Yellowbird house exceeded our expectations. It was very clean and seemed to be newly updated. It is however a slight walk to the beach, not through the sand to the ocean but on the street then to the ocean.

Great house

Loved the house—great little pool, wonderful porch, comfy beds, nice showers. No complaints, would definitely stay there again.

Lovely house, we enjoyed all the space and the outside- would have loved more sun by the pool but it was still great. Close to beach, shops and restaurants, walkable or bikes to use. Kitchen is awesome & stocked appliance/cookware wise but no salt/pepper or any condiments. Overall, would come back!!

House was great…2 minute walk to the beach…room for everyone…beautiful kitchen…backyard is smaller than it appears online but we weren’t there much…great property!

Great location

The house was nicely appointed with everything you need for a beach vacation! Chairs, floats, etc. Everyone loved the pool. Just be sure to pack bug repellent. Short walk to beach and restaurants. A wonderful week!

Great location

While we have visited Anna Maria Island for many years, this is the first time we have stayed on the north end. The house is so close to the beach we could relax to the sound of the waves when lounging on the back porch. We enjoyed early morning walks on the beach to the point each day and were even privileged to witness a sea turtle finish nesting and return to the sea. Pine Ave is a short walk away. The house was very comfortable and well stocked. Our 12 year old loved sleeping in the loft. Overall we had a great stay.

Wonderful Family Vacation

One of the best family vacations we have had. Very close to the beach and house was very clean. Loved that even beach towels were provided! The pool was great to escape some of the sun in the later afternoons! Would definitely stay here again! Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Yellow Bird is a very comfortable house!

We came down for a week. 7 adults and an 18 month old. The house was roomy with a large common room adjoining the kitchen. Very private due to clever planting. Large, airy porches. Various levels allowed us to be together or separate. The pool/lanai area was really nice. Outdoor shower!!huge garages! A very short walk to the magnificent beach. We were delighted!!

Beautiful, clean, well stocked home. Only a short walk to the beach, we also enjoyed the pool in the tropical garden setting. Some outdoor chairs need to be replaced (one broke while in use), and it would be nice to have at least a second beach umbrella.

Everything was fine except we didn’t know you have to bring toilet paper. The amount we paid for the house would supply it. We had 4 rolls for 7 people for a week

Great Space and Location!

We spent our holiday at the house and really loved the house! We really liked the layout where we could all get together in the living area or retreat to our bedrooms if we needed some "me" time! Each of our 3 kids had their own room (one was in the loft and loved it!) and each of the couples had a spacious room with an ensuite bathroom. The house was in a great location-close to everything; beach, restaurants, shops, etc. The view from the upstairs balcony was amazing! Perfect spot for us and we plan on revisiting for future vacations!

Good time

We had a great vacation and the house had plenty of room for us. The location was perfect. However, the back yard and pool area was a disappointment. The back yard was strewn with leaves and dirt. The tiki hut wasn’t very clean and we couldn’t figure out how to turn the lights on as we wanted to spend a nice evening under the hut with drinks. Also one fan blade to the tiki hut was completely broken off and missing. It looked pretty tacky and didn’t work. I would stay there again if these issues were corrected. Or if the price was a bit lower. Overall it was a very good place to stay.

Great proximity to a goregous beach

This home was a short walk to a beach that felt like it was your own private paradise! There is no public parking in the vicinity so only those in the neighborhood use the beach. The home came with all the beach playthings we needed and a beach wagon to haul everything there effortlessly. When a beach umbrella broke in the wind, the property management company delivered a new one within a couple of hours! While the house is listed as 4 bedroom with a loft containing a full bed w/trundle it doesn't work out that way. The Murphy bed tilts substantially to one side and no one in our group wanted to sleep on it; the loft with the full bed w/trundle is adorable but the ladder leading to it is treacherous for anyone but a tween to climb (although the ladder is architecturally cute). So because of the make up of our group we only had use of 3 bedrooms. Fortunately that worked out for us but potential guests should bear that in mind when calculating how many the house will in fact sleep. The other heads up I would offer potential guests is to heed the reviews about the thermostat settings; we did not. The a/c exterior units (3 I think) are mounted in one of the garage ceilings right under the master bedroom. The auxiliary fan to help dissipate the heat they generate from the garage was not functioning. The master bedroom was 77+ degrees almost all the time which made for less than ideal sleep; something we did not anticipate in a higher-end rental. The thermostats are all remotely controlled (by whom???) and preset to cool no lower than 73 degrees. even in the other bedrooms that temp wasn't reached until the middle of the night. The ceiling fans did help when we ran them on high all night. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking; there was nothing for the kitchen we needed that we did not find furnished with the house. There was even a toddler high chair in one of the storage closets which was useful since we were traveling with a toddler. The living level was spacious and the furniture comfortable. The pool/patio listing picture isn't a fair representation; the space is very cramped and the tiki hut (which occupies quite a bit of that space) is too hot to sit under. The overhead fan installed in the tiki hut did not work so there was no way to make that part of the patio usable. The house's location (N end of island) and proximity to the gorgeous beach canceled out these negatives for us but potential guest should be aware of them.

Very close to the beach

We really enjoyed our stayed, the house has everything you need for the beach. The only little details we didn't like lot and lot of mosquitoes by the pool. The ice maker is a plus and elevator. Great house in the north of the island.

Probably one of my favorite rentals!

Great location. Ample beach chairs, towels, coolers, ice makers. Huge plus was having 5 bikes. House was easy to keep tidy and super cozy!

Great location

Lovely beach house in a great location. We loved the sunset views from the various decks. There are a lot of stairs in the house which caused some stress for the parents of young children. There are ample bedrooms with plenty of space four our whole family. The pool is a bit disconnected from the rest of the house, but it was heated and very pretty.

Just perfect! Highly recommended for our family of 6 adults. Lots of space and decks for privacy and spreading out around the house. Well stocked, clean, great pool, lovely beach views. Ice maker in the garage, bikes, and beach supplies made the home even more special.

Perfect house for relaxing vacation

We absolutely loved this house and it’s location. House was very clean, had everything we could possibly need. We appreciated good quality firm mattresses. Swimming pool was not really big but we had a lot of fun every day in it. Shot walk to the beach was a big plus. In garage we found everything we need for the beach. We spend a lot of time on the balcony, so cozy, relaxing, super dreamy. View on the beach and sunset was stunning!

Fantastic home

We had a great time at Yellow Bird. Location was fantastic. So close to the beach and Pine Street. We knew there was a small water view from an upper balcony but it was actually a really great view of the ocean. The house has a great layout with master on first floor and 3 bedrooms upstairs. One of the bedrooms is classified as an office with a murphy bed but it's a really nice bedroom with the best view. Bathrooms are all large. There are 3 balconies, 2 in back and 1 on front porch. Pool is shaded, like most houses on AMI, but that was nice as the weather was very warm. Would definitely stay in this house again.
