Dear Sonia, Many thanks for your review, I very much appreciate you taking the time to leave one for us. Unfortunately, it is not possible for us to have parasoles on the lawn as we have water pipes which run throughout the garden. Unfortunately, the pipes are relatively close to the surface of the lawn and would potentially be ruptured if we had parasoles being put into the lawn. We also will not be able to have extra loungers on the lawn but we will be buying some new loungers for the new season in 2022. We do replace and/or upgrade items at the villa every year, ready for each new season. I do hope that you did make use of the covered patios at the side and front of the villa for shade from the sun. The side patio does look onto the pool so you can sit there and keep an eye on small children. We did indeed have an issue with the BBQ which Paul fixed but thank you very much for mentioning it to me. Lastly, I am very sorry that Sam did not get to see you at the villa but I think that Paul did come over instead. Sam and Paul are a husband and wife team so sometimes they swap duties when needs must. I am very glad that you had a good stay and I am also very happy that you liked our beautiful local beach and I very much hope that we might welcome you to the villa again if you are ever back in the Costa de la Luz. Dear Fernando, Many thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. I am sorry that you had maintenance issues during your holiday and I hope that it didn’t detract from your stay. I will address your issues individually below: Two mattresses in poor condition – We are really not sure what your issue was with the mattresses. My managers have checked them and can find no problems with them. However, I will check them all thoroughly when I am in Spain in October and we will replace any if we see any problems with them. With regard to the sheets on some of the beds, this is a Covid ruling which we have to abide by. We are not allowed to make up any beds which are not going to be used by our guests and so we just leave a mattress protector on them. This is not something we like to do but we have to abide by the rules. However, I do apologise if it upset you. On the subject of the welcome pack, once again, Covid rules dictate that we cannot leave food products for guests any more. This was my error as I should have removed this from my villa information pack, so I apologise for my omission. Bathtub curtain – we do have a shower curtain on the en-suite bath but we have never had one in the family bathroom. It is a large corner bath and not easy to install a curtain. However, the bath is so large that it is not usually a problem The coffee maker was reported to us as faulty by the guests immediately after you and was replaced the next day. I am afraid that I am unsure what you mean by expired cleaning products as I am unaware that cleaning products have an expiry. However, I will check this and the knives and all other kitchen utensils etc when I visit. We do always ensure that we leave the kitchen with everything our guests might need. We also make sure that we have plenty of cutlery and crockery, not just six of everything, so I am very sorry if you found that there were not enough knives. We will also check the taps to see where the problem is. For anyone reading this review/response, please note that we have a marvellous couple (Sam and Paul) who manage our villa for us. If you have any issues during your stay, please let them know while you are there. They cannot fix what they are not told about. As I mentioned above, when they were finally informed that the filter coffee maker was not working, they replaced it the next day and they are equally speedy and pro-active when any other issues are brought to their attention. I hope you understand my explanations for your issues Fernando and that you do realise that we have to run things differently at the moment due to Covid. Many thanks, Julie

It is very clean has a large garden and a great pool. You can spend the whole evening on the terrace and enjoy the holiday. It is very quiet in a pine forest and only a few minutes drive from the beach. There are plenty of shopping nearby. The communication with Julie, Sam and Paul was nice and uncomplicated. We were there as a family with three children for two weeks and can recommend both the house, as well as the area absolutely.
