As advertised

We enjoyed our stay at Elk Haven. The cabin was clean, well stocked and everything worked. The location is convenient to the town of Custer, yet quiet and it is not uncommon to have deer in the yard. The cabin is also well marked and easy to find.

Perfect Getaway

This home was perfect for what we needed - plenty of space for 4 adults, pet friendly, comfortable beds, full kitchen, and a location that is peaceful and quiet but also close to everything we wanted to see/do - Mt. Rushmore and Crazy Horse Memorials, Sylvan Lake, and Custer State Park to name a few. Also very close to a lot of shops and restaurants in town, which was great to check out when we had some down time. We LOVED getting to sit outside and see quite a bit of wildlife around the home! Everything was perfect. We will hopefully be back again!

Dog Friendly resort

We have a service dog for my husband. This property was the perfect site for all of us. Deer and Turkey in the yard. It was a perfect vacation. Our cabin was spotless. My only suggestion would be directions for using the TV remote.

Great Trip

Amazing!

This cabin had everything you needed! We had the best time in the Hills. We come every year to visit family and this was in the perfect location. It was clean and had the perfect amount of space for all. Highly recommend!

Neat lil cabin. Clean and comfortable. Appreciated the toiletries and common kitchen items. Wish we would have had more time to hang out around the cabin more.

Great stay. Too short

Really enjoyed the quiet setting. Close to town but feels very secluded. Deer in the yard each morning added to the joy of coffee on the porch. Clean, comfortable. Loved it.

Family Vacation

We stayed at the cabin during our family vacation with our four children ages 22 months to 12 years. The rental owners went above and beyond to assist us during our stay (and prior to when we had a little car trouble they were able to recommend a mechanic and a shuttle service if needed but thankfully the mechanic was able to quickly fix our vehicle!) We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Elk Haven!

Great place!

Cabin was just like the pictures. Very clean, lots of towels and the basics you need to cook with. They like spotted cow if your from Wisconsin!!!

Amazing!

We were so close to everything we wanted to see but still had privacy to enjoy scenery! Everything we needed was available in the cottage and the hosts we so helpful and nice to make sure we had everything!

Good Location

The property was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It does have cobblestone steps going to the stairwell to the unit. Although we had no issues ourselves there are other units that would be more appropriate for anyone with mobility issues.

Fantastic Location with Mountain Appeal

This property is exactly what we were looking for. You never know for sure when you book online, but the pictures captured the exterior and interior perfectly. It really made it easy to make our selection when reviewing "pet-friendly" properties. We had our 20 lb. beagle with us and truly enjoyed the remoteness of this location.

Great little cabin!

Check in n out process was easy n convenient! Property Manager checked on us to see if anything needed. Very clean n well stocked kitchen. Took a little time to warm up the cabin but when it did it was very comfortable. Great location close to attractions! Would stay again!
