It was a lovely stay. The refrigerator could be updated as some of our food was frozen and warm throughout the visit.

The host - Maui Rentals - was very responsive and especially about notifying us when the upper pool would be closed and as soon as it reopened. The beach gear in the closet was excellent - in great shape and very useful to have, especially the cooler and the insulated bags for shopping.

Property is pretty worn out. Furniture was dirty, couch sagging in the middle. The place was only surface cleaned. Rattan furniture parts were caked with crusty salty dirt. Found a dead cockroach under the bed that was also filthy. Walls and floors were clean, however doors and trims battered and dirty so were the kitchen cabinets and the outside of the fridge. Kitchen was well equipped, the fridge has no ice maker. Bed is firm, but comfy, pillows were terrible. No instructions left to how to use the safe and TV in living room. I called for the safe, but ended up not being able to watch TV. Beach chairs are partially broken, old and rusty. There weren’t enough beach towels. Cushions on couch were worn out and very uncomfortable. We experienced some as it turned out on going water leaks from the ceiling. Management was very responsive and nice. View and accessibility to the unit was good. People smoked on the lanai next door that was against the rules, property office did not seem to do anything about it when I complained. Overall the complex is beautiful, I have been staying there since 1995, however this particular unit was a bit of a letdown.

Condo was clean and convenient. Appliances however were dated: rust on the fridge and dials on the stove were worn and faded.

Great Kihei location with beautiful view of the ocean from patio, & living room sliding glass window. Comfortable bed, washer/dryer inside unit. Restaurants & shopping close by. & beaches within walking distance.

This was a great condo! Beautiful view and very comfortable. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. The check in and check out was super easy! Already planning our next trip.

Nice enough place but the blocked sink and blood on the duvet was pretty nasty

Thank you for your feedback, upon your departure we found the sink stopper jammed into the drain. We removed it and the sink is functioning as designed now. I'm sorry to hear about the duvet, our housekeepers make a habit of checking our linens prior to arrivals, we will have an assessment done asap.

Pros: View of the ocean.Beach chairs, umbrella, cooler and boogie boards available for use.Nice community pool and hot tub close by.Close to Kam III beach.Communication from managers was excellent.Cons:In need of updating.Shower in second bath was small and the shower valve handle was loose and made turning the water on and off difficult.Sink in the master bath was clogged and drained VERY slowly.Bed was very firm and pillows were flat and hard.Could hear every step from unit above.Bottom line: I would spend more money for a nicer place.

Christmas Getaway

We had a wonderful Christmas at the Maui Kamaole. The views from the condo are fantastic, just as advertised, and the size of the place is great. The living room furniture is not always the most comfortable, but overall it's a wonderful rental. Would definitely return in the future.

2024 Maui Kamaole #A-102 Vacation Rental

This unit has that. The unit was clean and well maintained providing us with all we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay.

We only used the chairs and an umbrella but boogie boards, snorkels & masks, fins were all there. Bed was comfy and the unit was updated.

Well equipped, needs updating!

So many good things about this property, great outside gear, kitchen well equipped, but needs a deep clean and update. Bugs in light fixtures, had some roaches, needs kitchen towels and bathroom hand towels, fixtures need updating and fresh paint. Great view, just needs some TLC.

Too many dumb rules preventing kids from just being kids. If you only want quiet adults, list it on the website. Very sad to spend all that money and feel like we rented a library

Great location, amenities & view...disruptive sound.

Location was excellent. Walking distance to main strip of Kihei and the beach. View of the ocean & sunset was amazing and never got old. Loved it! All the amenities were available and the comms with property management were great! Only complaint is that we were on the bottom unit and you can hear those above you to easily. It was disruptive. Also, property maintenance started early...a few mornings the leaf blower person came down the entry way around 7:30am. That was a little early for being that close to the unit.
