely hidden paradise. Enjoy your vacation at a place where it is just you, lots of palmtrees and the ocean!

This beautiful beach villa consists of two buildings with in the center a private pool. The main building has an open plan living area, an open and fully equipped kitchen, and a master bedroom with en-suite bathroom.

The second building has two large bedrooms with each a private bathroom. The fourth bedroom can be found upstairs which also has a private bathroom. All bedrooms have AC.

When entering the villa, the first thing you will see is the beautiful private pool and a spectaculair ocean view.

Pass the outside shower, follow the steps down to the water and your feet will touch the soft sand and the warm Caribbean waters…. Kas Popchi is one of the few villa’s on Bonaire that has a sandy beach in front of the house! The spacious porches provide lots of shade and with the lovely Bonairian breeze running through, this makes it very comfortable to stay in the villa. For relaxing moments there is an ocean front palapa!

If you enjoy surfing, the villa is close to the best windsurf spot on the island; Sorobon and the kitesurf beach of Atlantis. The airport and other beaches are also near by.

It has never been easier to dive or snorkel; put on your gear, walk into the water from your villa and enjoy everything Bonaire is famous for! Discover the magical underwater world of Bonaire, you have beautiful reefs in front of the house. Wash tank are available for rinsing your dive gear.

This villa will give you the ultimate Caribbean experience with a private beach. Tired of your own beach? Beach club THE BEACH from Windsock is couple of minutes walking distance.

Please note that during the Christmas and New Year period, a minimum stay of 14 nights is required. Should you be interested, feel free to contact us to discuss the options!

House was beautiful. Pool was great. Sandy beach is a huge plus. Showers and bedding are great! Decking is slippery whenever it gets wet. Washing machine and stove are about ready to be replaced. Property is currently for sale so your stay may be interrupted for showings. Overall a great stay!

Amazing villa. Had everything we needed for our week in Bonaire. The management company was VERY helpful and communicative/responsive both leading up to our trip and throughout our stay. Location was convenient to grocery and downtown. The sandy entry in the water was perfect for our group, and snorkeling right from the house was great! Would definitely stay here again and would recommend any QVilla managed properties.

This villa was incredible! The pool and oceanside patio overlooking the ocean was stunning. With a private sandy beach access for snorkeling and diving this is one of the best locations on the island. The rooms were all very comfortable and very clean, each with a private bathroom. The hosts were super friendly and accommodating. They offered to pick up groceries for us so we could start enjoying our vacation and this incredible villa the minute we arrived. We had an issue with a room safe and the host responded immediately, arriving in ten minutes to assist us. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

A house and location

This house is right up against the water with a little private beach in the front. Very spacious with lots of comfortable furniture to overlook the sunsets at night. Eating breakfast out on the patio overlooking the Caribbean is off the charts.. I would definitely recommend this place.

Likely one of the best, if not the best, villa on the island

Great location with direct access via a few steps to the own private sandy patch in front of the villa (it is a unique luxury for any property on the island). Easy snorkelling right in front of the villa; night snorkelling there rewards you with fascinating encounters with huge tarpons. The villa's host Sabine is probably the best property manager we've ever met: she is very attentive, easy to communicate and ready to help if needed. Excellent property, highly recommend.

Great House! Great Location!

Kas Popchi was an excellent place to stay for a week on beautiful Bonaire. All accommodations were as advertised; spacious bedrooms with A/C, great kitchen, pool and numerous outside spaces to relax. Access to a small beach and the ocean is a HUGE. Location is also great; you can get anywhere on the island in 20 minutes. We will return! QVillas was wonderful to deal with throughout the process; from booking to departure with a great arrival greeting and help with numerous questions throughout our stay.

Beautiful property at a great location

My wife and I had a wonderful stay here. The location is fantastic - with direct beach access and fantastic snorkeling right behind the house. We had a minor issue with the outdoor fans upon arrival but Shanna was very responsive and helpful throughout the process. Bedrooms are air conditioned which helped as it was very warm during our stay, but the pool and ocean made it easy to stay cool during the day. Very near everything and easy to get around Bonaire (with a car or scooter). We hope to go back (soon). Highly recommended.

Boaire Kas Popchi Fun

Kas Popchi is a great property to stay at with a small group of friends or family—4-8 people. It's approximately 5 minutes away from the airport, but we rarely heard the planes coming in. It's also really close to many if the dive shops. In addition, there's direct access to the water and it's perfectly situated for diving the wall at the Bachelor's Beach dive site. The Q-Villas management team is really responsive and helpful when you have questions or want to make any sort of arrangements for your stay. Kas Popchi is a location we'd be happy to vacation at again and again.

Scuba diving paradise

I rarely write reviews, but our stay was top notch and Casa Popchi deserves all the accolades others have mentioned. Booking houses can be tricky for my family with three young adults and special meal needs. From scheduling to check in to accommodating special requests, Casper and Femke set the gold standard for service. Best house on the island and best scuba diving with Vanessa and Yago at 4 Wheel Dive. Chef Rob’s delicious meals kept us well fed for days. Overall one of my family’s favorite vacations. We will definitely again return. Thanks to all who made it so special!

Unbelievable

My wife and I and my brother and his wife stayed 7 days here. Everything was perfect. This house is one of a kind. I believe it's the best house on Bonaire if not the entire Caribbean. Walking distance to three restaurants, wonderful restaurants. the beach in front of the house was the best. Snorkeling right in front was amazing. No need to even leave the house. Plan to return.

Wonderful Vacation!

