There is so much outdoor space, from the large ground level deck to the lakeside yard, 100 feet of sandy frontage and awesome sunsets. We tried to set up the home to be ideal for large groups. From our time as renters we knew having two fridges in the kitchen would be so nice. Solid surface counter tops, Kitchenaid dishwasher, garbage disposal, and lots of space make this kitchen the nicest one around. We intentionally avoided bunk beds. Other homes sleep as many people as our lake home, but they do so by putting bunk beds in every room. Here, all bedrooms and the loft feature unique and beautiful log beds.
The bathrooms are very spacious, not typical of most lake homes.
We added a game room to entertain all ages, and our guests love it. We are most proud of the custom bedroom and bathroom in the lower level. From our years of renting with family and friends, we learned that the kids all wanted to sleep in one room together. This room sleeps NINE comfortably and the decor is beautiful. The thick slab live edge pine boards we used to make the beds are repurposed shelves from the bar at a local steak house that went out of business, and the steps for the ladders are the actual steps from the playground slide where my dad went to elementary school! The bathroom is a wonderful mix of rustic and modern styling, and for your comfort includes special touches like heated floors, night lighting, heater fan, and heated toilet seat.
We are always adding and improving. We really want our guests to be impressed!
