The best feature of the accommodation was location and garden - come joint top! The owner Antoine was very nice too. The house was in a lovely position and has a lovely private garden. The inside is a bit neglected - there are large cracks in the floor, presumably due to ground movement. But it is a charming house in a rustic way! Villa pleine de charme au calme sur les hauteurs de Vence, ou nous avons passé 10 jours. Tout le nécessaire est à notre disposition, et tout est accessible rapidement (ville de Vence à 5min, plages de Cagnes à 20min...) La vue sur la mer depuis certains endroits est magique (chambre du haut par exemple). We spent a week in villa Lavande and had a great time. The nice owner Sonja received us and showed us around. The house is very tastefully decorated and has a beautiful garden with many places where you can sit. The house is also fully equipped inside a large gas stove and a nice oven, good showers, wifi. In addition, charming bedrooms and beautiful wall art. We really came to rest and at night you don`t hear anything. The house is located on the hills just outside Vence. The last part is steep by car, but you get used to it after a few times. A great base for trips in the area. Also thanks to Paul Rhodes for the fast and pleasant way of communicating!
