Well, here is the honest truth (the good, the bad, and the ugly) about this Vrbo Rental in Waikiki:The Good: Fantastic view of Waikiki and of the beaches from a distance. Great location within walking distance of Waikiki beach, great restaurants and parking at Ala Wai Boat Habor Parking lot. Air conditioning does keep room cool. Regrigerator is small in one room but it functions well and freezes water in bottles. The Bad: Noisy location where you can hear traffic and sirens even though you're on the 38th floor. Noisy air conditioner in room. Very tight space in the room and no space for clothes storage. Limited lighting in main room. Burnt out light bulb in bathroom with very poor lighting. The Ugly: Must pull shower valve out with a lot of force to get water to flow. Shower very tight space with plastic curtain. Mirror has damaged areas around the edges. Vent fan in bathroom is dirty, noisy, and does not remove steam from bathroom. Body wash container in shower unusable – can't extract any body wash liquid. Caulking around shower stall was quite messy and very poorly done – obviously not done by a professional. The room with an oven, has a very old stove with electric burner elements – this should be tossed in the dumpster!Overall, although we were pleased with the location in Waikiki, we regretted booking this Vrbo rental because the room was too small, noisy, and not “renovated” in a professional manner. I do not recommend this one.
