The host provide the right information in a timely fashion. Property was very conveniently located for our weekend, was comfortable and very well maintained. Decent kitchen for meals and comfortable living room for everyone to gather. We were there for Northern Michigan graduation and it was 5 minutes from the Superior Dome. Right across the street from Black Rocks for celebrations!

We enjoyed our stay and loved being across the street from Blackrocks Brewery. The stairs are steep so we would pack smaller suitcases or bags next time. The house was clean and well stocked.

Unique location across from Blackrocks Brewery… convenient but also can be loud late in the evening depending on what’s going on. Beds are comfortable. Bathroom and kitchen are clean.

Favorite Marquette Stay

This is our third time staying at this property and it cannot be beat. The location is within walking distance of almost everything you would want to do in town and a short drive to NMU and trails. The space is huge and comfortable.

I come ti this area all the time. The location was nice and close to lots of things to do. The place had tons of space, very clean, and lots of charm.

Great location

Great location in Marquette, close to everything. The only critique would be the room with the futon/pullout couch. It was really not a futon that an adult could sleep on, but we made it work.

Quirky apartment in a great location

Pros: Apartment was clean, location was very convenient to the downtown area and felt safe. Host was very responsive. Bid stack of clean towels in the bathroom. Cons: Air conditioning is only in the living room. Bedrooms just had fans. Old apartment that needs some repairs, large chips in the kitchen counter, ice trays all broken, etc. Bed linens were mismatched and cheap - several of the pillows were stinky and felt like they came from the dollar store. Construction is going on at the brewery across the street, so between the crowds at night and the workers first thing in the morning, it was loud - especially with the windows open in the bedrooms.

Great location in Marquette

Whole floor of a house in a great location. (I might mention that said great location is right across from Blackrocks brewery, which is perfect for me, but the front rooms were a little loud until the bar closed, not noticeable in any of the other rooms). Highly recommended spot!

Loved our stay

We loved our stay at the apartment. It was clean, bright and nicely decorated. The brewery nearby had food trucks daily, we were able to walk to everything in town. There are 18 fairly steep stairs to enter this property and two steps inside the apartment which I did not see in the listing and would be very crucial Information for those with mobility issues. Air conditioning is listed as an amenity, it was only in the living room, though each bedroom did have a fan. If you are looking for a place “in the heart of things” and don’t mind Live music, this is for you. We could hear the bands from the brewery every night, no escaping it.

convenient location

This simple, no-frills, property was close to everything! We could walk to NMU campus, downtown, and lots of cafes right down the block. As noted in the listing, it is right across the street from BlackrocksBrewery, so we could hear music from our rooms and a little bit of street noise from people leaving. There was a fan provided, that helped with white noise, so everyone was able to sleep OK.

Long weekend

We had a great time and the property had cute little touches that made it feel homey. We loved the location and walked to nearby coffee shops and restaurants. Owners were easy to contact and had quick responses for questions that we had. We would stay here again.
