Wonderful stay on AMI

Moon Shadow South is a gorgeous property on the desirable North end of AMI. It is clean, nicely decorated, well stocked, and spacious. The view from the balcony, kitchen, and master suite is amazing and the pool was perfect. There was more than enough room for our family of 5 and the icing on the cake was being able to bring our shih tzu. We will definitely be back!

Great place and great location

The house was very clean , very close walk to the beach and local restaurants. Nice pool and we appreciate the umbrella and the chairs for the beach . We will come back to this place .

Great home near the point and close to beach access

Great property in an ideal location near the point. The home was extremely clean. Garage storage was a plus with rented bikes and our own paddle board to secure. The rooms were comfortable, appliances clean, and pool area immaculate. Highly recommend for a family stay.

our wonderful trip to Anna Marie

We have been to Anna Marie twice before, it was our first visit to this house, it’s in a great location, the home has everything you need, it’s modern but very comfortable, we have 2 teenagers who also loved it as they could ride there bikes where ever they wanted, as you feel so very safe there, it is truly a wonderful place to go.

Moon Shadow South is exactly as advertised. Beautiful home with everything you'd need!

Property is immaculate, pool is clean and street is quiet. A bike ride or walk to shopping or beach access. VRBO was helpful in planning this stay and answering questions prior to our visit. We were able to bring our dog and that was important for us with this booking. It is a great rental property in a beautiful area of the island!

Excellent Property

Last minute decision to travel to Anna Maria and this property was available. We decided to go with this house because of the location to the beach and how nice the house was presented. Property was perfect! It was super clean, had plenty of space, updated, fully stocked, nice pool, outdoor patio area, quiet neighborhood, and had a great view of the ocean. Would definitely stay at this property again!

Everything and more!

Great experience from beginning to end of stay! Pool area was ideal with children, shaded in the afternoon following day at beach! Any questions or communication were quickly answered or addressed! We hope to return in the next year!

Great location, clean and cosy house

The house is located on the sunrise coast of Anna-Maria, close to Pine avenue with shops and restaurants (close to Gulf Dr as well). We parked the car close to the other coast to go to the great beach out there. House is new, clean and reasonably well equiped (missing more face towels, placemats, lemon/lime squeezer and similar items).

Beautiful home - horrible beds made sleeping aweful

The home was beautiful but the beds in this place would keep me from ever renting here again. They were horrible! My husband and I left with back aches!!!!!

Nice Place, Nice Location, Nice & Clean

The house was clean and well located on the island. The communication with the management group prior to our arrival was good. The linens were nice and seemed relatively new. We personally prefer the gulf side of the island but we walked every night around Bean Point ans watched the sunset each night. That said - the view of the bridge from the kitchen sink is very nice. As is the view from the 3rd floor master bedroom. We didn't like that there were no "basic supplies" provided: shampoo, dishwasher soap for example. The bar soap that was provided for the 2 bathrooms was "chincy" and I think it would be wise for the house to provide full-sized soaps. There was washer soap however and plenty of beach towels were provided. We would consider renting this house again.

Wonderful!

We just left this house and our stay was wonderful! The house was beautiful and had everything we needed to be comfortable! Beautiful views of the gulf, and a short walk to the white sandy beach. The pool was prefect for the kids and we even got to bring our small dog to enjoy the vacation with us! Ellie and Bob were wonderful and very quick to get back with us for any questions we had. The only negatives were that there was construction going on next door, which made it very loud during the day and couldn't enjoy sitting on the balcony. It was out of the owners control that it was happening just would've been nice to have known a head of time. Also, the beach umbrella was not useful at all. Didn't have a stand to get it off the ground while at the beach. Last thing is doors would be nice for the upstairs bedroom. Especially with two families staying together. These are minor things that would've been nice but didn't affect our stay to much. Plan on booking the house next year and looking forward to it! Wonderful place to stay. Recommend it it to everyone! You won't be disappointed!

