I booked this property for a relaxing weekend with a group of friends, and we were extremely disappointed.Several issues affected our stay. The house was not stocked for its advertised capacity of 16 guests: there were not enough towels, and the provided soap, shampoo, and other essentials were insufficient for a large group. Many of the dishes we took from the cabinets were not clean. The basement beds were uncomfortable, and the bedding felt low quality. One downstairs bathroom had a window without a curtain, creating a significant privacy concern because the window faced the street. The atmosphere of the property was not welcoming. There were signs throughout the house warning of fines, including fines tied to noise levels monitored by a decibel meter and penalties for things such as leaving the garage door open for more than 2min. While we understand the need for house rules, the number and tone of these warnings made the stay feel uncomfortable, like we were being watched. The most frustrating experience occurred when we received a call from the management company at 10:03 p.m., just minutes after quiet hours began at 10:00 p.m. We had simply been playing board games and laughing. We were told there had been a noise complaint and warned that another complaint would result in a fine - we believe its an automated system with the decibel monitor.
