This condo met all our needs and more. Great location, amazing views and very clean. We enjoyed time on the the balcony, bird watching and a littlefishing. The only negative was the bed in the third bedroom needs a new mattress.

We love this unit, second time we have stayed here. It suits all of our needs. Very clean, convenient and comfortable. We can easily drive to Port Aransas, Mustang Island State Park, Snoopy’s and also drive to the city to meet old friends. The only thing that we might criticize, but more of a worry. The refrigerator runs very loud sometimes and you have to close the bedroom doors and talk loudly while it is rumbling. For some reason, if you open the freezer door and close it again it will quiet down.

Lovely condo and great location. We had issues with internet, but I called and they were able to come by and get us going again. The kitchen is well stocked including a blender and small crock-pot. A couple of issues kept it from being five star for us. One was the dining table which would not latch down and popped up in the middle if you pushed on it. The side tables in the main bedroom were very small. There was not a lot of room to put your night things next to the bed because the tables were so small and the lamps were so large. The other problem was the drapes in the main bedroom are overly long and drag on the floor which made it a bit of a tripping hazard for us elderly folk. Other than those few minor issues we had a great stay and really enjoyed our time together as a family!

Nice place

Four old men fishing for a couple of days. The unit was in great condition and convenient location. The 4th bed is a trundle, took a while to figure that out. Overall a great stay, and would go back.

Great stay at waterfront condo

The condo was exactly as described. We enjoyed fishing off the dock and eating at local restaurants. We have stayed at this condo complex previously and enjoyed it both times. This condo was much nicer than the previous condo. We would definitely stay at this unit again. It was clean, spacious, strong wifi for streaming movies. We had no complaints, great place to stay.

Beautiful place to stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this location. The condo is open, bright and spacious. It is nice having everything on one level (after coming up the outside stairs) for my 82 year old Mom (still very spry). It was very clean and the views from the deck, both sunrise and sunset, are amazing. We have a lovely stay and were able to go to Port Aransas, Mustang Island State Park and our favorite restaurant, Snoopy's Pier very easily. We also had a lot of fun putt putt golfing nearby at Treasure Island, (do the challenge course side, it's more fun). Thank you so much!

Great place to get away.

House was clean and spacious. Pleasant view from patio overlooking the bay. Has multiple docks out back for fishing and docking boat, first come basis. Rooms where nice beds very comfortable. Kitchen has what you need to cook your meals. Location is close to beach, stores, food, etc. Has washer and dryer inside if needed. Great place for family and friends to come and relax. Will recommend to others.

Reviewer Comments: My experience is always great when I book with padre escapes the condo faced the packery channel and intercoastal waterway. spectacular sunsets, lots of birds to watch and fishing off one of the docks always makes my stay worthwhile. The condos here thru this agency are always clean and well taken care of. I love that they place a sheet of instructions with dishwasher tabs and extra trash bags everything is so organized. I always know what to expect. Hats off to Padre Escapes y'all, they provide the best experience, hands down your my #one people to go with when I come to the island.

Reviewer Comments: One of the worst experiences I’ve had at this complex and Padre Escapes. I have booked this complex and used Padre Escapes the last 8 years. This unit had an ant problem and it wasn’t resolved. We checked in and there were ants all over the counter and sink, all along the walls, coming out of the stovetop clock, it was unbelievable . There was still stuff stuck to counters and the stove top, toothbrush still at the top of the bathroom mirror, dirt all over the floor. The cleaning service was terrible. I reached out to padre escapes about the ants, I took the cleaning upon myself. they did send the maintenance man, he had a bug spray with him but I didn’t want him spraying the floor/counters with it because we had a baby in there and also food on the counter and the ants were not on the floor it was the counter tops and above which was odd. So he left, and they were supposed to find another solution. We ended up leaving early because they eventually started coming up the bathroom sinks. It was too much. I didn’t hear back from Padre escapes until the next afternoon when I called to tell them we left. No refund or anything which is fine. I told them to get an exterminator in there. They made it seem like it wasn’t a big deal because the unit wasn’t “covered”, but any kind of pest is a big deal - I can handle a few, but this was hundreds of them, especially when you’re a guest in someone’s home. Not a good experience and will not be back or book with them. Hope it is resolved for the next guest.
