Wonderful Stay

My friend and I had a wonderful time in Meta. The apartment was a 2 minute walk from the EAV train station - very convenient to travel to Pompeii and Sorento. We loved the beautiful interior, and large balcony. We will stay here again when in the area :-)

Great Experience

The owner made the stay easy and stress free. Location was right by train station...easy walk with the kids for all our day excursions. The apartment was a perfect place to relax after our long days out...fully equipped for meals and a nice patio for unwinding with a glass of wine! Host was friendly, welcoming and helpful in ensuring we got settled. Thank you for a great visit.

Beautiful little traditional apartment, everything you need, literally steps from the main line station and bus stop, a very small quiet little town, solace after returning from busy cities etc. Hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Beach is walkable there and back, we didn’t bother getting buses there but we got a bus to Sorrento.

Great property!

We had a very nice stay in Meta! It is VERY close and convenient to the train station and we used it a lot! We were greeted charmingly by the owner’s father. The unit was very generously stocked with so many nice groceries and treats….the nicest we have ever seen!

Beautiful apartment

Southern Italia in January

Elysia checked me in. She explained many things related to the apartment & the town of Meta & surrounding areas. I had been in the area 2 years prior but there’s always something new to learn. The apartment was charming & very clean plus several amenities plus coffee milk & breakfast breads were supplied & most appreciated! The apartment is in a great location right across from the train station where one can board a train all day long to Naples- Sorrento- & all points in between. The one time I needed the owner she was quick to reply. I highly recommend Sunny Holidays in Meta for your next trip to southern Italy plus it’s a gateway to the fantastic Amalfi Coast!

Location location!

This is an amazing place to stay. Meta is the cutest with a beautiful beach. The location is everything. The train station is right across the street and the bus stop on the corner. There’s a perfect coffee shop up the hill and live music at night. Don’t hesitate to stay here. The terrace with all the beautiful flowers is perfect to sit and have coffee and some wine at night. I will definitely be back to stay here in the future.

Our Stay in Meta Italy

We loved the apartment. great location between Naples and the Amalfi Coast, Sorrento etc. Close to the sea, Beautiful views of the sea. Lots of room in the apartment. My only complaint would be to get a new mattress. My wife and I both found the mattress quite unforgiving... it was quite hard as well as the pillows. A small complaint... other than that it was great, and Grazia was very cordial as well as easy to work with. Would stay there again.

Hidden Gem on the Sorrento Peninsula

A tremendous, thank you to Illaria for sharing her beautiful Sunny Holiday house with us. As newcomers to VRBO, we were not sure what to expect and Ilaria got us through the process and was always quick to answer our questions. You will be charmed by this welcoming apartment in Meta -just a few train or bus stops from Sorrento. We also visited Amalfi and took a cooking class nearby. Sunny Holidays had everything we were looking for - a quaint terrace, comfortable amenities, and a very central location. We even found a favorite restaurant in Meta and made it there twice, it was so good. Just ask Ilaria! If people make the place, then you are in great hands, staying with Ilaria in her quintessential Italian apartment.

Home from home

We have stayed several times in Meta, in an apartment in an orchard, in a historic building and perched high up on the top of the cliff. In all of these, we had lovely holidays. This time we decided to be nearer the Circumvesuviana station and within easy walking distance of our friends that live in Piano. Grazia`s apartment fulfilled all our requirements. On a sunny, somewhat blusterous day in the last week in April, Grazia met us at the station, which is a few minutes’ walk from the apartment. Her husband and daughter were also there to show us around and explain how everything worked. This is where the family lives a lot of the time, in the summer. During the four weeks we stay here, we lived as we do at home, preparing most of the meals ourselves and eating out two or three times a week. For this, the apartment is well equipped. There are several food shops within a short walking distance. Crai supermarket in Via Caracciolo has a fairly good selection, especially fruit and vegetables. There is a small Deco supermarket on the main road, Corso Italia and a little further along there is a very good fish shop, a butcher, a bakery, a lady’s hairdresser, a barber and towards Piano, there is a Carrefour supermarket, beside Banco di Napoli with an ATM. A further ten minutes’ walk along the main road and you come to the large Sisa supermarket in Piano. They have a very big selection of food and wines, including a good butchery and ready prepared take-away food. It costs just € 1,20 on the train or bus into Sorrento. The bus stop is right outside the apartment. There are several good restaurants in Meta; three of our favourites being La Conca, Tico Tico and Golden Beach – all of these are down beside the beach. Another lovely restaurant, with reasonable prices, is Il Cantuccio in Massa Lubrense. It is away from the rather overcrowded Sorrento and has magnificent views towards Capri. Simply take Bus A from the stop opposite the apartment and get off at the last stop in Massa Lubrense. The restaurant is just a few yards from the bus stop. If you are first in Massa Lubrense, the walk down to the little harbour is very rewarding. The apartment is comfortably furnished and the terrace with lots of lovely flowering plants, is sunny most of the daytime but also has a nice shaded area for dining. The TV has the Sky package and it was nice to follow the Giro d`Italia and watch the odd football game. Thank you Grazia and look forward to seeing you again.

