Relaxing atay

Check-in was easy and we were gifted an early entry on a hot day, allowing for more enjoyment.Turn off to road is a quick one,however Dieder provides accurate details.Kitchen had more than enough cookware and dishware. Bed was comfortable and we had plenty of space both outdoors and inside.

Keuka lake

Very comfortable home in a perfect location! Everything was very clean and the kitchen had all you could need. The house has a beautiful outdoor door area with very easy access for kayaking. Near town and all the wineries!

Exactly What I Needed!

I just came back from a wonderful stay in this cozy home. First impressions were fantastic - long, private driveway (not right on the road as are so many lake houses), easy parking, and the main room was larger than I expected. A few steps off the deck, then 4-5 more from the yard and you are ON the lake. Easy peasy. Dock is comfortable and firm, great for hanging out. Back in the house, bedding is comfortable, kitchen is well-stocked, and the couch is comfy. I will hopefully be staying again!

Cute lakeside cottage

The cottage was clean and conveniently located with the extra bonus of being right on the lake! The owners were very easy to communicate with and provided a lot of great information (i.e.their favorite restaurants) prior to the trip. Great little cottage!

Fantastic stay!

The cottage was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. The view from the great room and deck was so beautiful! The beach, also, has beautiful views and was so relaxing listening to the waves. The water is crystal clear, sunsets beautiful, and so many stars at night. There is a great fire pit right on the beach. We had several camp fires and was great for making s'mores.

Very Nice Overall

Excellent location. Had beautiful views of Keuka Lake. Close to town if you need to shop for food or get some supplies at the dollar stores. Pier well maintained. (We would have enjoyed it more if the weather cooperated!). Very clean and well maintained outside and inside. We had no need to contact the owners when we were there, mainly because they answered all of our questions promptly when we messaged them. Gave a four star overall rating instead of five because of the comfort of the beds. They would have been fine if we were a younger family under the age of 45, but we are older and found the beds too hard for us. If you are 60+, would recommend bringing a foam mattress or something similar to add to the comfort of the beds.. With that in mind, we would definitely consider using this property again in the future..

A nice getaway

We had a wonderful stay here! The house was very clean. It was stocked with every cookware you could need. It was a nice, quiet neighborhood. The lake was absolutely beautiful. Our host was more than accommodating and quick to answer any questions. I will recommend this place over and over!!!!!!!

Great Location on a Great Lake

The place was perfect for what we wanted for our vacation. The size worked well for the two of us, it was lake-side with very easy access to the lake, and it was not located right on the highway. The lake had crystal clear water and successful fishing. The sunsets were spectacular. We used the rowboat several times. The rowboat could be improved with properly functioning oarlocks and wooden oars. The rubber handles on the current oars required gloves to use them. We were very happy with our choice to stay here. It was centrally located near everything we wanted to do.

Nice getaway

We had really nice time! Location is great, but water still was cold for swimming. We have to go back again later in the summer to enjoy swimming. But kayaking, boating and fishing were great 😊 We definitely will go back again.

Comfortable but definitely not fancy

We were a group of 60ish girlfriends. We had a great time catching up around the campfire. Lovely lake access and views. A little weird relaxing while the hosts and their kids worked on outdoor projects around us.

Quick escape

This property is beautiful! The lake views were great and it's a nice quiet property. My 3 kids had a great time on the playground in the property as well as the beach. The waters a great depth for little ones! They wished the fish were biting better though. I also didn't realize there was no ac in the bedrooms but fortunately it was a cool week. We truly enjoyed all of the little mom and pop eateries in the area and were amazed to find so many gluten free options for my celiac daughter! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Beautiful Location

Beautiful Location for a quick visit for a friend's wedding. Wish we had more time at the VRBO and in the area because there was so much to explore. The lakefront is definitely worth it and if we were there longer I would have absolutely had a fire in the fire pit. Dieder was a fantastic host with a great sense of humor. Cons: the mattress on the pullout is old and I'd recommend (if staying a long time) you bring a foam pad or mattress pad. Also, minute issue, but I wish I had known to bring a sponge and dish soap so we could have properly cleaned dishes a little better!

Great lakeside location on crystal clear part of Keuka Lake

Excellent location with large dock with crystal clear water on Keuka Lake. Very clean home with large family room and large back porch. AC included for warmer days. Great for families and also very close to the town of Penn Yann which has plenty of retail and dining options.

My family has owned this cottage since the 1970s. We began renting it in the mid-1980s. Since then we have met many wonderful people. Most of our weeks are rented each year by repeat customers but there are still some left for this year. Come and meet us!
