Perfect Getaway

Sunkissed is a beautiful property. The yard and pool are the perfect place to relax. It's a short walk to the beach, restaurants and shops.

Serenity!

The house was extremely comfortable and well stocked. The pool area was a gem although if i could change one thing it would be the traffic noise but thats just because of its location, not enough to deter me from staying there again. Overall one of the best rentals weve stayed in. AMI is a gem!

Fun times @ AMI

The property managers were easy to communicate with and made sure our stay was good - including helping with the pool heater during an unusually cold snap! The pool is small but that is ok because it warmed up very quickly with the heater. We were disappointed with the lack of sun in the pool area - due to other houses/foliage and location of sun. Perhaps during other times of the year, that isn’t an issue. Because it was so chilly the first part of our stay, we were desperate for sun and unfortunately the best place for that is in the front yard - right on the corner of a very busy road. The house was spacious and inviting and had everything we needed. We had plenty of room for all of us to have some privacy and comfort. Rooms were nicely decorated. The traffic is very loud when outside - likely again a function of the time of year we stayed (week between Christmas and NYE). But overall we loved our stay here and are thankful that we had the opportunity to stay on the island with our family!

Enjoyed our stay with a few snafus

The house was wonderful; it had room for our family and a fabulous pool/outdoor area. That said, it was RIGHT next to a busy road. You could hear cars passing all day and night. It was walking distance to the beach, though, so that offset the street noise. The company was SUPER responsive to issues, but we did encounter more problems than we would have liked. The grill had 2 tanks of propane, both of which were not full. We rented the house for a month and it would have been nice if the property company did their due diligence and checked to ensure we had at least one full propane tank. The pool filtration system broke, the people who fixed it found a broken valve which needed fixing, and there was tons of mold in the ice maker, which also needed fixing. And then we had a big leak under the kitchen sink, which required a plumber. As our family was being super cautious due to COVID, it was not ideal to have so many strangers on property to fix all these problems. Overall, the stay was good, but considering the amount of money we spent to rent the house for one month, it would have been nice not to encounter so many issues during our four week stay.

While we are happy that we could jump on getting them fixed quickly - we of course wish that your stay would have been less eventful in that area. When we inspect our rental homes we do run water in each faucet to check for leaks and the pool for any strange sounds or low water levels. We of course check the grills and propane tanks and if they are very low, we replace them. We keep full tanks on hand and if the guest replaces a tank themselves - we reimburse the cost. The house was pretty and comfortable for our stay. It was too cold for swimming. We are elderly, so the steps up to the living area were difficult, at times. We had a nice stay, though, over all.

Great Experience!

We had a wonderful family vacation in Sunkissed, the first time coming to Florida and to Anna Maria Island, and we love it! House was clean, well equipped, the pool was wonderful although smaller than what it looks like in the pictures! But overall the house was cozy and beautiful! Thank you so much, we definitely recomend Sunkissed and definitely will come back!

Spring break

We enjoyed our stay. The pool was great and we liked having plenty of outdoor space. Would be nice to have had patio furniture that’s a bit more comfortable for sitting on upper patio. Main floor was great . Kitchen had the normal amount of cooking supplies that you find in rentals. The upstairs could use new carpet or hardwoods. Carpet makes it seem dirty especially when it’s in bad shape. Curtains to block out light would be nice too. They had box fans which was nice because we like to sleep with the noise. Beds were comfortable, and had plenty of extra blankets. The garage was full of beach toys, boards, and chairs which was great. The beach was an easy enough walk. We rented bikes but would have probably done a golf cart too if we had it to do over. Going back and forth to the beach would have been easier to haul things. It was on a busy road but didn’t really bother us. It was walking distance to the the ugly grouper which is a great restaurant . Publix, Walgreens, etc we’re about a 5-10 min drive depending on traffic. It was really busy when we were there so getting around was kind of a pain, and restaurants were packed every night. I would try to go off the island for our bigger grocery trips, but definitely plan them really early or late otherwise you sit in traffic to get on and off the island. Overall we had a great trip and would recommend staying here.

Nice house, loud location

The house was beautiful. However, the location adjacent to a busy road was very loud. Also, the WiFi was very weak and did not work much of our stay.

Beautiful Property

Great family vacation

Beautiful home, Pool nice and private from vegetation . Convenient location to stores , restaurants. Only negative thing , it is beside the main road with much traffic . Vegetation blocks the view but you can hear traffic while outside. It didn’t bother us as we had a wonderful time !
