Other than a small snafu with the cabin not being clean when we checked in (the owner took care of it), this is a great place to stay! The views are breathtaking, there is enough space for everyone to spread out, the pool table/gaming table/hot tube were super fun, and the beds slept super comfortably.
The only (tiny) issues I had:
1. I am a cook and some of the bakeware was lacking (baking sheet, muffin pan, more 9x13 pans) and also some pieces really could've stood a deep clean. (So could some of the silverware.) BUT, I realize, too, that this is a 'home-away-from-home' place and the owners can't possibly cater to everyone.
2. All TVs in the cabin are not created equally. On the main floor great room, the only options to watch were apps (YouTube, Netflix, etc.), no channel guide/local tv. But the bedroom on the main floor did have channels to watch (no guide to see where you're going). Other TVs did have channel guides and were easily accessible. Now, of course we didn't come to the mountains for Thanksgiving week to watch TV, BUT, when you are in the kitchen on Thanksgiving preparing the meal, it would've been nice to turn the main floor TV on to our traditional Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade and the Dog Show but were unable to. Anytime we wanted to watch TV, and not apps, we had to go to different floors. Again, MINOR issue.
3. I don't think the garbage bins outside are checked very often. I would love to blame it on a holiday week, but it was full from the minute we got there. And as far as I could see, there were no dumpsters on site. I had to take our garbage off a time or two.
Other than these VERY minor issues and the place needing a deepclean, I would totally stay here again. It's an awesome place for a big crew!
