Amazingly clean and awesome host! Everything we needed was supplied. Ocean front views were amazing. Saw lots of dolphins from the deck. I would definitely rent this house again!

Fantastic stay! The house was clean, had a beautiful ocean view, and was an easy walk to the main strip. My kids loved the hot tub, and the home had everything we wanted for a perfect Surf City trip.

Wonderful beachfront home!

We took our family to this wonderful home for our summer vacation. It is beautifully decorated and has everything needed for a relaxing visit. Although a little pricey - it is worth it because of the location.

The house was nicely decorated, very comfortable and was equipped with nearly everything you might need. The view of the ocean is spectacular! Watching the sun rise with a cup of coffee on the deck was wonderful. Then spending the day on the beach with the ease a two minute walk to grab lunch at the house was great.

We had a wonderful stay at the Zen Escape! It was very clean and well stocked. We especially loved all the beach chairs and sand toys to use so we didn’t have to haul all of ours from home. Communication from the host and property manager was wonderful. The location can’t be beat either, just a short drive or even walk to all of our fave spots in Surf City. We will definitely be back!!

The house was in an excellent location and we didn’t have the best weather, so having the covered hot tub area was really nice. Well appointed house with lots of games and an entire bin of legos our kids loved! The nest thermostat was locked and we were unable to adjust the temperature which was frustrating, especially for the price of the stay. A good number of dishes and cups were dirty with food or coffee residue and had to be washed before using. Beautiful ocean view, incredibly short walk to the beach, and plenty of beach chairs and toys. Overall a great stay!

Beauty on the beach

We stayed for 21 days in April. House was perfect, everything that we needed. Clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated and location was excellent. We took our two dogs. The fenced in area was perfect. Also enjoyed that we could walk the dogs on the beach every day. Beta does an excellent job, great communication. This is the second place that we have stayed that she owns. Obviously we were very happy with the first and this one was just as amazing.

We love the beach in winter months. Although the weather is not always cooperative, Zen Escape never fails to deliver. We have stayed here several times and will return. The home is well stocked, very clean and the communication is exceptional. You won’t be disappointed.

This is the perfect stay for a North Carolina beach. It was extremely clean and had direct beach access, while being close to a couple of great restaurants/breweries. I also very much appreciated being able to bring my dog so he can enjoy the beach as much as possible during his senior years. I would stay here again without question.

A great beach house!

The house is beautifully decorated and well stocked with anything you would need for a great beach vacation. Location right on the beach, and located to easy walking distance to the pier, shops, and dining. And the hot tub was fantastic. We will stay again.

The place was better than the pictures! Beds were super comfy, super clean and fantastic views! Any concerns were promptly taken care of. The beach!!!! Stepping off the steps you are literally on the beach!! We had an exceptional time and hope to stay again in the future! THANK YOU!!

The house was very clean and many included items. Great property right on the beach, and the hot tub. The host was able to adjust our stay because of a winter storm. Great communication! We will stay again!

I always ask myself, would I stay here again? The answer is YES. The views are fantastic! It's rare to find a great rental on the ocean that allows dogs. It was super pet friendly with the fenced area and deck access. It was clean, as if no pets had been here before ours. We especially enjoyed the hot tub, covered outdoor area, and easy access to the beach. It was very well stocked with plenty of towels, extra pillows, and beach chairs. We look forward to returning.