Not what I expected

A few things turned this from a 5 star vacation, into a 3 star experience. 1 - The home was not clean. There was dog hair everywhere, stains on the walls etc. 2 - Nowhere in the listing does it state that directly behind the home (where the pool is) they are building not 1 but 2 houses! Construction noise, heavy equipment, etc., at 7am sharp every day. 3 - The pool was not cleaned as promised by the property owner. The pool man came and checked chemicals but did not remove the debris from the pool. This pool is not in an enclosure so leaves, dirt from the construction zone across the street, insects etc., were pretty bad by mid-week. We were so unhappy with the way the property manager handled our concerns we left 2 days early.

Stay here !

If I could chose 4.5 stars I would....the complaints are minimal which I will state last as I don't want it to deter readers of the review.....We chose this home based on looks and the fact that it had a pool. Was not disappointed - the pictures don't do it justice!! The home is sooooo beautiful and very nicely decorated. Location is quiet and at the very end of the island - a nice thing for us and what we were looking for. We had car but island has free trolley. Easy walk to bay/ocean. Great beach supplies including the beach buggy!! Management company - specifically Emilie - was so patient & helpful. Will definitely stay here again & look forward to it. Ok the negatives: The house needs throw rugs to help off set noise in the house from both walking around to people talking. It would help offset the echoing in the home. The master bedroom has no door on it which is a major drag especially due to the echoing. Making calls from your cell phone is non existent in the house - not sure why but it works down by the pool most of the time. If you plan on taking more than 2 showers simultaneously or back to back, think again as you will be out of hot water. Lastly, a bathroom on the lower level should have been considered when building this home. A big bummer to have to come in from the pool - wet - up to the main floor down the hall - to go to the bathroom & then back again. The positives more than outweigh the negatives. You will love it here !!!

Perfect property in the perfect location

This is our second time at this property, and we absolutely loved it. Fabulous location, easy walk to the beaches and morning coffee. Superbly clean. Can’t say enough good things about this property!

Perfect

The pictures did not do justice on how spacious this home is. The kitchen had absolutely everything we needed to prepare meals. The home was beautifully decorated and there were plenty of towels for bathrooms and the pool. The pool area was great. We enjoyed watching the kids play in the pool while sipping our drinks and grilling dinner. There were chairs to take to the beach, a cart, and a cooler in the garage. The location was also perfect. It was a memorable week of fishing, delicious restaurants, shopping, beach going, and plenty of pool time. We can’t wait to come back!!!

Perfect House and Location

This house was perfect for us, and in a great location. The home had plenty of room to spread out. The private pool was great, it was best for the morning sun, in February. The communication with rental company was excellent. We loved our stay, and look forward to staying here again!

Clean and great views

This house was perfect for our family. The house was well equipped, we enjoyed the bay view and the easy 1/2 mile walk AMI pier and 2 block walk to rod and reel pier. The beds were very uncomfortable, otherwise it would get all 5 stars.

Family Vacation

Great house..conveniently located within walking distance of beach. House was perfect for six people and with the pool area and deck off kitchen we had plenty of space to spread out. Suzanne was also very helpful with questions.

Perfect house

We had a wonderful week. We have rented several houses and this was by far our favorite. I wish the pool heater would have been able to be turned above 82 as it was too cold most days. The house was perfect for our family of 4. The kitchen is huge. The location to the beach and pier is perfect.

Fantastic Property

We stayed at this house for two weeks in December. It was extremely clean. It was well built with nice upgrades. It is a block from the gulf and three blocks from the beach. It is a few blocks from town and a few steps from a park. It is on the quieter side of the island. It is an ideal location. The owners/property managers were very responsive and accommodating. It is perfect for a family of four. The master suite on the third floor is a nice escape. This kitchen is really big. The pool area is big too. The family room is on the small side and connects to the kitchen. During our stay, the pool did not get much direct sunlight for any period of time. That was a disappointment (outside the control of our hosts). I would highly recommend this house as a destination.
