Overall, we had a wonderful holiday. The house is well equipped, the beds are comfy and the pool is the highlight. There are a few things that don’t work, a few things that are scruffy and a few things that are dirty (the cellar fridge, for example) but it didn’t spoil our holiday at all and I’d still recommend the house.

Die Lage des Hauses ist super. Der Pool ist sehr schön und wird gut gepflegt. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig. Die Einrichtung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, der Kühlschrank müsste mal erneuert werden. Der Strand ist fußläufig erreichbar und sehr schön. Der Ort selbst ist klein, aber hat einen kleinen Supermarkt und zwei mal in der Woche Markt. Etwas wenige Restaurants.

Semaine magique à Quimiac

Une superbe semaine. La grande maison comme son environnement magnifique nous ont tous enchanté, avec la mer à 400 m, sous un beau soleil en plus. La belle piscine, les vélos à disposition, ont permis à chacun de profiter, se détendre, s'oxygéner, petits comme grands. Tout se fait à pieds. Un énorme merci à la propriétaire pour son bel accueil, sa gentillesse et sa confiance. Ce fût la plus belle semaine de nos vacances, et de loin.

Lovely break in this beautiful town

Our overall impression was good: the property could not be in a better location (fantastic bakery two minutes away, which we made full use of every day! And a vibrant market in walking distance twice a week.) The pool is absolutely fantastic, really clean, great temperature, and an excellent size with a diving board - we enjoyed this very much. The property is spacious and quiet - we felt, though, that some areas were a bit tired (carpets etc. and scratches on the landing wall as examples) and would benefit from some attention, and we found quite a few lights that didn't work. The owner Annick was very pleasant, and quick to respond to any queries we had. All in all we had a good holiday - the house's brilliant location is a massive selling point l, Quimiac is lovely, and the beach up the road (Plage de Lanseria) is simply stunning, a must for any sunset chasers!

A very good holiday. Very pleased to have found the property and would come again without hesitation . Property is modern and well decorated, good size kitchen, dining and living area. decent size bedrooms. Good bathrooms but suggest fitted show in downstairs bathroom so children can shower easily after pool and sea . First class pool. Availability of cycles an added bonus. Excellent quiet location, easy short walk to village, small supermarket, 2 decent restuarants, post office, tourist office. 500 metre easy walk to generally a quiet high quality beach, good for swimming.

Belle maison spacieuse près de la plage

Très beau séjour dans cette maison spacieuse et accueillante dont la propriétaire est très sympathique. Belle piscine. La proximité de la plage permet de longues promenades en bord de mer. Marché et commerces accessibles à pied en quelques minutes. Parfait pour un séjour en famille pour (re)découvrir une très belle région.

Excellente situation à quelques pas de la mer et du centre ville.

Vaste maison avec tout le confort souhaité. La piscine (chauffée) est juste parfaite. Rien à redire !

An excellent house in a lovely location

This is a fabulous house located just 487m from the sea and with a great heated swimming pool which at its deepest must go down to ~ 2.5m. Our family really enjoyed the diving board too! The house was clean, comfortable and spacious and the owner, Madame Garreau was very welcoming. Queries were responded to very quickly. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything you need to cook for the family, as well as having lots of crockery, cutlery and glassware. There is a washing machine and also a tumble dryer in the basement too. The house is located ~ 3 minutes walk from the centre of Quimiac. It is a small town with one supermarket, a Cocinelle, as well as a bar, post office, pharmacy and twice-weekly market. There is a larger Carrefour supermarket 5 minutes drive away, and the house is ~ 15 minutes drive from an E Leclerc Hypermarket at Guerande. We spent most of our time just relaxing at the house (mostly on the terrace or by the pool) and at the lovely beach at the end of the road. We also enjoyed some walks and runs along the coast. A wonderful base for a relaxing family holiday- we would happily return again.

Très belle prestation

La maison a l’avantage que tout se fait à pieds. Une fois arrivé, vous videz votre voiture et elle peut rester dans la propriété le temps de votre séjour sans devoir obligatoirement la déplacer. Se trouvent dans un environnement proche : un restaurant, une crêperie, une pharmacie, une librairie, l’Office du Tourisme, un bar… La plage et la mer sont +/- à 400m. La maison ressemble en tout point à la description faite sur le site : grande, joliment décorée et bien fournie en ustensiles de cuisine. Les chambres sont très spacieuses et bénéficient de nombreux espaces de rangements. La piscine, équipée d’un plongeoir, est très bien entretenue. Un pisciniste passe régulièrement faire l’entretien. Vous ne devez donc vous occuper de rien. Les lits étaient faits à notre arrivée. La propriétaire, Madame Garreau, toujours à l’écoute tant les semaines qui ont précédées notre arrivée que pendant notre séjour, nous attendait avec une excellente bouteille de cidre. L’attention est très appréciable surtout après une très longue route. Merci ! Cette maison est à recommander sans hésitation.

A great house in a charming town - will return!

We stayed at this property for a week in August and it was a wonderful find. There were 8 of us at the property (5 adults and 3 children) and it was more than big enough. After booking I had contacted the owner several times for various bits of information and I always received a very quick response and felt like nothing was too much trouble. The property was very clean with everything you could ask for. It is in a fantastic location so close to a beautiful beach and minutes from the town square which had a fabulous market (food and clothing) twice a week. At the end of the road was a bar/pizzeria which served excellent food - more of a restaurant than a bar in my opinion as the food was so good. We had a lovely family holiday and I would be quick to come back here.
