First impression was 'wow', and it continued to be 'wow'. Wayne met us at the house to walk us through their home, highlighting its features, its nuances, and what it had to offer. We've stayed in several VRBOs, and this is the first time we were able to meet the homeowner. It set a nice tone for a week full of making memories. Oh, and a lovely welcome gift!
Mornings began with a cup of coffee on their deck (choose from a Keurig or traditional pot), followed by Door peninsula activities, and always ended with a beverage on their deck or patio watching the spectacular sunsets.
The home is well equipped with everything and felt very much like home. Plenty of extra sheets for air mattresses or the pull out sofa bed, kitchen well stocked with supplies, several activities/games (ping pong, bags, washers, fire pit), nice layout of bedrooms on opposite ends of the home, located along a quieter road that allowed for biking, running, walking, etc.
The home was perfect for a family of 10 that included grandparents, two adult children and their respective families. Plenty of space.
I recommend this home with no reservation and I am very glad we stayed here. Thank you Gail and Wayne, you were wonderful hosts!
