Excellent location, short walk to Brennecke’s beach! The closet was stocked with beach accessories. The pool area was beautiful and overlooks Brennecke’s as well. The unit was very clean and check in and check out were very smooth. There was a lovely welcome basket on the table at check in : )We found that the dryer did not dry our clothes/towels well at all despite trying multiple cycles (yes, the lint trap was clean), and the fridge had cold spots that froze and ruined produce, so be cautious using those. There’s no air conditioning, so the loft does get quite hot even with multiple fans running and windows open overnight.

Location, location, location. You are within a short walk to Poipu Beach where turtles lay through out the day and it's a great snorkeling spot. We loved the pools and grills on property as well and this unit had all the amenities you need. No AC wasn't a problem for our family from WI. We were a quick text message away from anything that we needed. We loved our time here. Would recommend.

Beautiful and unique home, well-maintained despite its age and high usage. Well stocked with beach gear (umbrella, cooler, toys, etc). Kitchen was missing many eating utensils (only had 2 forks) but was otherwise very functional. Ample linens, bath towels, and beach towels. Very easy walk to pool and Poipu beach! Location was perfect. The pool is stunning.Biggest complaint: it is SO HOT. Every room had a ceiling fan and extra floor fans, but it was not enough. The upstairs loft felt like a sauna and the kids were super uncomfortable. We left all doors and windows open at night for air circulation, but we were advised by the HOA not to do this. We were prepared for no AC, but we did not expect this heat. Other than this we had a lovely stay

Great Poipu condo!!

This condo was in an amazing spot on the island. You were a 3 minute walk from the beach, snorkeling, beachcombing, 5 minute walk to many restaurants and a great coastal hiking trail. The kitchen lots of amenities so you can cook your own food. One bad part is that the kitchen only had 2 forks so we had to get some plastic ones. There is no AC in this condo, but if you open up the windows and doors it is very pleasant. Overall, it's a great condo and will book this condo again in the future!!

Weather the best, location great, unit needs refresh/maint., management the worst

Have been going to Kauai for years now and love it. We were happy to find this unit for our stay date. We swallowed hard + paid the price after looking at all the management add on fees. The payment check in process was smooth as was the arrival check in. Had a msg prior to arrival that electrical service work was being done at the resort during our stay + the power would be off for a large portion of a day so a day rental would be refunded which was fair. We went into the unit + we could see the unit needed a reno and basic maint. and thorough indepth cleaning. We could see spider webs in the corners of various windows/walls with dead insects. Bar stools at the kitchen island were very dirty+ stained+ in disrepair, dangerous to sit on. There were window blinds that were missing, other blinds were non-functional. the fridge, a replacement, white, was stained + looked terrible. In moving to the Lanai it was plain to see it had not been cleaned for months as the cobwebs, bird excrement was extreme. we spent the most of the first day trying to bring the unit to a level we could feel comfortable with after going out and buy cleaning products. we attempted to clean the lanai but the outside hose was in disrepair and not usable for the whole trip. We advised MGR VACASA and little was done even after their cleaner arrived. We have seen been ghosted by VACASA in our attempts for compensation for the poor cleaning/maint. of the unit. Stay away from anything mang. by VACASA!

Location and amenities at this place are awesome! Beach chairs and a cooler as well as a beach a short walk away with 🐢! Only downside was at night without A/C got alittle sweaty.

Very adequate

It worked just fine for us. We had kids in our group who loved that there was a clean pool on site. Walking to beach and to Hyatt hotel (where we were attending an event) was easy and convenient. The sofa bed in the living room is not comfortable, but the other beds were great. It was clean, as was the condo complex it is in.

Great Location, Burning Hot

The location of the property was excellent. Very short walk to the beach, pool, and food. Awesome location. What was not awesome was how hot the Condo was all day and night long. There is no Air Conditioning. I am not sure if the listing specifically noted this. We are from Arizona so we are used to the heat, but this was unbearable. Our first purchase on the island was a $450 portable air conditioner (which did not help). We had 3 kids with us, so this just made it more difficult. We asked for a transfer to another location and just got response text messages from the manager noting they their call volume is high. We did not want to be at the condo and would ride in the van to get a break from the heat...it made our trip pretty miserable. We tried cooking there once, but the heat in the kitchen was too much. Also, the condo pool is very nice and clean with a great view of the ocean (much better than shown on the photos). But...the condo has many senior residents who do not like the short-term renters. They are not nice and do not like you there, so it was not fun there with our kids because they kept giving us bad looks and staring at us. Also, the furniture and overall décor is very dated with lots of stains and scuff marks. The place could use a good cleaning and overhaul. The place did include lots of beach toys, chairs, towels, etc. That was very nice. The dryer did not really dry anything, so it took 3+ cycles to have the towels dry.

Perfect for our family of 5

Perfect space for our family. Plenty of room to spread out and tons of towels and everything else we needed to make our stay comfortable. We loved the private patio space and location to the beaches. We didn't want to leave. The pool was also super close and fun to visit after a long day on the beach. So glad this home was available for our vacation!

Good stay, amazing location!

My family and I had a great stay at this property! The location can’t be beat, just a short walk to the beach and pool. Word of warning, the loft area gets quite hot, there are a lot of fans provided though. Overall, great place to stay!

Walk to Poipu Beach

This lovely home is well located a short walk to Brenneke’s Beach and Poipu Beach. It also is close to the pool. We especially liked the very private patio in back that faces palm trees and plumeria trees. The upstairs loft has a rooftop patio with a slice of an ocean view and is a nice place to relax. The only warning is that there are two stairs from the entry hallway down to the sunken living room. When descending the carpeted stairs from the loft there are two additional uncarpeted stairs that lead to the sunken living room that can catch you off guard. (My husband actually fell on the first day of our stay.) Otherwise we had everything we needed and really enjoyed our stay at Manualoha 201.

This the perfect location on Kauai in the winter. Steps from the beach and so many beach items for use in the condo! I only rated 4 stars due to the lack of air conditioning. Other than that we loved the stay.

Private and close to the beach

This condo exceeded our expectations. Very clean, comfortable, and private. Easy walk to the beach and restaurants. Well kept swimming pool areas and nice Weber BBQs available. Even a hot tub. We found amazing hiking right from the condo. Great spot on the dry side of Kauai.

Close to Poipu Beach and turtles

We loved our stay at Manualoha 201! Kitchen was easy to use, loved the extra spaciousness of the unit. Our family of 4 had plenty of room to spread out. The bathrooms and kitchen have high end finishes and are very nice. Soft cotton sheets we appreciated on the beds. We loved going to Poipu Beach, especially watching sunsets and watching turtles come up to the beach at that time. Relaxing stay. Only thing is that there is no AC. Even though it's warm and humid in July in Kauai, we were impressed with the amount of fans. Keeping all the windows open and using the fans, really helped keep the unit cool. Beautiful place, so glad we stayed here.

Great space in a great location

We split our trip between the North and South side of the island. This South option was great! A short walk to the beach and a short drive to so many beaches and lookout points. The space was spacious and seemed much more welcoming than the North stay. The beach gear was an added perk.
