Heaven in Rockwood, Maine

What a lovely home to spend 5 days in. The place was spotless, comfortable, and inviting. Every thing that we could possibly want was there. We even had a visit from the owner with lettuce from his garden. Sunsets were amazing, nighttime campfires so relaxing. TY for a wonderful vacation!!!!

The house was very clean but the furniture was not very comfortable. They had a very small loveseat two old chairs and wooden chairs so we looked forward to bed because that was the only place to lay back and relax. The property

Cute home

The furniture is not comfortable with only a love seat and two old chairs along with the wooden chairs around the table. The beach is all rock and you won’t be able to go into the water

Wow! I didn’t want to leave!

My family of 6 stayed here for 5 days and it was not enough time. The house is stunning and it came equipped with everything we needed. The view of the lake was stunning! We enjoyed the fire pit, kayaking (we brought our own), and the Greenville area. Highly recommend and we will be back! Thank you!

Wow, very hard to leave!

Beautiful, spacious, clean, well cared for home on peaceful, quiet lake Brassau. Family of 6; we all felt welcome, at home, safe, and were able to enjoy all the amenities - fire pit, hammock, games, canoes, etc. The owners have definitely thought about all of the items one needs to feel like home away from home. It was hard to leave; we will be back. Highly recommend!!

Perfect Hidden Gem

The house, lake and owners next door are a perfect Maine dream! Peaceful, private and relaxing property. My husband and I celebrated our anniversary with our 7 year old dog for about a week at this gorgeous retreat. Vacasa is not a Maine based company so there was a little incorrect information provided from their Oregon office but nothing too major to ruin our amazing trip. The beach is rocky not sandy, FYI, so bring water shoes. The fire pit outside is a real fire pit needing firewood (not propane as stated). We would definitely recommend and we will definitely return!

Amazing Family Vacation

The family and I had an awesome time at Partridge Road Retreat! We swam and fished and kayaked and relaxed by the fire. The kids are already asking if we can go back! Thank you to the local team for preparing the home for our arrival and to the hospitable owners who checked on us to ensure we had everything we needed. It was all just perfect! We'll be back for sure!!

Perfect Maine Family Vacation

This was our second time staying for a week at the cabin. The house was fully stocked and very clean. The backyard is a beautiful oasis whether you enjoy swimming, canoeing, or relaxing in the hammock. We are already looking forward to next summer!

Wonderful experience

Our family had an absolutely wonderful time here. Lounging in the hammocks, or riding the canoe across that big lake, house had everything we needed for a nice quiet week. Owner lives a house away and were very pleasant, we had a few questions and he was happy to help out. Highly recommend! Will return!

Brassua Lake’s Biggest Secret

This is the second time our family has been to this cabin. We just love the area and this house. The lake is so quiet and secluded. We feel like Brassua Lake is one of Maine’s biggest secrets because there is nobody on the water. If you’re looking for a peaceful, relaxing get away this is the place. The home was spotless and equipped with necessary items. The owners are very nice and responsive. We will definitely be returning!

Our family had a WONDERFUL time at the Partridge Road Retreat!

Plenty of room (and more to spare) with our family of five: 2 adults and 3 children (ages 3, 8, 10). The lake house was clean and well taken care of inside. Essentials like dishwashing pods, laundry soap, paper products, towels, and shower toiletries were stocked for us. We loved the wood beams and open floor plan. Our youngest loved the outdoorsy décor, especially the moose in one of the bedrooms! The property was gorgeous as well. Plenty of space to park and a huge yard to enjoy. We arrived during a snowstorm, but the property owners made sure to have the drive & walkways clear for us. We used the fire pit, which offers an unmatched view of the lake and mountains. We also played board games on the kitchen table and loved hanging out on the comfy sectional couch. The property owners live next door; they are very friendly and made sure everything went well with our visit. We felt very welcomed! We would have loved to stay longer, maybe forever! We’ll be back to this beautiful place; it was the perfect spot to rest and recharge.

Beautiful Brassua Lake

We stayed during the kid's mid-winter break and had a great time. Easy access to snowmobile trails and ice fishing were the big ticket items for us. The posting says WiFi can be problematic, we had zero issues with 3 kids doing their thing and we could stream a movie at the same time. The air hockey table needs to be replaced, it's beat up and very unstable. The water heater cannot keep up with the fill rate of the Jacuzzi. Better communication from the host prior to and during our stay would have made for a better review. Pretty sure Vacasa is mostly AI driven rather than actual human beings, keep this in mind when booking.