El apartamento es una opcion excelente calidad precio para hacer campamento base para visitar la costa amalfitana. Esta ubicada muy próxima ( 1 minuto) a la estacion de tren que te lleva en 3 paradas a sorrento (6 minutos) desde donde salen los autobuses para la costa almafitana. El apartamento esta muy limpio y es muy comodo y con todo lo necesario para facilitar la estancia con el plus del aire acondicionado. Lo unico molesto es que esta en una calle transitada y por la noche/madrugada hay ruido porque las ventanas no tienen aislamiento acustico pero es lo único negativo. Lo recomendamos 100%

L’appartement est fonctionnel et très bien aménagé. L’accueil a été très sympathique avec de bons conseils pour les restaurants. Le seul bémol est la circulation intense même la nuit qui fait pas mal de bruit.

Schöne günstig gelegene Wohnung

Eine schöne und saubere Wohnung mit schöner großer Terrasse, sehr gepflegt. Günstig gelegen zu Bahnhof und Bushaltestellen, daher ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge nach Capri, Sorrent, Neapel sowie an die Amalfi-Küste. Sehr nette Gastgeber.

At night quiet and safe. A very friendly and warm welcome by the host and his wife. Nice to be met at the station and let the short way to the appartment. Surpriced to be able to start out at once with milk, butter, a little coffee and different kind of cookies - thanks to Maurizio and Anna - friendly and sympatic hosts😀 We got quick and relevant information and instructions, even learnt to make tasteful espresso the Napoli way😀 From start to end a perfect communication via VRBO. Torna a' Surrient

Le RBNB était très bien placé, propre, et l’arrivée et le départ ont été très faciles et flexibles. L’hôte était très sympa et nous a conseillé pleins de bons restaurants :) Le RBNB est à 15 min à pied de la plage et 3 min de la gare (pour aller vers Sorrento ou Naples). Le Parking pour la voiture est à 2 min de l’appartement. Plutôt conseiller pour 2 adultes et deux enfants. Merci pour l'accueil !!

This property is so charming and so conveniently located! Ilaria was so kind and easy to communicate with. He met us at the train station, showed us the property, provided instuctions as well as breakfast. The terrace is gorgeous and we were comfortable and felt safe. We didn’t want to leave!! Wonderful stay in Meta

I stayed for ten weeks at this property and was very happy there. The unit is very clean and well equipped. Maurizio was very helpful and accommodating. He met me at the train station on my arrival and even though I don’t speak Italian we had no problems communicating. The apartment is located on the bus routes and across from the train station. The views, night and day from the terrace are wonderful and I hope to return next year in the spring.

Spacious and amazing balcony

the location of the spacious apartment was excellent-right across from the train station and buses to amalfi coast. Maurizio was very accommodating and helpful. We didn’t receive an address for check in so there was a bit of confusion which got remedied!! A really nice place to stay !!

Meta

Delightful apartment, close to train station and just a short walk uphill to the town. A short train trip to Sorrento and from there to Amalfi coast, or Capri, or in the other direction to Pompeii and Naples. Our host was very helpful, lots of little extras in the apartment to make our stay even more pleasant. No hesitancy to recommend to others.
