First the good - we were only looking for a four day rental and this house to allow us to do that. It’s on the north end of the island and close to beaches and restaurants. It’s on the canal so you can paddleboard, kayak, fish, or watch the manatees.The pool is nice after a day on the beach. For the not so good – the house is seriously outdated and in need of some TLC. Dents and holes in the walls in places, a toilet that is broken and doesn’t flush, and just little things, chords and plugs running all over the floor in the main living area, a deck railing that is a hodgepodge of wood and looks like it was put up with scrap lumber. At the end of the day, for us, the house is just a place to come back to after spending the day at the beach or outside, but this one needs a little love. And just a suggestion, we were left with a couple of rolls of paper towels, and toilet paper, several packages of laundry detergent, but no dish detergent and no trash bags. Leaving just a few would be nice for your renters.

Awesome stay!

Our family of 5 (2 adults, 1 teen and 2 children) enjoyed our stay. We loved the layout of the property and the decor. The kitchen was adequately stocked for cooking meals. The kids loved using the pool daily and the location was great! We hope to come back soon!

We don’t want to leave!!!!

Loved this property! Had everything we needed. My family utilized the dock, pool and pool table...such a blast and much needed family time! Location was wonderful. Short walk to the water, shops and restaurants. We will stay here again.

Beach house bliss

Beautiful home, great location, ten minute walk to multiple beaches, lovely pool. Had an issue with the alarm which was quickly addressed. Overall a great beach house.

Great Property and Location Plenty of Space

This property is great. It was once a magnificent house but is showing her age. The beds are soft and there's so much space for everyone. We truly enjoyed ourselves and the property managers are excellent and very responsive. We wouldn't book this property again with so many amazing options on Anna Maria but we did enjoy our time and for the price you might not find any other home on the water with a pool.

Great place to stay

Great location. 5 mins walk to an AMAZING beach. House is big and comfortable. Very clean. The kitchen is very well equipped. Anything you might need is there. The pool area is very nice. The beds are comfortable. House looks and feels a bit 'exhausted". The backyard ( and front yard) needs some TLC, but again, is a fantastic option.

Close but not that close

The property itself was nice - it is listed as a 6 minute walk to the beach which is a bit of a stretch...If you have gear to bring to the beach then you'll need to drive. The property should have a screen outside because after dusk it is impossible to enjoy the outdoor space with all of the mosquitos.

Florida Vacation

We were happy with the home. I would recommend a couple of items. The reclining sofa and chair don’t recline. That needs to be fixed and the thermostat is on the second floor. Not very convenient. The batteries also run down very quickly.

Great house in an excellent location

We really enjoyed staying here. There were a few hiccups, like the tropical storm that came and we chose to leave temporarily to avoid it... when we returned, there was a leak in the roof that made the carpet on the stairs wet... I'm sure it is being addresses. The pools was full of leaves and sticks, but again, that can be expected from a big storm. The kitchen is great, so is the living room and outdoor areas, the master bedroom had an electrical issue causing the fan not to work... Overall, it felt clean, comfortable, quiet, and in a great location. Staff was very responsive, check in and check out were a breeze, lots of beach gear provided, pool table, nice canal in the backyard, nice layout of the house, AC worked great, so really nothing to complain about and my 7 year old daughter had a blast, which js all that matters. The coffee maker has a kcup function which was also nice to have. The location to beanpoint beach is unmatched. We'd definitely stay here again. My only suggestions would be to update certain things, change the rug in the living room for a new one, and provide more basics like bottles of water, as to me, little things like that go a long way. I still give it a 9.5/10 overall

Truly a Beautiful " Bella" Property

Great location in a quiet neighborhood. Spacious house with 2 BR/2BA upstairs and 1 Queen BR/BA on main floor. Large kitchen for those who like to cook, or just use counters for snacks/ beverages. TV offers lots of channels. Neat to be on a canal (no stairs into the water though). We were greeted by 3 manatee on our arruval day, but never saw them on other days. Lots of mullet swimming and jumping daily. Funky and whimsical yard decor. Pool is amazing! Great size and has an actual deep end (probably 8 feet). It must be heated as it was always comfortable-- never chilly as you get in. Refreshing-- we were there in May. Cool breeze and tropical, lush plants. Large outdoor table with umbrella with seating for 8. There is also a 3 person table outdoors on main level. We ate there a lot.Nice breeze and view of canal. Upper level has a table for 2 off the master BR. Breeze is nice there too. You can' t go wrong with this home. Would stay again. Close to shops, restaurants, and the beaches. Host is responsive if you have any questions. Enjoy this home and this beautiful island!

Great house - could use a few updates

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house. The location is off the main area and therefore very quiet. About 4-5 blocks to the beach. Not far, but we had a golf cart to make that trip easier. The pros: The house had everything we needed. Nicely laid out and comfortable. It was GREAT having a pool. We used it every day. The pool table was a lot of fun as well. Plenty of space for everyone. Kitchen is very large - lots of cabinets and counter space. Primary bed was very comfortable and the two guest rooms stayed nice and cool. The house could use a few improvements: The primary bedroom stayed very warm. The AC struggled to cool that room off. The ceiling fan did not work and it needs curtains to block the sun/heat. At 7 am it was bright as day :(. The primary shower floor was grimey - you can see the stains where it hasn't been cleaned well and that seemed gross. The upstairs guest room does not have a TV. The bathtub was peeling - must have been painted in the past? The downstairs guestroom had a TV. The bed was very 'springy'..felt cheap. There is no ventilation over the stove...strange! The living room windows could use tinting or blinds or something to block the heat/sun. The carpets on the stairs are filthy. The tiles on the main floor were clean from being mopped but grimey looking. Overall, we loved the house despite needing improvements. We chaulked it up to the area and the age of the house. BUT...I wanted to do an honest review
