Perfect for our Family

We LOVED the house and the community of cottages at Romar. Easy walk to the beach or the pool. The house was spacious and perfect for the 7 of us! Kitchen was a good size for several work at the same time. Property Mgmt was attentive when needed. Would aSuggest updating the outdoor furniture and shades in the house downstairs . Look great, wear and tear is reducing its functionality. We are definitely returning next year!

Great Home in Cottages at Romar

This was our first year staying in this beach home. It was clean and spacious for our family group of 10 (6 adults, 4 children). The kitchen was a great size allowing for several people to be in there at one time. Bedrooms were spacious and each had its own bathroom. Also, a powder bath off of the main area downstairs was very convenient. Kitchen was adequately equipped with 2 coffee makers (regular and keurig), blender, electric can opener, and toaster oven. Dishes, flatware and glassware served our family well, but one minor complaint was there were not enough small bowls for cereal, etc. All appliances seemed to be in good working order. Washer and dryer are located in a spacious laundry room upstairs and worked great. There is an additional icemaker machine in the small bar area which was great for filling coolers. Porch area has regular seating as well as a nice table for 6 for outdoor dining. We have stayed in this beach neighborhood complex for the past five years and love the location, pool amenities, and convenience to the beach. We will definitely be staying in "Boondocks" house again!

Comfy!

We love these homes in here. Comfy for the family! I think it would make this home even better if they upgraded to walk in showers vs tub showers. Elevator is extremely handy!

Fantastic Family Stay!

This was a wonderful home that met and surpassed all of our needs! From generous living spaces to a well equipped kitchen to beautiful back porch living - this property accommodated our 3 families well and allowed us to enjoy a week at the beach together! We were able to cook all our meals, do our laundry and house & meet the needs of people from age 1 to age 85. Not only did we love the place but we also appreciated the great property management! When we first arrived, the air wasn’t working in the upstairs and Pricket Properties immediately had someone out to fix it (despite it being a Sunday). What a great place to get away and enjoy some family time together at the beach!!

Perfect location for family

Great location close to multiple restaurants and shopping venues. Because we like to go during Mardi Gras we can see parades right down the street.

Boonedocks for the win!

The Cottages at Romar is a great property for a getaway to the beach. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this complex and our specific house (Boonedocks) to anyone! It was clean, secure and had many nice touches. There was a little TLC and minor repairs needed, but nothing that would stop us from enjoying our stay! Thank you for a lovely vacation!

Fall Break Getaway

The house was amazing. Location was a dream. 2 min walk to the beach and beautiful pool right outside our doors. We could watch the kids swim from our beautiful balcony. Tons of great restaurants with a 2-5 min drive. Not one complaint. We had amazing time and will book here again. Perfect location!!

Perfect Vacation Experience

The cottage was absolutely perfect, spacious and beautiful. The balconies overlooking the pool and beautifully landscaped grounds were one of the many highlights. The beach was so convenient and just steps away from the home. I would definitely recommend and can’t wait to return.

Loved Boonedicks beach house! House was spacious and was perfect for our family of ten. Proximity to pool and beach was great! We did have issues with the washing machine staining some of our clothes and ceiling fan in one of the bedrooms not working. Also, cushions on balcony furniture need to be cleaned. Overall enjoyed our week!

Awesome!

We had a fabulous vacation. 6 adults, 1 teen, 2 little ones. The house was perfect for our group. Plenty of space for all of us and our stuff. Maintenance was needed for the dryer and fortunately we were able to get it repaired during our stay. It was definitely needed with 2 small children. Everything else about the house was ideal. We would definitely stay there again.
