CLEANING
-CLEAN BED PROMISE: Padre Escapes launders our standardized linen, including every comforter, every sheet, every pillowcase, every towel - EVERY TIME!
-After each stay we replace all towels and linens from our 6100SF laundry facility where they are washed in temps of at least 60sC/140sF, exceeding CDC recommendations.
-Every property is stocked with bath towels and washcloths for the maximum occupancy of the property, along with one hand towel per bathroom.
-These starter amenities are provided for your convenience until you can go shopping and are not replenished during your stay: hand/bath soap, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, trash bags, and a sponge.
-We inspect every property to make sure it is up to standard and ready for your arrival.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
-A two-night minimum stay is required.
-A signed Rental Agreement is required prior to check in. Contracting guests of Padre Escapes must be 25 years of age or older and have a valid State Driver’s License or other acceptable ID. The ID must match the guest’s name on the reservation.
-NOT PET FRIENDLY.

Check twice

Is a good location, but bring your soap and keep your stuff off the floor. No access to clothes washer, and the dishes were dirty in the drawers. Talked to manager to let them know there were dead roaches in the living and bed room when we arrived. More the next day dying, they offered to send maintenance and housekeeping, we told him we would do our own dishes and didnt want spraying around the kids. Two of the sliding doors would not lock and the wife was uncomfortable the whole stay. Emailed the manager after the trip let them know I would have to leave them in unfavorable review and they just said we strive to have a five star experience, it felt like it was normal complaint. More like motel six, It was somewhere to sleep, but not for the price hopefully it was just us and they fixed the place.

Cold air, comfy beds

Don’t expect luxury but it’s clean, AC is cold & the beds are comfortable. Kind of expected more than thrift shop decor at this price but it was comfortable.

There are a few things such as boat slip is stated as first come first serve in the description, however some of them were marked as reserved for specific units. Property was clean and comfortable. Also furniture in the living room is a little different from pictures and now includes a day bed rather than the 2 green chairs which is not necessarily a bad thing. Finally, we were a family of 4 and stayed for 6 nights, so more than 4 bath towels would have been preferable. Communication with the management company was very good. The complex was quiet and we enjoyed our stay.

Cute but needs attention.

The location was great, however The property manager failed to give me the entry code, I had to call 3 different numbers (and email) before I finally got ahold of someone to send us the door code. The condo was cute, and fairly clean but was the worst stocked rental I have ever been in. There weren't ANY extra linens, not even an extra blanket. We had pillows without pillowcases, and 1 extra towel. The mattresses were both extremely hard, and the beds were creaky and felt like they were going to collapse or tip. I ended up on the day bed covered with my beach towel because the bed sucked and there weren't any extra blankets. The cookware was minimal, and cheap. I don't know if the owner has any idea of the condition, or if the property manager is just failing to take care of the unit.

Relaxing stay

Property is as described. Location is convenient to the beach as well as nearby restaurants and shopping. The condo is roomy and comfortable. The sliding door from the living room to the balcony needs a little work to make it slide more smoothly. Two full bathrooms (one for each bedroom) is a nice feature. I suggest including your customer service or property mgr phone number in the same text you send with the door entry code. (Our code stopped working and my wife was locked out for 45 mins as I was away and all she had was the entry code text I shared with her but there was no number to call.)

Master bathroom needs to have the tub cleaned a little better inside the jets. Had to have maintenance come out to open air vents, they came out very quickly. Someone left the light on in the laundry room and it shines right in the guest bedroom bed faces. All and all good rental.

Perfect home base for our ocean adventure.

Super easy communications for renting and check-in. We received texts for reminders and extending our stay (one day at beginning and one day at end). Great location for what we needed. My brother wanted to fish every moment he could. My wife wanted to play in the ocean. My sister-in-law wanted to walk the beaches looking for shells. We all got what we needed.

The canal allowed us to tie out our lily pad float and soak up the sun. Cute decor, and they had everything we needed. The one drawback: the beds are horrible! They squeaked every time I rolled over, and the mattress was super thin and cheap. Good thing we were exhausted from playing all day, so we fell right to sleep.

I spent a lot of money so if there is a garage it should be available to the guest

The swimming pool is not heated so very cold in February. For us it was too far away from the main beach of Corpus Christi. We took our bikes but main roads are very busy all the time for feeling safe on a bike. We had foggy, cold and overcast weather for most of our stay. We intend to stay for a month but came home one week early. I would not return to Corpus Christi bless it was in the summer time.

Complex was peaceful and quiet. Unit was clean, cozy and comfy. Great time for the family. Road inside complex needs to be re-paved and pool is/was closed on Monday. Not complaining, just saying. We hope to be back next year.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location, scenery, and room accommodation was very nice. Front office was/is very bad, and I’m sorry to say that. No timely response to any questions via email. Do not ask questions by email. Check in is at 4pm and we didn’t get access until 420pm, after contacting them twice. Finally, water was shut off for an hour and a half, with no warning. Luckily no one was in a middle of a shower lol. Would I stay here again? I think I would and knowing what I know now, it will help in the future.
