1976年に建てられたこのフランクロイドライトの見習いの家は、30エーカーの広葉樹林に広がるウィスコンシン川渓谷の丘陵地帯に建ち、元の草原が復元されました。 オープンフロアプランのリビングルーム、ダイニングルーム、キッチン（高さ18フィートの天井、天窓、ヴィンテージの薪ストーブ）。 下の池を見下ろすようにスライドガラスのドアが木に吊り下げられた400平方フィートのデッキに開きます。 最近改装されたキッチンとバスルーム。 ガスレンジ、フルサイズの冷蔵庫、電子レンジ、食器洗い機、品揃えの豊富なパントリー付きのキッチン。 屋外ガスグリル2ベッドルーム、各部屋にクイーンサイズベッドとフルバス広々としたクローゼット、リネン、タオル。
スプリンググリーンとドッジヴィルの中間。 アメリカンプレーヤーズシアター、スプリンググリーンのダウンタウン、フランクロイドライトのタリエシンまで約12マイル。マディソンまで50マイル。

This was one of the best Vrbo homes we have ever stayed in. The inside & it’s furnishings are beautiful. It’s fully stocked with many items you don’t normally find in a rental. The deck is gorgeous & transports you to the middle of the woods. We had a wonderful stay and recommend this home highly. Thank you once again to Phyllis our host.

Rented this for a weekend for two couples attending shows at American Players Theater, and it was perfect for our needs! Clean, comfortable, well stocked kitchen. Lovely surroundings. Phyllis was responsive and helpful and the process was very clear. Would stay again and highly recommend!

Had a great time spending the weekend at this cabin. It is a cool place to stay if you are visiting the FLW sites in spring green or House on the Rock. The space was clean and looked even better in person I would say.

What a fabulous place to stay! The home is beautiful, comfortable, and inviting. The area is absolutely gorgeous, and there are many things to do nearby. The best part was being able to sit out on the large deck and feel like we were part of nature. The host was incredibly responsive and took care of all our needs. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful and peaceful place to stay. Very comfortable beds and cozy blankets to curl up with and watch a movie on the couch. I loved the art, photos, and books that were in every room. Also had whatever kitchen ware you need to make a meal. Makes you feel like your at the family cabin instead of a rental. Made for a lovely visit to Spring Green area to enjoy a play at APT. I want to come back when it's cooler to try the beautiful woodstove fireplace.

Beautiful cabin in the woods with family history. It was lit up for us, late arrival. The bird feeder and wildlife were very entertaining. Awesome, highly recommend if you are in the Spring Green area.

Phyllis was a wonderful host. She communicated from the beginning of the booking process until after check-out. The property was beautiful and the home had everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed watching the birds and the crazy antics of the early morning squirrels. We would definitely stay again.

Clean, modernized but still rustic cabin in the middle of nature! My kids had a great time watching birds in the morning…we may have convinced them to be EXTRA quiet to see the best ones . Overall a great week in nature! Thank you for the lovely place to stay!

オーナー : Phyllis Dyer

This property has been in our family since 1975 when Gene and Elizabeth Stirling bought 30 woodland acres and hired Frank Lloyd Wright apprentice Frank Leach to build them this retirement/summer home. Elizabeth’s son Christopher, Phyllis’s husband, along with many local friends, helped with the construction. Once the house was completed Elizabeth filled it with furniture and décor from her world travels. Her grandchildren came from all over the country to spend their summers here. Christopher built his own family home on the property,
up the hill, in 1979.
Over the years four generations have lived in this house at different times- including a Taliesin tour guide, Spring Green General Store owners, an editor of the Home News and an American Players Theatre actor. In 2012 Phyllis moved in following Christopher’s passing. She and her son and his wife- an Interior Designer- did extensive renovations to the bathrooms, kitchen and floors.
And now Phyllis welcomes her own children and grandchildren who travel cross-country to spend time here every summer.