Kas Popchi was incredible. I loved the openness and being so close to the water. The bedroom closest to the water was heavenly. Listening to the ocean waves at night. My only issue was the other bedrooms are able to hear traffic at night if the air isn't on. We are not fans of air-conditioning, so we didn't use it much. I would go back in a heartbeat. The hosts were amazing; from picking us up at the airport to leaving goodies in the frigerator. Thank you so much! It was the perfect vacation!

Amazing Property for our group of 7. A Private Oasis.

This was a beautiful property with excellent beach access. We snorkeled right in front of our villa and could swim to Bachelors Beach, where snorkel tours moor. The property itself is absolutely lovely. Aside from the four large bedrooms there is a nice combination of large and small seating areas, so you could always find a quiet spot or a place to join the group. The kitchen has everything you need. We even used the barbeque to grill the Wahoo that we caught on a fishing charter. The infinity pool is lovely and outdoor shower made it easy to rinse off the sand and salt before relaxing in the pool. We were lucky enough to have rainbows over the water several mornings, and the sound of the waves at night just lulled us to sleep. The property manager was incredibly helpful with shopping, car rental, and reservations. She was always available to help with any questions about the house or the island in general. Don’t hesitate to book Kas Popchi!

Great house a few minor issues

The house is perfect for 3-4 couples. The sandy beach is unique for Bonaire. This alone makes the property desirable. The beach is shared with the neighbors, but wasn't an issue for us. A couple of bathrooms had water leaks which caused the wooden floors to swell. Made it difficult to open a few doors, but they were planning on replacing the floor after our visit. A lot of home construction is going on in the area so plan on getting an early start to the day. The worker's start at first light. Top notch management! Very easy to contact and super helpful. Take advantage the pre-arrival grocery shopping! It's great to arrive to a stocked refrigerator. The welcome basket has plenty of good appetizers for a few days! I would definitely go back to the house again.

Great outdoor living experience.

Very much the Bonaire outdoor living experience. Great location with a private (shared with the neighbor) walk in beach to paddle board float or dive right from the back yard. Easy parking for at least two cars. We made breakfast and lunches at the house and went out to dinner most nights. Pro tip get reservations for dinner: Cuba compagnie, Patagonia, Sebastian’s and Capricio were all restaurants we went to and had a great meal. AC and mosquito nets in the bedrooms made for a restful sleep. Three down stairs bedrooms are all quality rooms that work as a master. We had only two couples and we each stayed in the back bedrooms. A couple highlights for those that read this far. Fishing is good, one guest brought a couple poles and we could fish (catch and release) right off the beach with great results. Fun to watch. The highlight every night was the sunset. We planned our day around the sunset each night and it didn’t disappoint. Seeing the green flash 50% of the time was spectacular. Will be back.

wonderful place to just relax

On the water, close to town, can walk to a couple of restaurants, a great place to just relax. Rental support team (particularly Shanna) very responsive to questions/requests.

A Piece of Paradise!

What a wonderful way to spend our 25th anniversary! Upon arrival at the airport, we were greeted by Femke who is a delight. She led us (in our rental car) to the home which is only 5 minutes away. Although we looked at the website pictures many times, it was a delight to actually see Kas Popchi in person. The gardens are lovely as is the pool area and of course the million dollar view. Absolutely breathtaking! The home and outside areas are tastefully decorated and clean/organized. Kitchen includes everything you' need to cook a meal. A bonus is the tray of homemade local goodies that are waiting for you as well as groceries to tide you over till you can get to the local market. Bedrooms have lots of drawers/cabinets and closets to unpack so you don't feel like you're visiting. Beds are comfortable and all have the mosquito netting necessary at night. Bedrooms have screens only so you can enjoy the sounds of the ocean day and night. Bedrooms and living areas are all super-clean and well-stocked. Cleaning folks come twice during the week and replace towels and bedding - what a treat. Snorkeling/swimming is right in the back yard. It's also nice to watch boats and cruise ships going by. We even saw a pod of dolphins one day. Lots of things to do on Bonaire. We recommend the Donkey Sanctuary, Washington Slaagbai Nat'l Park, renting a sloep at Blue Bay, a massage by Johanna, and kayaking/snorkeling at Lac Bay. Head to Jasmin Garden, At Sea, Bistro de Paris El Bigote and Sebastians for a great meal. Also recommend Van Den Tweel - it's so much fun picking out groceries in another language. Bonaire is a beautiful country full of the friendliest people and Kas Popchi is an extraordinary home with a stunning view. It doesn't get any better than this!

Very Peaceful

The home was very nice, all the utensils and cooking items that we required. We had a maintenance issue which has resulted in the 3 - 4 stars or we would have rated much higher. There was a sewer gas issue which we had to deal with for a number of days and then after several calls to say this was an issue the plumber showed up. We basically could not use the ensuite restroom as the smell was toxic. We were not offered any compensation for our inconvenience. We also found it to not be as private as we had thought since the neighbours share the access to the ocean. It was too large for 2 people and next time I would make sure to ask more questions. The home itself is nice and would consider renting again possibly if had larger group. DId have to tend to some other maintenance issue such as window slats, constant cleaning of Iguana droppings, and plant droppings. The small beach out front is very nice for swimming. The sunsets are beautiful from this property.

A stunning Ocean front Villa

We had a great two week stay at Kas Popchi, the villa is in a stunning position on the ocean front, recently refurbished with first class fixtures and fittings it is a veritable home from home. There is an infinity pool well maintained on a weekly basis and outside the villa there is plenty of comfortable furniture giving you the choice of sun or shade. A ‘Smart’ TV and free internet are available along with a Microwave and American style fridge freezer in a fully equipped kitchen. We also were well looked after by Femke the Property Manager who quickly sorted out any minor problems that occurred. We would without hesitation recommend Kas Popchi as a beautiful and very comfortable place to enjoy your stay in Bonaire.
