Everything we needed

Great stay in a cute little cottage in a great location. We and our dogs enjoyed our stay and appreciated all the extra touches (ie. tie-out for the dogs).

Cute house but needs some updates

I booked this place last year right as Jason bought the house. There are some items that the house needs updates for but overall its a nice house. Jason is working on updating the landscaping, driveway, and bedroom. It was a great house to stay at and has a lot going for it. I think it would be great for a family with some kids to stay upstairs.

Family of Four Trip to Michigan

Our family stayed at this property as our last stop on a roadtrip around Lake Michigan. The house was very nice and had a perfect amount of space for myself, my husband and our two boys. They loved having their own space in the loft. The neighborhood was very nice and the location across the street from the lake was great. We only had to walk about .5 miles to get to a dock where we could do a little fishing. The host was a great communicator reminding us of the check-in/check-out procedures. I would definitely recommend staying here - it was perfect to be close to Holland and Saugatuck.

Cute cottage

This cottage is exactly as pictured, and very well furnished and stocked. The cottage is small and closet space limited, however for just my husband and myself the cottage worked very well. Location is on the quiet side of Lake Macatawa, perfect for walking and biking. A close grocery store and restaurant are very convenient. We stayed for 2 weeks and would of been happy to stay longer.

Great little cottage

Ideal location on the south shore of Lake Macatawa. Host is extremely responsive -- highly recommended!

Great little quiet cottage by Lake Mac

Wonderful cottage on South side of Holland. Across from Lake Mac with some water views. Nice access to bike paths. Very responsive host and all amenities included. Couple small issues we noticed along the way but host was so helpful and responsive. We stayed so we could be near family in the area. Will come again.

Review

The property was a really good location w/ access both into Saugatuck and Holland within minutes. The kids loved the converted attic, while parents found it awkward to go up and down. Just enough space for a home base. The access to walking up and down South Shore was great. To nit pick - it could use some improvement. We had issues with the microwave not having a fitting turntable, so it was awkward to use since it would just slip off the track. The refrigerator left water on one of the shelves. Also the deck has some rather large gaps that chairs legs, dog feet, and other things can slip into, and it's the main entry way.

Holland Get Away

This property has an excellent location! So close to everything we wanted to do! Very safe neighborhood which we enjoyed. The house is clean and has everything you need. The host was great at communicating. The house was perfect for two people but with the loft would also work nicely for more. An extra nice bonus was the firewood provided for a cozy fire in the outdoor firepit!

Great little bungalow!

My good friend and I thoroughly enjoyed this very charming, well equipped, spotlessly clean cottage. Perfect base from which to explore Holland and Saugatuck. I definitely would highly recommend this property.

Relaxing stay.

Stayed here a couple of nights for fishing. Very convenient. 10 minutes from downtown Holland. 20 from Yacht Basin Marina. Suited us perfectly.

Very Good

This was a nice place for our Holland weekend. I'm glad that it had a main-floor bedroom so my parents did not have to climb stairs. The place was very neat and clean.

Perfect little getaway place

Home was great! It was just enough space for the 5 of us. Quick ride to downtown Holland. Owner was very responsive and easy to get in touch with.

Holland winter stay

The house was cute. Small. The location was good. The heat didn't stay regulated. The temp was set at 70, was 70 while furnace ran, then would drop down about 6 or more degrees before it would warm up again.

Thanksgiving Stay

This was the perfect place to stay while visiting family for Thanksgiving. Arrival instructions were super easy; accommodations were just as described online; and everything was clean! Highly recommend!

We are a young family who LOVE Holland Michigan! the beaches are awesome, the community is easy to get to and super relaxed, and there is a ton to do in town and in the parks. We can only make it to the house a few times every summer because of busy schedules, but this house handles our 3 kids and us just fine. We hope you enjoy staying in the cottage as much as we do!

This cottage was just right for us. We have 3 kids and busy lives so this small cottage fits our family perfectly. The kids absolutely love to sleep and play in the loft and as a family we eat dinner on the deck and take in the lake air, and enjoy s'mores at the fire pit after long days at the beach. Such a relaxing place with great neighbors and access to everything.
