This fabulous single family home checks all the boxes for a great stay in Savannah. You are located close to the famous Forsyth Park in a brand new single family home with a beautiful courtyard and off street parking. Walk in to a modern open concept living room, dining, and kitchen. Complete with hard wood floors, beautiful light fixtures, and a gorgeous kitchen island, granite counters, stainless appliances and a lots of storage. Enjoy your morning coffee on the outside deck or entertain with cocktails in the courtyard. A spacious Master suite on the second floor and two more guest rooms with guest bath you will have plenty of places for the whole family. Walk to shopping, restaurants, and coffee in the neighborhood or catch the free shuttle from the park just two blocks down and ride down to the river for a dinner cruise or catch a show at the Savannah Theatre. Great property in a really great city. We loved our stay here. From the hubbub of River Street to the cool vibes of neighborhood places, the location was perfect for exploring all that Savannah has to offer. Communication with the host was easy and instructive, and the home was immaculate, well-kept, and comfortable. All the comforts of home are here, including little things like toiletries and kitchen necessities. We have stayed in many VRBOs across the country, but few have matched the overall excellence of the Gwinnett Cottage. We would definitely stay here again.

This a beautiful home. Very clean and comfortable. Close to grocery store, coffee shop, Forsyth Park. Walking distance to many beautiful areas.Short drive to River Street and Bonaventure cemetery.

There needs to be more extra blankets and sheets. The only 2 blankets available in the entire house were dirty upon arrival and so had to delay my day to wash. Also, stayed 2 days with total of 5 people smd only 4 towels. Absolutely ridiculous. Each bathroom should have had 3-4 towels each. The info package said to use black clothes to remove makeup…only 2. Lots of washing on my end and not what I wanted to do on my weekend getaway. Returning to Savannah soon and not sure if I will book again. PS the courtyard needs love. Plant heat tolerant anything to give it more appeal.

Reviewer Comments: We could not believe how beautiful this property really is, the pictures are really nice, but when you see it in person, be prepared to be blown away. The furnishings, linens and other amenities are all upscale and this property supplies coffee, shampoo and lotion. The enclosed courtyard is lit for a relaxing evening after sightseeing. Forsythe Park and Kroger are just a short walk away. Price St. takes you straight to River St and this property has a dedicated parking slot for the guest's automobile.We definitely give Gwinnett's Luxury Cottage 10 stars! And would stay here again.communication with the host was handled promptly and there wasn't a speck of dust anywhere.

The pictures of this property is spot on, as when you see it in person, it takes your breath away. From the hand scraped wood floors to the beautiful furnishings, this property has all the bells and whistles. The patio area is set up for relaxation after a long day of sightseeing. The townhouse is just a couple of streets away from Forsythe park, Kroger and several restaurants. They have a basket in the dining room full of information on area events and coupons. Communication with the host is is great, all questions are answered within 24 hrs. If I could give Gwinnett's Luxurious Cottage more than 5 stars, I would as it is a highly desirable place to stay in Savannah. We didn’t have a pet, but the back courtyard is completely fenced in if you would like to bring your fur baby.

Family vacation 2025

Our family came to Savannah for a week in the low country. One of our daughters lives in downtown Savannah so the rest of the gang including grandchildren came for a week of fun in this fabulous city. As always Savannah didn't disappoint. The home is so comfortable and roomy for all 6 of us.We enjoyed Forsythe Park, shopping downtown, Riverboat Sunset cruise and a Ghost tour. Tybee put sand under our feet and Habersham Midtown gave us some extra rain water to navigate. Starland Yard filled us with food, fun, beversges, ice cream, puppy pats and laughs.We even celebrated one grands 8th birthday. It was hard to leave this enchanting city and beautiful home.

Lovely!

The house was beautiful and spotless. Newly updated. The kitchen was one of the best stocked I've ever seen. There was a Kroger food store within walking distance. Short walk to Forsyth Park. The street wasn't the quietest or prettiest but still no issues and great price. Would absolutely stay here again! Loved having off street parking and a private patio area. Had the best time in Savannah. Beautiful city with so much to see and learn about. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

The kitchen is stocked with most of the cooking gadgets you could desire. A short walk over to Forsyth Park and the bus stop for the free DOT bus to catch a ride to the riverwalk. The house was clean with a cute fenced in backyard. We would stay here again.

Graduation Celebration

This property appears to be newly renovated and was very beautiful and comfortable at the same time. The check-in process was very easy. The location is Central to everywhere you could want to go. As far as amenities in the property, they had everything you could want if you decide to cook at home. However, there are many wonderful restaurants and pubs in the area. I would highly recommend VZ on the River and the old pink house. Being so close to Forsyth Park was a huge bonus for anyone who enjoys outdoor and green space. I would stay at this location again without any Reservations.
